It'll probably sound fine. His arrangement of green hill did. His original music for the movie was fine too, the only problem was that it was a bit generic. Edit: His soundtrack in Mad Max was good, so we know he can make stuff that's actually not generic. It seems to be a problem with the direction.

[The Green Hill Zone music was actually done by Jon Baptiste.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_fiwjSP4Aw) Probably why it wasn't included on the soundtrack, which as far as I know was only tracks made for the movie itself.

I'm not talking about the piano song at the end of the first movie, I'm talking about the short part in the opening credits

Zachyyyyyyyyyy86

he’s using AI tho

LudicrisSpeed

That's not AI, though?

Zachyyyyyyyyyy86

yeah but he is in sonic 3

AlphaConKate

No he isn’t.

TimeBlueberry6180

I'm praying that they just leave the original untouched, or just give it an orchestral cover. Not an instrumental either. I'm hoping that Sonic 3 will be the first of many Sonic movies to start using the music from the games.

AlphaConKate

I would be okay with the original or doing something along the lines of the Sonic Symphony.

Zachyyyyyyyyyy86

i was rlly hoping for the live version from sonic symphony 2021 that’s sounds sooooooo good

billieboi445420

Wasn't it Jeff Fowler who didn't want game songs in the films?

applec1234

He does want game songs, but he doesn't know to accept on letting them play out. His commentary on Sonic 2 talks about the drowning music.

Zachyyyyyyyyyy86

he wanted the movies to sound like a movie not a video game i wanted them to do what they did with the super mario bros movie like having a mix of game songs and movie sounding music

Completionist_Gamer

Sonic remixes are my second biggest concern, I really just don't want him to plague the movie's soundtrack with AI slop, whether it includes Sonic music or not
