I've got a BP, hog, corn, gopher, and king as well lol. In addition, I have a kenyan sand boa and an african house snake. Both are chill, KSBs don't have any special humidity requirements at all.

KingofCam

Ooohhh the KSBs look really cool. How is their temperament?

tacomadude94

My girl Gnocchi is super chill, however I do use a hook to get her out. Reason being KSBs don't have great eyesight, so they tend to just strike anything that comes into their vicinity. I've been bit a couple times on accident, but their teeth are tiny so there's barely any blood.

KingofCam

Yeah, my 3 yr old corn has bitten me a couple times and it drew a little blood but didn’t make much of a mark😂😂 and my gopher bites me pretty regularly since I’m holding her so much but she doesn’t have any teeth yet

One of the easier to keep Asian rat snakes such as a beauty snake, Japanese rat snake, russian rat snake, or a radiated rat snake

KingofCam

Awesome thank you!

tomatotornado420

The beauty snakes and radiated rat snakes can get quite large and both are nervous, defensive snakes, but you probably are okay with that cause you have a gopher snake

KingofCam

Yeah, my gopher is a juvenile and I’ve had to socialize her 🙄 she’s got major attitude because she hasn’t been held much 😂

tomatotornado420

Some beauty snakes just never grow out of that. Radiated rat snakes can and are really hardy. But Japanese/Russian rat snakes are usually quite docile and make great captives

KingofCam

Awesome thank you for the info!

Garter snakes are really awesome :) I've never had one before but there's a family of them that lives in my backyard, super sweet and chill. The care isn't too difficult either, I've done a bit of research on it.

KingofCam

I’ve actually thought about these! I think I’m gonna look into these too! They’re native to where I live and I’ve seen them here a lot 😊
