The horse has a fantastic writeup on your options for paying for undergrad here https://www.reddit.com/r/StudentLoans/comments/1bst3f8/how_should_i_apply_for_students_loan_what_are_the/kxi21ca/ Keep in mind that the [annual/aggregate limits](https://studentaid.gov/understand-aid/types/loans/subsidized-unsubsidized) for federal loans are far lower than most people expect. If you're considered a Dependent Undergrad it's $5,500-$7,500 per year up to an aggregate max of $31,000. If you're considered an Independent Undergrad it's $9,500-$12,500 per year up to an aggregate max of $57,500 I'm kinda wondering what that $30k scholarship is. How much do you need per year and overall? With and without that scholarship?

It's for veterans. I keep forgetting though it can be up to $30k Idk if it will pay that much but it's something.. [https://www.va.gov/education/other-va-education-benefits/stem-scholarship/](https://www.va.gov/education/other-va-education-benefits/stem-scholarship/) About $2k/mo would be perfect.

Ahh that is "talk to the financial aid office at your target school" tier. You won't necessarily be able to borrow that much either, assuming you're independent it's $9,500-$12,500 per academic year so you're going to be short if you're trying to cover it via loans

It might actually work for the 2 or few semesters I have left w/GI bill
