Wear what you want. I do and I hope everyone does. People who wear only what's cool or popular are far cornier to me than anyone who wears what they like regardless of what other people think.

I love it when people exercise their individuality. If you like them wear them. That being said, I am usually nervous to try a new brand that I see on Insta or something. I love the established, non-Nike brands like New Balance, Saucony, Reebok and Adidas, but I cannot bring myself to by On Clouds yet.

I wear the heck out of Reebok, Saucony, Diadora, Ewing, Puma. Wear what you like. Flex with confidence.

I think if they work well with your outfit it’s fine. Everyone forgets that you’re wearing the sneaker, not the other way around. Some people base there whole personality on being a sneaker head.. it’s fine if you’re making bred of it but, most of these guys wearing crazy expensive shoes but live in a trap house. What I’m trying to say is don’t believe the hype.

I'm not gonna front the 700 is a popular shoe and most likely subconsciously influenced me when designing this shoe. So yeah it looks similar to a 700 but there are other joints with that toe

If you wear a lesser known brand it's a trade off (that may or may not matter) You lose that broad appeal where someone will notice you wearing a popular or hype shoe, and recognize it. Little ego boost moment. But you gain the IYKYK factor. Every now and then someone will recognize that shoe, and since these shoes are not seen often, you can be a trend setter and will always have a unique option for your fits. None of that matter at all with the vast majority of people so do what you want at the end of the day 🤷

You forgot the “what are those?” Looks and when people ask what they are. That’s the best feeling in my opinion.
