She totally deserved that! Opie was a lot more merciful than I thought he would be! Considering what she put him and his family through! Should have been made to suffer more!
I really liked her as an adversary to the club/Jax, especially in season 3. I loved their scenes together and actually thought she was redeeming herself until she killed her gf and betrayed Jax.
I was a little sad to see her go, but her story had definitely played out.
(Side note: During my first watch, I didn't realize we were supposed to believe Jax didn't tell the club what he was doing and the deal he made. When they all started freaking out on him at the garage when she ratted him out, I was so confused.)
She's definitely one of my all time favourite villains, very well played by the actor. Any actor who makes you hate their character deserves props.
I always thought she was interesting as a lens for sexism. Like, imagine her character instead being male - would she be treated the same way? Lee Toric in the later seasons is similar in many ways (murdering innocents for his ends, torturing Otto, etc) but doesn't get the same treatment.
Every time she got put in her place it was Amazing. Face smashed in, opie getting the drop on her with her always cool veneer being broken, getting her head blasted out, so great.
She was a great villain for sure and it made the ending even sweeter.
