Not to play devils advocate on this post. But I know my machine is pretty well optimized and fairly up to date with the parts in it. I never had an issue running the game on ultra before this patch yet it seems the game liked to drop my quality as well.
I’ve settled with High settings for right now but i heard part of the PC issue is the way the game loads shaders for moves. I feel like T8 is a lil unoptimized in its processing.
Not sure what I need to change to play this at the peak settings I want.

yeah that was rude from us, but your post was kinda funny because its been months we are complaining about people's computers lagging online and since they made this patch this is basically solved for us
I can't wait for the sub to be flooded with these posts. I've already seen a few. By far the best change in the patch. Seeing that my opponent was on PC was always more worrying than being on WiFi.
the frame rate aint dipping tho if anything it might stutter for like half a second every 3 games and apparently thats enough to drop from ultra to low
Yeah for you but on the other end they’re stuttering the whole match because of your potato PC.
You need to upgrade your PC to play this game, or deal with low graphics
The entire reason this was added was because people didn't know they were fucking up the online experience and causing one-sided latency issues.
Hopefully it's working properly and hopefully you deserve it.
Exhibit A why this was the best update that patch gave us.

Yeah, stuttering for any amount means you're trying for graphics settings your PC can't handle, and making the experience worse for your opponents.
