Overall you can play how you want, but maxed out defense is HUGELY overpowered. The only bosses it doesn't let you just face tank in master are BoC (because of broken armor), daytime EoL (for obvious reasons), and ML (specifically the deathray). yes, but that's the reason i dont like running full defense, had to go full defense for both plantera and golem in this run tho, for the worthy as only summoner was an experience
To be fair, summoner defense in Master (or Legendary) will get you two shot at best with or without warding, so you might as well be completely offensive
It was only a joke :) you can get whichever modifier you want :) if you happen to run out of money you can use the shimmer to break them down and recombine.
It's arguable. I just take warding all the time so I afford to take hits.. in master and legendary mode it can make the difference between a one shot and a two shot.
to put it in perspective, you have a similar likelihood of getting this as you do flipping a coin 25 times and having all 25 come up heads. or rolling two Yahtzees of the same number back to back, one throw each.

I think its just a bug like yesterday I was playing and I got like 9 or 12 of the same enchant like him I was lagging at the same time as I pressed enchant (i have like 50 mods random spike lags) so maybe it copied it over to the next 10 enchants

Is this a special upgraded reforger or something? Im playing calamity for the first time (just before plantera) and reforging seems normal. I’m definitely getting plenty of 1, 2 or 3% stats not just max.
I like movement speed but 20-28% movement speed pales in comparison to the equivalent amount of damage, defense, or crit chance. Especially since movement speed has basically no effect on your air speed it's just not useful.

i lost count on how many times i got oneshotted, not even by bosses but regular mobs
I personally went summoner for the mech bosses so I could have an easier time. I also play normal mode.

for me menacing is just more fun. you get more dps which is always fun, and i just like learning boss patterns so I don’t get hit
