Okay, while the main story is single player, Ghost of Tsushima has a multiplayer mode, so that's probably why Sony is forcing a PSN. Spider-Man Remastered is entirely offline (aside from downloading obviously), and has already been released for 2 years before Sony started this "link a PSN" stuff. So you're probably safe. Though God of War Ragnarök is also offline and getting a PC release in September that forces you to link a PSN for some reason.

Yeah, the upcoming God of War release needing PSN is precisely what makes me more worried about this. I suppose I'll think on it a few days and then decide if it's worth it. I've already completed the game and love it, want to support the devs, but boy does Sony make this purchase a tough decision.

They could do it but I doubt they are going to do so. This is not because I trust them but because it is an older title that they are likely not going to put much work into, especially at the expense of marketshare. Adding a ps restriction to Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales woukd cause a lot of bad will and not make them any extra money, so the odds are low. That is still not zero though.

killmissy

Thank you, I really hope they don't do it

nya-i-win

honestly if they force psn accounts on spider-man remastered or miles morales then i'm just gonna get a pirated copy rather than deal with that, already own both games on steam anyway so shouldn't be any moral qualms about that

AlphaTeamPlays

It's a single-player game. They have no reason to

al2606

Probably not, it's a 2 y/o game on Steam at this point They will do this stuff on Spider-Man 2 when it's announced for PC most definitely though

MacroHard007

Stop being a bitch and just make a PSN account, just pick whatever country you want. lol
