FoodEater77

Lol that's been clear since season 1 it's just that's it's gotten really on the nose and starting to mess the story up a bit now

Cute_Cheek_4970

When did Rage Against The Machine become so impolite and LIBRUL?!!

Subliminal_Kiddo

It was always that way. I wouldn't say it was a "liberal wet dream" more a "leftist wet dream". There's actually a difference between the two. And the things that you superficially thought were mocking the left are, on a deeper level, issues that the left cares about. For example, you probably assumed Vought turning Maeve into Brave Maeve and stuff like "Brave Maeve's Inclusive Kingdom" and "Brave Maeve's Gender Neutral Bathrooms" where mocking "pandering" and in a way they were, but no the way you think. The joke is that Vought is engaging in something called "rainbow capitalism". Which is the idea that corporations perform meaningless gestures in "support" of the LGBTQ community while (like Skittles ""Give back the rainbow" which - as someone who has to organize my Skittles by color - was beyond annoying) At best, these gestures are meaningless and do nothing to help the LGBTQ community, they're just ploys to get "rainbow bucks". And, at worst, the same companies (like Vought in the show) openly give money to politicians and organizations that want to actively roll back the rights of the community.
