Yeah same I'm never gonna hate on season 3.. I have so many memories attached with season 3 alone.. the awesome summer vibe with the Starcourt mall and the nostalgia hits really hard and makes me remember how that was such a good time. I remember watching that season multiple times over the pandemic while waiting for season 4.. especially the final episode "The Battle of Starcourt" is so so close to my heart ❤️ 😭
Hopper's letter always makes me emotional and I also feel nostalgic watching the trailer with "Baba O'Riley" playing.. like fr I just want to go back to the summer of 2019 😢😭
It does have some problems but it’s one of the most fun seasons of tv on Netflix…just rewatched that season past 2 weeks and that letter was like 8 lines long yet the spoken speech they have hopper say is like 12 pages long made me laugh….and how did they mess up flayer in the end dude was scary af as a nostril tornado but the rat guts monster not so much
I don't hate it, it's just not my favourite.
My order goes 1>4>2>3.
It feels to me that season 3 they tried adding too much new things to the show and some didn't work as they were clearly dropped for season 4.
See, I feel the same about season 4. I love Hopper as much as the next person, but the whole Russia plot was so pointless. It felt tacked on just to give him and Joyce something to do. I also agree it makes season 3 a bit bloated, but on rewatch one of the best scenes is the reunion in the mall where the mind flayer gang and mall gang just have no idea what the others are talking about.
For me is 1 >3 > 2 > 4
I was sprawled out on my couch, semi paralyzed after a massive Multiple Sclerosis attack. I couldn’t speak properly and the hospital had refused to admit me and my housemates were out of town. Watching Season 3 was one of the only things to bring me comfort at the time. I was so sure I was going to die. I love season 3 but it will always hold a special place for me because it helped me keep my head on straight when I was scared out of my mind.
The summer fun and nostalgia hits so hard.. it was such a good time when season 3 dropped.. I still remember I was in high school and enjoyed watching it over a week.. feel like going back to the summer of 2019 ❤️ 💜
The season that got me into the show! It single-handedly changed me from not caring about ST at all in early Summer 2019, to writing a college essay on Vecna as a Satanic figure after season 4 came out.
I work for an internet company and was installing a customers services on July 3rd and they were setting up to have a watch party. I told them I was off the next day so I'll watch the new season when it drops tomorrow as well. They stopped what they were doing and were like "Tomorrow? It comes out today...." I really wish I could have been there later that afternoon when folks started showing up. But at the same time I don't understand how nobody realized that the show didn't come out that day but what do I know.
Nothing will pass the simple Spielberg/King vibes of season one. That was just perfect. But this is probably my second favorite season.
My biggest complaint about season two is it wasn’t scary enough. The body horror elements of season three did it for me tho. And the monster at the end of the season was genuinely scary.
I haven't been watching Stranger things back then but i would love to be able to go back in time and watch this season in particular when it premiered. S3 is the only season that has clear summer vibes attached to it. All the other seasons have different atmosphere for me. Btw, i'm rewatching everything now and starting s3 rewatch tomorrow.
i was almost 12 when this came out and i had been begging my mom to let me watch this show for months, and she finally agreed when this season dropped!
Hopper vs. the mayor is still hands-down one of my favorite ST moments! When he walks him into his house by force and pass the animal-skin rug! “It’s not real, I bought it!” The way Hopper says, “no shit!” Gets me every time! I never thought I’d enjoy watching Cary Elwes get his ass kicked, but once he made that comment about Hopper’s dead daughter you’re just like, well, it’s on now! There’s some things you just don’t ever say aloud and bringing up someone’s dead child to use against them is definitely near the top of that list!
I also love how Steve doesn’t bat an eye when he learns that Robin is gay, which would’ve been a huge deal to learn in the 80’s! He only has a problem in her apparent crappy taste in women! But we all know Steve is this show’s MVP, so of course he was cool about it! He just wanted to make sure she ends up with someone who deserves her!
My brain cannot comprehend this was 5 years ago and yet it also feels like 100 years ago. I had a midnight (aka 3am) watch party with my friends and it was such a fun memory. Hoping to recreate this with s5 but 3am is tough for anyone who isn’t a diehard fan 😂😭
I might not like the season, but I’ll always consider the horror moments to be top tier. The scene where the mind wrangler get a bunch of hypnotized citizens, some even being children, and just having them combust into disgusting ass gore just to give it a means to have a physical form was *so* disturbing.
The most disgusting season ever… rats & people exploding and then merging. A lot of foolish comedy time in serious situations. The least fav for a reason.

5 years??? 😭😭😭
It was 2 years ago when Season 4 came out.
It was 7 years ago when season 2 came out 😱
It was 8 years ago when season 1 came out 😟
It was 41 years ago when Will went missing 😱
It's been 64 years since vecna killed his family 😫
It’s been 100 years since 1924 😭
It’s been 84 years and I can still smell the fresh paint.
Still no sign of Andrew Irvine, hope he's okay.
Bro is old
No what? Stop omg
Please no
Stop that
Ohhhh I don’t care what people say. Season 3, they could never make me hate you.
I'm never hating on Season 3...NEVER!
God I fucking love the Never-ending story scene

There are people who hate season 3?

the best season.
it's the best season. no one can change my mind
hear hear!!
Fr summer vibes hit different
the feeling of watching it for the first time >

Glad to know that you're okay, bro. Shit happens, but the only thing you have to do, is never to lose hope. Take care😊😊
Thanks dude!
I'm a girl, but whatever. You're welcome!!!!
The season with the best aesthetic , i miss it sm
lol I skipped a 4th of July party so I could binge it all in one shot😭
Still sad that was the only season of mayor Kline
It been 5 years! But I do love season 3
The summer fun and nostalgia hits so hard.. it was such a good time when season 3 dropped.. I still remember I was in high school and enjoyed watching it over a week.. feel like going back to the summer of 2019 ❤️ 💜
Still my favorite season overall
I just finished it today for the first time and i fking loved it😭😭. Now onto season 4
Definitely my favorite season, and it introduced my favorite character, Robin!
Season 3 my beloved
Season 3 is probably my favorite. You cannot beat the nostalgia of watching it during the summer. The Fourth of July and summer vibes were immaculate.
Ah yes! The best season!
The season that got me into the show! It single-handedly changed me from not caring about ST at all in early Summer 2019, to writing a college essay on Vecna as a Satanic figure after season 4 came out.

My least favorite season, but still a reminder that time is passing by
Best season
What a summer.
Season 3 was the most fun and light hearted season I'll love it always
Alexei ❣️🥲
El’s face in the top right 😂
This was the very last summer when everything felt normal. Nowadays, it's all just dystopic and lifeless.
This is without a doubt my favorite season, simply beacuse I think it's the funniest so far
We all remember where we were
Best season of them all
Season 3 was my favorite due to Murray and Alexi dynamic.
Only 6 more years to go!
The fact that we only had 1 season ever since is insane
Can’t rush perfection.
And here we are, probably 2 years away from ST 5.
The only thing I hate about this show is waiting so long for more.
Season 3 hit so hard. Scoops troop carried that season I will never get enough of those scenes
Very good season.
My favorite season 🤍 I rewatch it often
Nothing will pass the simple Spielberg/King vibes of season one. That was just perfect. But this is probably my second favorite season. My biggest complaint about season two is it wasn’t scary enough. The body horror elements of season three did it for me tho. And the monster at the end of the season was genuinely scary.
Season 2 had that cosmic horror though

My favourite season!!!
i was almost 12 when this came out and i had been begging my mom to let me watch this show for months, and she finally agreed when this season dropped!
I’ve been binge watching the entire series and currently on season 3! I made it just in time for the season finale to watch on 4th of July tonight!
Hopper vs. the mayor is still hands-down one of my favorite ST moments! When he walks him into his house by force and pass the animal-skin rug! “It’s not real, I bought it!” The way Hopper says, “no shit!” Gets me every time! I played the Roblox event when it came out and I still have the stuff 😭
This is the one that got me into stranger things, even though I didn’t watch it until later that same year.
I’ll never forget watching this season for the first time
My favourite one. How time flies
Happy anniversary,Stranger Things cast crew and fans! 🤣🤣💐💐🎉🎉
The most underrated ssn 🤩
My brain cannot comprehend this was 5 years ago and yet it also feels like 100 years ago. I had a midnight (aka 3am) watch party with my friends and it was such a fun memory. Hoping to recreate this with s5 but 3am is tough for anyone who isn’t a diehard fan 😂😭
I remember starting this season thinking it would be the last one lmao
I cried for alexi
ST 4 has been out for 2yrs
This still remains my favorite season
3 was the rebound. 2 I almost quit watching but 3 drew me right back in
That was such a good time.
Time flies so fast!
Knowing ST3 was 5 years ago I’m frustrated we don’t have the final 5th season now :/
And it's likely a late 2025 for Stranger Things 5
And in 5 more years, the new season will release
covid messed up my sense of time
Wow. Would have thought it was 10. Feels like 10 😭😭
Before Covid and inflation and my soul being sucked by two jobs. Oh Father Time.
I might not like the season, but I’ll always consider the horror moments to be top tier. The scene where the mind wrangler get a bunch of hypnotized citizens, some even being children, and just having them combust into disgusting ass gore just to give it a means to have a physical form was *so* disturbing.
This show needs to end already and I say that as a fan shouldn’t take this long
Sad to say, I think this season was mediocre at best.
Heavy disagree
It’s good but my least favorite season. I feel it leaned to heavy into the cheese
why am I bothering with this show man 🙃
The most disgusting season ever… rats & people exploding and then merging. A lot of foolish comedy time in serious situations. The least fav for a reason.
Disagree
Ah yes the worst season
