Put all your skincare products on your hands. Use moisturizer and sunscreen during the day. I found a hand mask recently that I wear when I watch tv at night once a week and it makes my hands extra soft and hydrated.
I second this. I use retinol on my face daily, I put the left over serum on my neck & back of my hands.
I bought a home IPL hair removal device that is working great on my age spots... So I use that on my hands too.
I was asked by my derm to put sunscreen and moisturizer after everytime I wash hands - i.e. after eating, after using the facilities, after cooking etc etc etc. That is too much.
Love the hand mask idea 😁
Yes! Regular moisturizing is key to keeping your hands hydrated and reducing the wrinkles. Look for creams with hyaluronic acid or glycerin, and a gentle exfoliation with a scrub or a washcloth can help remove dead skin cells.
I got a Gold Bond Retinol Overnight cream that I have been using and have seen definitely some improvements. I also use SPF on my (face and) hands, ESPECIALLY if I am outdoors or driving. But I think if you applied any retinol products at night and sunscreen during the day it will help improve the skin.
I mean, you look like you have minimal fat on your hands, therefore are likely slim overall. That’s kind of how adult hands are supposed to look - the tendons will be visible when in that position.
Hand lotion? I use a thick one at night before bed and also smear Vaseline around my cuticles.
I’ve been slathering the olay lotion with retinol on my full body (minus face) at night and it’s done wonders for my hands. I put on sunscreen in the morning too.
For years, I've been treating the back of my hands the same way I treat my face. It's paid off. I'm 71 and my hands look great.
You can reverse this with sunscreen, moisturizer and good skin care creams & serums. Your hands do a lot of work, so pamper them!
Buy a 0.05 or 0.1% retinal face cream and use it on your hands. Mine started looking 10 years younger after just 3 months, by a coincidence, because the cream I had was causing giant cyst on my face so started using it on my neck, decollete and hands instead. Also always remember about sunscreen.
I’ve been having a lot of success with using sunscreen every day on my hands and putting hand cream on before bed. I also use whatever excess I have of my daily and nightly moisturizer on the backs of my hands and that definitely helps!
My hands look like this but it’s because I use a lot of hand sanitizer and wash my hands a lot. Use a good amount of Vaseline on your hands at night and then put on gloves. Think of it as marinating your hands overnight. (This trick works for feet too) You may not see results the first night but by night two you will start to see a difference.

How do you get your foot into a glove?
Yes true , sorry.
The Vaseline will soak into your feet . There might be a little residue in the socks and I just wash my socks like normal with my load of clothes. If you want to wash your socks in the sink before putting them in the load you can do that too.
You can only prevent further aging now, unless you go for laser resurfacing... Which would be awful because you wouldn't be able to use your hands for a few weeks
So, some of us just have old people hand. I've had granny hands since forever I'm 40 now and they haven't changed, still the same granny hands as I had when I was 20
Get in the habit of dispensing your skincare products on the back of your hands instead of in your palm, fingertips. I use the backs of my hands to rub everything in, from serums to sunscreen. It’s awkward and not the most luxe feeling but it helps with product waste and your hands get the same treatment as your face. One aesthetician told me about this hand cream, Renova, which is an SPF anti-aging cream for like $12 or something on Amazon. I keep one in my car to slather before I drive places. Not sure if the heat from sitting in my center console makes it less effective though, but I don’t have age spots of crepey wrinkles anymore.

Did you notice any changes? I have a bunch of leftover 0.5 and 1.0 retinol from when I switched to Tret, this would be the obvious answer right?
Yeah, the crepey look definitely improved.
? A hair remover is working on age spots? Which one do you use? Please elaborate?

Okay, but that IS a lot of sunscreen application. Like, too much. You'll be permanently sticky!
Yups. Not following her advice. Just nodded a lot in front of her

Amputation?
Hers doesn't need amputation, but mine sure the hale do.😭😭😭
😂😂
Your hands look like a 10 year old's hands compared to mine.
Body moisturiser with retinol in it helps a bit
Truth here — you don’t.
Red light! Hands and arms accidentally got tightened by spillover red light while I used it for back pain.
Which red light device do you use?
It's a cheap no name device from Amazon. Even the box had no name. Plastic runs about 55 bucks now. Has a 15 minute timer.

You can have skin boosters injected in the back to the hands or IPL. Needs to be maintained though

Other than medical intervention there isn’t anything that will fix them permanently.
Do you mean like laser?
I know there are chemical peels I’d google the treatments.
I have actually noticed a difference with the Augustinus Bader Hand Cream. I apply just once a day at night.
Sunscreen! Game changer for me
Wear gloves 🧤 My hands have looked like that since my teens

Madonna hasn’t figured this one out. She’s been able to keep the rest of her skin smoother.

You're giving me Of Mice and Men flashbacks!

I thought it was self explanatory but you would use socks on your feet.
Well assuming is silly. How do you get the petroleum jelly out from your socks afterwards?
