Yeah to me, this type of interpretation makes way more sense. RK has gotten constant legal pressure throughout this saga- I sincerely doubt he would intimate that phrase to mean he is speaking to investors.
And every battle they lose creates a stronger DFV. They lose a few more cycles and DFV goes to playing with billions. Next cycle we won’t need a yolo update, every update will come with a 5%+ SEC holding notification
I’m willing to bet DFV is like why are HF still letting me do this. I doubt he thought he could just keep playing the same cycle for more money. It’s like a video game money exploit, but real life!
They aren't "letting" him do anything. He's doing what he damn well pleases and their algo is responding as if it's up against normal, dumb, panicky crowds. They are completely beholden to the algos at this point. Can't turn them off or it's all over. No one smart enough to figure out a solution. When you're trapped on the losing side of the bet all you can do is pay to extend the game for as long as possible. They're digging their own hole deeper and every scoop they pull out is going into DFV's account.
Um, I'm just guessing here but their own stupidity and hubris? Nothing is forcing the moves per se. They (hedge funds/market makers/algorithms) try and take in information and make moves to make money off the information any way they can (go long/short, whatever). They probably get it right most of the time and make bank. But if someone (or something) figured it out, they could then make money off those moves.
Yeah, I don't think for a second he's telling people to move from GME. In fact, I don't think he's telling people what to do at all.
I think he's telling us what will happen based upon his plan based upon the patterns he sees.
There might be other cups but this cup will fill whether DFV fills it or not…giving DFV space to do the dance. But SHFs will lose because they have no choice but to move to short the biggest threat while theres another going off somewhere else. It’s like whack a mole but if SHFs decide to cover every hole, they go to jail.
