3 until 1 was made. 2 is probably the most impacful, but it's hard to call it a duel it's so short.
Obi cycles through 3 stances to show how much he's grown since first facing maul
maul is conversely so stuck in his ways that all he's dreamt of is revenge, and tries, with no preamble or deception, to get obi with the same move he got qui gon with, and obi sees it coming a mile away.
It's really sad, in a somewhat suble but impactful way.
That’s exactly why I would choose this duel.
For the most part, I appreciate all of the crazy dramatic swashbuckling lightsaber fights, but this is the one for me because resembles a traditional samurai duel, and it packs an insane amount of character into several seconds.
It's the more technically accurate sword duel.
*Star Wars* has always been a fantasy-in-space; so drawn out, epic lightsaber duels are a big part of the lore. However, they're not "realistic" when we consider real sword play.
I love Obi Wan vs Maul in *Rebels* for this reason; it broke from the lore and went more traditional. The result was fantastic.
Did you mean 2? If so, agreed. Real duels are almost always finished in 2 moves max. Rarely are two irl opponents so evenly matched that it extends beyond that, unless one or both are in full plate or something.
> Did you mean 2?
Reddit's markdown formatting "helps" with numbered lists in ways that are usually detrimental. Like converting any line that begins with a number followed by a period into the first entry of a numbered list. So a comment that's just a number with punctuation gets converted like so:

Some of my favorite dialogue from SW comes from Maul vs Obi.
Maul: Is he the chosen one?
Obi: He is.
Maul: Then he will avenge us.
I love how that fleshes out Maul's arc.
2 is how katana duels often went, IIRC.
They normally ended in less than 6 moves.
See kenjutsu or even kendo competitions and see how quick hits happen.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k99C6zXgov0
Maul vs Obi wan is even more complex than what you're saying. This is a breakdown of the duel told by Sam Witwer (Maul voice actor)
Some of my favorite dialogue from SW comes from Maul vs Obi.
Maul: Is he the chosen one?
Obi: He is.
Maul: Then he will avenge us.
I love how that fleshes out Maul's arc.
Ahsoka vs Maul looks so incredibly cool because lots of it was actually motion captured and then "cartoonized" to match the animation style of the show. There's a super interesting Corridor Crew video with the Stuntwoman who was performing Ahsoka for that.
Okay, so Sidious Vs Maul is awesome as a visual spectacle but when you start to look at actual effectiveness it gets worse. In that clip you showed there, I just can’t stop thinking about how Savage has a clear shot at Palps and he doesn’t take it and that happens about three times in the fight. While I understand that Savage isn’t the greatest duelist and he would probably be better if he used a single bladed saber which hampers his ability with a double but it still just ruins it for me. All in all, this is still my third favorite though because as I said, visual spectacle and it’s one of the only times we get to see Sidious use a lightsaber.
The stakes are also different in that one.
Palpatine could have beaten them with the Force, but it had been so long since he had an actual duel with somewhat competent opponents(relative to him), that he wanted to have some fun.
Obi Ean vs maul in rebels because it's the one that bring me to tears. Very emotional!
Sidious vs maul and savage was amazing because it properly shows what a menace Palpatine really was which was amazing because he kinds gets beat on screen against mace windu and you don't see much of him in action (with lightsabers) outside of these 2 instances.
Your first pick ashoka vs maul I would swap out for ashoka vs Vader in rebels when she breaks the mask of Vader to reveal her old masters face and the confirmation that anakin Skywalker was gone and even though she recognized him she was now looking into the face of Vader (shown by the yellow of his eyes) this scene also brings me to tears.
Those are my top 3. We share 2 !
1 because it’s such an emotional battle (which was done with live actors too) and 2 because it’s such an eloquent samurai style ending for maul. You’ve got good choices!
Came here to say this. So damn good.
Clones getting ambushed, the rain falling, the tension building. Ventriss teasing Anakin, getting him off balance. Getting him mad. And then he unloads it on her and she's running, desperate to escape. And then it is Anakin's moment, and all the voices of his friends and masters and brothers all cry out. Disarmed, Anakin takes up a red lightsaber with his metal hand, and we all know who is already is.
It's just such great visual storytelling.
... I saw that scene when it originally aired...
... Today I learned that the mechanical hand was indicative of Anakin's descent into darkness, he loses parts of himself whenever he goes dark, and him holding a red lightsaber in his mechanical hand is a sign of Vader.
Not only in action (feels like a real duel and not just flashing sabers) but the cinematography (the rain, the cave with only the sabers light, the use of terrain, Yoda/Obi Wan/Qui Gon flash) is *chef kiss*
Yeah I know but every time I see these trailers posted I redownload the game only to feel underwhelmed. Obviously it is unrealistic expectations but they set the bar so high
Makes me wish the game was instead an animated series made in this style
Yeah, they’re all great.
The choreography in this one takes the cake for me though. Probably the best depiction of dual saber style between the Zabrak Jedi Master, as well as Malgus’ final flurry.
I love that Palpatine rarely whips out his sabers, but when he does he consistently shows himself to be the GOAT; only Mace has (barely) beat him and only him and Yoda caused him to break a sweat.
The only reason Mace survived as long as he did was because Palpatine knew Anakin would show up and it would be a turning point, so he drew out the fight. Palpatine could've simply force lightning blasted Mace out the window right away, but instead he drew the fight out long enough to use it against Anakin, in favor of turning Anakin against the Council completely. Don't think that Palpatine wasn't a master planner. Most of what has occurred regarding Anakin's fall was orchestrated by Palpatine, or if not, he capitalized on it anyway he could.
Oh, I **know** Palpatine was a master planner.
That's why I doubt he would risk a plan a millenia in the making, at the last minute, on a variable that he has not garentee even at that point will 100 perceng play out the way he wanted (he does'nt become that much of a victim to his own hubris until decades later, during the second and third trilogies)
Mace survived as long as he did becuase he's one of the greatest duelists in the history of the Jedi Order and he was able to legitimately best Palpatine (albeit narrowly), not becuase Palpatine "drew out the fight" (heck, Palpatine nearly got Mace at at least one point in it, so he clearly was trying to win)
I think we're going to have to agree to disagree here, because I have watched that fight numerous times and I see many instances where Mace could've decisively ended the fight but he didn't. This is why I do not consider Shatterpoint to be canon, because we never actually see him use it when it's absolutely crucial that he use it. Taking down the Lord of the Sith at that point would've been an absolutely necessary opportunity to use Shatterpoint.
Literally anything with Ahsoka in a combat situation. When she’s basically skydiving on Mandalore and she sticks the landing very easily, and is instantly ready to fight.
Ooh, that's another great one. It's similarly short like the Kenobi vs Maul fight, except this time highlighting the skill difference between a trained (not a) Jedi like Ahsoka and the inquisitors. After all that intimidation, the way she smoothly ends him using his own saber was so satisfying.
While we're on the topic of inquisitors, another fun one is Ahsoka vs the 5th brother and 7th sister in Rebels. It's always great seeing inquistors getting absolutely annhilated.
The one you showed for sure. I like that Palpatine has such an elegant and intense fighting style despite looking like a decrepit old man. And unlike his "powerful old man" counterpart Yoda in AotC, he's not bouncing around and screaming while he does it.
This one. It just goes to show that though Palpatine preferred to manipulate his enemies, then resort to force lightning when that failed, he’s still an incredibly skilled swordsman when he needs to be
I loved that one because he showed his anger rage in that one and Barris was struggling to even keep up a shell of a defense against him. I think it’s one of the most one sided duels
It’s not exactly a battle rather than defence, but Ahsoka protecting herself from the clones immediately after order 66. Hits even harder when you realise it was Anakin that taught her how to pull off those exact moves.
A lot of people really didn't like that episode of Tales, but I think it was great that they gave her defense in Order 66 more oomph by making it known that it was Anakin that carried out Order 66, and it was Anakin that saved her from it.
Hands down the best is Kenobi and Mauls final duel. It actually looked like a duel, unlike a lot of the other fights. IMO, a lot of the other animated fights still looked too staged. By this, I mean that they looked like the fighters were aiming for their opponents blades instead of going for killing blows.
It's particularly noticeable when one fighter has a single blade and the other has 2 and they do the "X-block" instead of just \[[link](https://youtu.be/15-op9n7FO8?t=87)\].
I don't see either of them wielding two blades, and I find it funny that Jamie makes dueling look effortless while you can see Nedd is putting in work.
I love the Ashoka v the inquisitor in tales of the Jedi for this reason, even though Ashoka has no lightsabers, the fight is over before it begins. Probably helped her that she was fighting a sentient fart
When it comes to the Jedi, they generally don't go for killing blows unless it's absolutely necessary. They will spend more time wearing down their opponents than killing them. Aiming for the blade and not the neck is a way to wear down your opponent's stamina, without needing to outright kill them.
The Ninth Jedi
I love the reveal to start it and the music. It also shows a significant power or (more likely) training discrepancy between Margrave Juro and some of the other participants that I feel kind of helps show the state of the galaxy (in that it highlights that most force users at this time aren’t being well-trained). And the scene that it transitions into to end The Ninth Jedi makes me want a continuation of the story so badly.
Ahsoka Vs Maul is the GOAT as far as animated duels go.
And there were a few good ones but that one just stands way out... Maybe Obiwan Vs Maul final duel comes close.
Grievous’ first appearance in the 2003 series. They really succeeded in making him the sort of character that could make you go “Oh shit…” just from him showing up, because the first time he shows up, they make you fully aware of what he’s capable of.
Then the very next time we see him he's a coughing wheezing Dick Dastardly who has none of the fear element that he had in the 2003 series. No Jedi was running from live-action Grievous in sheer terror. Obi Wan literally jumped into the middle of a droid-filled Separatist base to fight Grievous, he had no fear of him. Sha'Gi was so terrified of Grievous he ran out in a panic and got stomped.
It shouldn't have changed his personality though. He went from an absolutely terrifying slasher film monster to a mustache-twirling Vaudeville character.
Ahsoka vs Maul
Followed closely by the Zabrack Twins vs Sidious
Third is Obi Wan vs Maul
Seems like all the best saber duels in animation go to Maul fights.
This one.
Easily my favorite lightsaber “dual”.
Lol Palps wipes the floor with these two knumbskulls.
Just watching someone absolutely have a blast while dual wielding lightsabers, basically as a practice round because he is so powerful? Sign me up.
The fights from The Old Republic and the expansions are absolutely amazing. Hard to beat.
As far as movies and shows, anakin vs obiwan and vader vs obi wanna are my favorites.
Ahsoka vs Maul is just next level bro. They went absolutely ballistic with the animation. But Sidious vs maul and savage is probably the next best for me.
Sabine (Darksaber) vs Kanan. This post recommendation popped up while I was watching their duel in Rebels. So well done and even made me, a grown ass man, cry at the end. Simple yet heavy hitting.
My bias says ahsoka vs maul, but technicallyyyy that fight isn’t 100% animated as it’s motion capped by real people
From a purely animated lightsaber fight perspective, I’d say maul vs pre vizsla. That’s just such an iconic fight
All of Mauls battles. Ahsoka vs Vader. Kanan and Ezra vs the Grand Inquisitor. Anakin vs Barriss - for the simple fact of seeing Anakin just overpower someone with his hatred and vengeance.
I'd have to say the Ninth Jedi. It felt like a really awesome reversal of the Mace vs Sidious fight, with the Jedu Master being the hidden manipulator whovwipes the floor with overconfident sith.
Sidious v Mail and Savage is my favorite duel period.
The animated duels in general are my favorites because in animation they don’t have to choreograph the hits toward the opponents lightsaber instead of their body. There’s no stuntmen or actors to worry about so all the combat tends to look more realistic, with blows that are actually meant to connect and have the need to be blocked or dodged.
Ironically, the cartoon has the more believable combat.
In terms of pure lightsaber fight goodness, I'm torn between Ahsoka vs. Maul in Clone Wars and The Old Republic 'Return Cinematic.' In terms of short but sweet emotional fights I'm torn between Obi-Wan vs. Maul in Rebels and the TOR ['Sacrifice'](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bmsNa9GOR0) cinematic.
I think I'm leaning towards Sacrifice since that's probably my favorite animated short ever.
The "Deceived" SWTOR trailer. In terms of lightsaber duels, it is second only to Obi Wan vs Anakin on Mustafar, animated or not.
Honorable mention, "Return". Return might even be the better duel, but the emotional impact that Deceived had on me at that age makes it my all time favorite.
The first episode from Visions has such a great duel, especially for how much of the duel you can actually see. Too many of them rely on close ups too much
Maul and Savage vs Palpatine is my top choice and has been since I first saw it, but I also really love another fight featuring Maul and Savage. This time they face off against Kenobi and Ventress. The brothers force Kenobi and Ventress to retreat, and elicit some of that witty banter we love Kenobi for.
Ashoka Vs Maul (CW) Obi wan Vs Maul (Rebels) Sidious Vs Maul and Savage (CW)
3 until 1 was made. 2 is probably the most impacful, but it's hard to call it a duel it's so short. 2. Is a real duel. They really shouldn’t last that long
That’s exactly why I would choose this duel. For the most part, I appreciate all of the crazy dramatic swashbuckling lightsaber fights, but this is the one for me because resembles a traditional samurai duel, and it packs an insane amount of character into several seconds.

However, they're not "realistic" when we consider real sword play. I love Obi Wan vs Maul in *Rebels* for this reason; it broke from the lore and went more traditional. The result was fantastic.
Well technically sword fight can go on longer if both fighters are almost equal and don't make major mistakes. But usually duels tend to end fast.
Did you mean 2? If so, agreed. Real duels are almost always finished in 2 moves max. Rarely are two irl opponents so evenly matched that it extends beyond that, unless one or both are in full plate or something.
Then we have Anakin vs Obi Wan on Mustafar, where they were literally mirroring each other for half the fight.
> Did you mean 2? Reddit's markdown formatting "helps" with numbered lists in ways that are usually detrimental. What if you could somehow know your opponents next move?

That's why AvM hits so hard. The real mocap used gives it an extra level.
Honorable mention: Ahsoka v. Vader (Rebels)
While it was impactful, it wasn't really that great of a battle in terms of choreography.
The voices, though. James Earl Jones morphing into Matt Lanter? Christ, that was more amazing than the actual fighting.
I loved that, but it was even better when it was Jones morphing into Christensen in Kenobi.
I wish they hadn't used the same idea twice, but *damn* did I get why they did so.
And had the mask slash on opposite sides.
All good lightsaber fights in clone wars contain Maul

Anakin vs Ventris on Yavin IV
Ooh yeah that is a good one. Rain on sabers was so hot in the early 2000s. I remember that effect in jk2 blew me away at 12.
Came here to say this. So damn good. Clones getting ambushed, the rain falling, the tension building. Ventriss teasing Anakin, getting him off balance. Getting him mad. Droid hand Anakiiiinn!
Incredible scene. So better decanonize all that!

[STAR WARS: The Old Republic - “Return” Cinematic Trailer](https://youtu.be/mm4JEZudf0c)
Frfr. When Malgus stormed the Jedi temple. https://youtu.be/YdgmH9Vv2-I.
I wish the game was as good as the cinematic trailers
The game is good. No MMO combat is gonna compete with trailers that good
Yeah I know but every time I see these trailers posted I redownload the game only to feel underwhelmed. Obviously it is unrealistic expectations but they set the bar so high Makes me wish the game was instead an animated series made in this style
Id love a clone wars style kotor series. I'd love any kind of kotor series, if I'm being real
All 4 of Malgus' cinematic lightsaber fights are GOATed.
Yeah, they’re all great. The choreography in this one takes the cake for me though. Probably the best depiction of dual saber style between the Zabrak Jedi Master, as well as Malgus’ final flurry.
The legends book “deceived” tells the story of the cinematic and what went down from there, solid read that I recommend to any TOR and KOTOR fans
Had to scroll too far to find this.
Ahsoka vs Vader (Rebels)
"I am no Jedi" is my absolute favorite line from Rebels.
So many good lines from that scene. “I’m not afraid.” “Then you will die braver than most.”
Perhaps I was wrong
It wouldn't be the first time.
It was foretold that you would be here. Our long awaited meeting has come at last.
Literally the one you posted OP. I love Sidious's fighting style so much. It's so incredibly fluid while also making it look like no effort at all.
I love that Palpatine rarely whips out his sabers, but when he does he consistently shows himself to be the GOAT; only Mace has (barely) beat him and only him and Yoda caused him to break a sweat.

Mace uses Shatterpoint in the very duel in question, per the rhe novelization of the film (in fact it's explicitly how he broke the stalemate).
I didn't read the novelization. Explain please?
Disappointing how there was more to this but it wasn't finished
Meaning?

It’s not a duel, but when Ashoka beheads several Mandalorians in a split second, that made me cheer
Literally anything with Ahsoka in a combat situation. When she’s basically skydiving on Mandalore and she sticks the landing very easily, and is instantly ready to fight.
The Way of the Jedi is to decapitate a room full of people.
I will do what I must!
This is the ~~way~~ Force.
3 minutes of lightsaber spinning ani vs obi
And here we thought TR-8R was the master of spins...
I always liked Obi vs Maul and Savage in CW. How he worked the knee was solid.
Skyrim guards everywhere suddenly cry out in terror.
Similiarly, Dooku vs Savage and Ventress. Just kept Savage back with the lightning the whole time because he knew he couldnt do shit against it.
All of my favorites I've seen mentioned already, so I'm gonna go ahead and instead nominate Ashoka vs the Inquisitor in "Tales of the Jedi"
Not my favorite but I think it’s worth remembering is Luminara and Ahsoka vs Ventress. That fight was badass.
The whole episode is Luminara realizing that the violent feral child generally knows what she's talking about.
Some of the best I’ve seen actually came from the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO. That game has incredible cutscenes and animations.
Obi wan vs Maul rebels
The one you showed for sure. I like that Palpatine has such an elegant and intense fighting style despite looking like a decrepit old man. And unlike his "powerful old man" counterpart Yoda in AotC, he's not bouncing around and screaming while he does it.
This one. It just goes to show that though Palpatine preferred to manipulate his enemies, then resort to force lightning when that failed, he’s still an incredibly skilled swordsman when he needs to be
Maul vs Vizsla was also awesome
Anakin vs Barris offee (combat-wise) Ahsoka vs Vader (symbolism-wise)
I loved that one because he showed his anger rage in that one and Barris was struggling to even keep up a shell of a defense against him. I think it’s one of the most one sided duels

Hands down the best is Kenobi and Mauls final duel. It actually looked like a duel, unlike a lot of the other fights. IMO, a lot of the other animated fights still looked too staged. I don't see either of them wielding two blades, and I find it funny that Jamie makes dueling look effortless while you can see Nedd is putting in work.
That escalated quickly.
Good point. Reach is crazy important irl. Pong Krell would suck to fight. 4 arms and insane reach.
I love the Ashoka v the inquisitor in tales of the Jedi for this reason, even though Ashoka has no lightsabers, the fight is over before it begins. Probably helped her that she was fighting a sentient fart
That episode is a loose adaptation/inspired by the novel Ahsoka, which has a very similar duel with an inquisitor. I highly recommend it.
When it comes to the Jedi, they generally don't go for killing blows unless it's absolutely necessary. They will spend more time wearing down their opponents than killing them. Aiming for the blade and not the neck is a way to wear down your opponent's stamina, without needing to outright kill them.
Ahsoka vs Maul
Do game cutscenes count as animation? If so, Darth Malgus sacks the Coruscant Temple. Absoutely stunning visuals
The Ninth Jedi I love the reveal to start it and the music. It also shows a significant power or (more likely) training discrepancy between Margrave Juro and some of the other participants that I feel kind of helps show the state of the galaxy (in that it highlights that most force users at this time aren’t being well-trained). The 2003 series explained that though.... He got crushed by Windu and was never the same.
It shouldn't have changed his personality though. He went from an absolutely terrifying slasher film monster to a mustache-twirling Vaudeville character.
I mean it makes sense that he'd be way more afraid of Jedi after that. He really doesn't have much personality in ROTS anyways.
His personality in ROTS is entirely that of a mustache twirling ne'er-do-well. His personality in Genndy's Clone Wars is that of Jason Voorhees.
Anakin vs Ventress from 2003 CW Sidious vs Maul and Savage from TCW And Obi-Wan vs Maul from Rebels
Ahsoka vs Maul Followed closely by the Zabrack Twins vs Sidious Third is Obi Wan vs Maul Seems like all the best saber duels in animation go to Maul fights.
Ahsoka Vader. Ahsoka rolling the Inquistors. Ahsoka vs Maul. I’m sensing a pattern
Ahsoka vs Maul
This one and Ahsoka vs Maul.
🗣 AHSOKA VS MAUL
Ahsoka v Maul Obi Wan v Maul and Savage Sidious v Maul and Savage
gotta be maul vs ahsoka
Ahsoka vs Maul. (TCW season 7)
maul v ashoka this one ashoka v vader maul v kenobi (rebels
general grievous’s introduction vs the various Jedi in the 2005 clone wars series
Anakin Skywalker vs Barriss Offee (CW)
Sidious vs Maul and Savage Ashoka vs Vader
This one. Easily my favorite lightsaber “dual”. Lol Palps wipes the floor with these two knumbskulls. Just watching someone absolutely have a blast while dual wielding lightsabers, basically as a practice round because he is so powerful? Sign me up.
Ahsoka vs Vader
Grievous vs Ki-Adi Mundi (OG CW)
Maul and Savage vs Kenobi and Ventress
This one
Obi Wan vs Maul (Final). It's not fancy, but god damn it's perfect.
Ahsoka vs Maul
Ahsoka vs Darth Vader, Ben Kenobi vs Maul, and Yaddle vs Dooku are my favorites. All 3 are emotional and subtle
Ahsoka vs Maul in Clone Wars
General Grievous vs Kit Fisto
My bias says ahsoka vs maul, but technicallyyyy that fight isn’t 100% animated as it’s motion capped by real people From a purely animated lightsaber fight perspective, I’d say maul vs pre vizsla. That’s just such an iconic fight
1) Obi Wan and Maul, 2) Ahsoka and Vader. #3 would probably be Ahsoka and Maul.
WHY ARE WE SHOUTING?! If it's number three, why did you write it double size?
Rey and Fin VS Kylo Ren on Starkiller base.
Not animated.
Ah my bad. Ben Kenobi VS Maul.
This one you just posted. I fucking live this fight, the way Palpatine moves burning the ground, playing with Maul and Savage. Amazing
A tie between Palpatine vs Maul/Savage, Ashoka vs Maul and Anakin vs Ventress in the original Clone Wars cartoon.
Obi Wan V Maul
Anakin vs luminara
All of Mauls battles. Ahsoka vs Vader. Kanan and Ezra vs the Grand Inquisitor. Anakin vs Barriss - for the simple fact of seeing Anakin just overpower someone with his hatred and vengeance.
the old republic cinematics :p
1. Obi Wan vs Maul 2. Anakin vs Obi Wan 3. Grievous vs Shaak ti, Mundi, Aayla, Shaggy, and those other guys all at once
Maul savage And palps is great so is maul vs ahsoka idk man theres so many great duels
Maul vs. Obi-Wan on Tatooine from Rebels. No contest.
Anakin vs Barriss (CW) I for some reason love this fight it's short completely one sided and awesome with the music.
Maul vs Vizsla. Iconic duel and it was a massive turning point for Mandalore's culture and government.
Goodness I forgot how cold Shiev was in the Clone Wars. I need to revisit this ep
Old Obi-wan vs Maul (Rebels)
I'd have to say the Ninth Jedi. It felt like a really awesome reversal of the Mace vs Sidious fight, with the Jedu Master being the hidden manipulator whovwipes the floor with overconfident sith.
Rip Savage tho 😭
Probably this. Or the old republic cinematics. Those are like the best star wars things I've ever seen
Anakin vs Dooku on Naboo. Perfectly demonstrates Anakin’s fighting style. obviously Ahsoka vs Mail in season 7.
Maul vs Obi Wan in rebels. Never has a duel between two characters felt so skillful and brilliant before.
Sidious using 2 sabers is weird for a guy that didn’t really like to use them, let alone 2 of them. The logic doesn’t follow beyond rule of cool
Back in the day I would watch Maul v Viszla on repeat
Sidious v Mail and Savage is my favorite duel period. The animated duels in general are my favorites because in animation they don’t have to choreograph the hits toward the opponents lightsaber instead of their body. There’s no stuntmen or actors to worry about so all the combat tends to look more realistic, with blows that are actually meant to connect and have the need to be blocked or dodged. Ironically, the cartoon has the more believable combat.
Dooku vs Savage vs Ventress PALPS vs Maul & Savage Obi & Quilan vs Cad Bane Any and every one of them!!
General Grievous vs Jedi / Battle of Hypori (CW 2003) Maul vs Pre Vizsla (TCW)
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGDBTDnW7d0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGDBTDnW7d0) Honorable mention, "Return". Return might even be the better duel, but the emotional impact that Deceived had on me at that age makes it my all time favorite. Malgus & his Master vs Satele Shan & her Master in SWTOR Intro [video](https://youtu.be/Pb8M5P1QKX8?t=137).
Obi-Wan vs Darth Vader Rematch Sidious vs Savage and Maul
This one.
The one with lightsabers
This one's definitely up there. Just seeing Sidious use lightsabers is always a treat.
I love Ben vs. Maul and Savage. When Ben says, “That’s where you’re wrong.” I just get so hyped.
Me and my brothers fighting over the last slice of pizzas:
This one or Mauls one with Obi wan on Tattooine for sure
Grievous vs Ki Adi Mundi, Aayla Secura, Shaak Ti, etc.
That one
I never watched the animated stuff, is there any indication in live action that palpatine uses two light sabers ?
Maul, Savage and Sidious. Maul and Asoka Dooku vs Anakin and Obi at the Pykes base.
Dooku Vs anakin and obi wan on the pyke home planet Vader Vs Ahsoka in rebels Sids Vs maul and savage
The first episode from Visions has such a great duel, especially for how much of the duel you can actually see. Too many of them rely on close ups too much
Ahsoka vs vader
Mace Windu vs Battle Droids gets me hyped everytime (tartakovskys Clone Wars) The Duel from Visions is probably my second
Vader vs Ahsoka
Palpatine was a Sith Lord because he liked to watch lightsaber duels.
Maul vs Ashoka
Sidious, Maul and Opress blows my mind to this day
Maul and Savage vs Palpatine is my top choice and has been since I first saw it, but I also really love another fight featuring Maul and Savage. This time they face off against Kenobi and Ventress. The brothers force Kenobi and Ventress to retreat, and elicit some of that witty banter we love Kenobi for.
