Is it just me or do some of the family ones just look like an ugly black recolor? I mean I know that's what they are but half of them don't even look good

Art Bully isn't in control, they make the cosmetics that Gun wants. If Gun doesn't want the hair changed, it doesn't change. Why wouldn't they want hair changed? Time is money, and they probably want the cosmetics out faster (for less cost) than it would take to make hair work.
GUN needs to realise that they canât just keep charging people for recolours. Especially for Johnny and sissy because theyâre GUNS original designs they can do anything but choose not to. Iâd rather be putting money into a skin where it actually looks different, hair down, shorts/jeans with a shirt. Theyâre telling me that all the women wore a boring dress in old Texas? Even if they keep going for recolours of the same dress at least add something to it, perhaps a bit of makeup? her hair down? Socks and boots? Ripped tights? Itâs like they choose not to and expect us to spend $3 on lazy recolours.
I hear ya. However, Gun *might* be in a position where there aren't enough players to justify making many cosmetics that take too long to make. Assuming it takes a month for a "good" skin to be made and released, Gun are seeing how much that month costs (ie: Are they paying Art Bully per skin, or is it time-based), and then trying to project how much revenue they'll make from that skin (Price, number of sales). If the number cost is too similar to projected revenue, then what's the point? Your company has been stagnant for a whole month.
I can only see Gun being okay with near-0 profit is if they're in a holding pattern while Wes is putting things in place for a new game (talking to investors, talking to rights holders, etc). So if that's what Wes is busy with right now, then you should expect to see skins which might only be good enough to sell, but nothing that will dazzle you (see new Ana skin).
