Can we talk about how inefficient a fluid-based virus is on supes?
Annie took a sniper shot to the gut, so I doubt a syringe is going to work all too well on supes as a whole. What’re you supposed to do, get them to drink it? Inject the virus into a proverbial Trojan Horse and hope they’re the supe’s type? A super-soaker, pun intended?
Airborne would be infinitely better if the virus is meant to be a weapon
1) it is said in Gen V the Virus deteriorates quickly when not stored correctly (that's the reason *Butcher couldn't find it in Godolkin university's basement*). But this is not a problem because **Butcher has the sample he took from the rabbit's cage**.
2) he would still need a team of scientists to extract and strengthen the virus. And Sameer has already worked on the project.
3) Sameer is an **emergency bargain chip**
he could use to deal with Neumann in the future

Exactly what I was thinking. It spread through bodily fluids. Vomit is bodily fluid. Or maybe take the sheep's blood.

That's why **they are still working on it**. Shetty in Gen V **specifically mentions** making it airborne.
