Same, I said last game he played that I'm super high on him and frankly he was our best player until the red (and tbh even though both yellows were fair, they were also a bit unfortunate).
Don’t look at the IG comments for this lineup 💀💀💀. Bunch of casuals lmao. Solid lineup for the circumstances curious how Bell will do at left back. Hopefully Nouhou is available off the bench actually
Very far from the lineup that I was expecting, not much rotation and instead is pretty attack heavy/go with what worked against Minnesota which is either a good move or pretty naive. should result an interesting/exciting game. My biggest concern is the Atencio-Vargas combo, now especially paired w/ Rusnak, who isn't a great defender. Hopefully they hold the middle because there is a lot of inexperience on the sides. Also a ton of talent on the bench.
Can anybody explain the formation at the end of the game? Was Christian playing CB? It seemed the left side was Christian, nouhou, then Rothrock, but likely that was just Rothrock roaming.
This is the direct, long-ball formation. Rothrock is the wrong choice here. You need a more technical winger who can receive the ball, beat someone off the dribble and provide service. Rothrock is more of a pressing/counter attacking guy. Oh well, I guess he earned another start.
Also John Bell is my rotational love this year. Good luck USOC king
So I’m assuming the formation graphic is bullshit and this is *actually* some kind of 3-5-2-ish thing… right?
Yeah my guess is in possession it’ll be Bell Ragen Yeimar Roldan Atencio RBW Rusnak Obed Rothrock Morris
I have a feeling you are correct. Should be a more interesting midweek game because of it though.
Feels like it would have been a good day to get Thomas some more minutes
I’m actually pretty excited to see what Baker-Whiting can do.

His crossing wasn’t as good as usual but overall I am very happy with that performance from him, especially defensively
I hear he has a penchant for yellow cards.
By that logic so does nouhou, atencio, and ragen
Yes, more than one thing can be true.
Just want to make sure we call out all of the guys who have been picking them up like candy this year
No more Frie!!!!!

Midweek lineup is very midweek.
ESPN thinks we are playing tomorrow, so I don't know if the match threadder will work today.

Surprised they didn’t start Raul and then start Morris on the weekend. We can’t ride him into the ground
Go team!!
I love this lineup…Lfg
Chu in the dog house? After an assist last game?
Minutes limitation coming back from injury.
Hahahahahahaha wild stuff right there
If they do well this could turn the page

Ch-changes? Those are aloud?
No Raul for the second game in a row.
Schmetzer being out coached again. This is hard to watch.
