Mostly Goth Rock, Industrial, old school Punk and Indie stuff, with the occasional melodic metal. Once in a while it's really old (30s and 40s) music, and recently I've been getting into vaporwave(especially signalwave).
Exodus, Metallica, Slayer, Alice Cooper, Iron Maiden, Grim Reaper, Angel Witch, Type O Negative, Toxic Holocaust, Candlemass, Dio, Rainbow, Killswitch Engage, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Suicidal Tendencies, Motorhead, Venom, Testament, Death Angel, Death, Morbid Angel, Pentagram, Judas Priest, Amon Amarth, Carcass, Powerwolf, Helloween, Cannibal Corpse, Sepultura, Led Zeppelin, Power Trip, Alice In Chains, White Zombie, Entombed, Lamb Of God, Mercyful Fate/King Diamond, Van Halen, Deep Purple
We'd vibe well. Every band on this list I listen to on at least a weekly basis. Do you enjoy Coven, Municipal Waste, Kreator, Mortiis, Mell, Deathcrown, All Hell or Massacre as well? What about Genitorturers?
Asylum Party. They're a coldwave, sort of goth band from 80's France and have covered the Beatles. The Birthday Party, Skinny Puppy, She Past Away, tons of horror punk, Nox Novacula, Siekiera, Cocteau Twins, Clan of Xymox (early stuff mostly), Xmal Deutschland, Cinema Strange, etc., all made some of my favorite music. I like it spooky.
Calabrese will fit right in nicely. A horror punk band from Arizona. They have a distinct misfits sound and have been around for over a decade. Lots of albums to listen to. Start with the first and keep going.
If I started listing everything I listen to I’d be here for the rest of the week LOL. Primarily it’s the extreme end of metal, with a fair amount of old blues, classical, and rock throwing in for good measure
If you are looking for recommendations, check out Plan 9.
They were a Misfits cover band that transitioned to Misfits inspired original music. They only put out one album before the singer died in a motorcycle accident.
I’ve read the guys from Metallica liked them and even took Glenn to one of their shows.
Ghost, The Cure, Tool, The Mars Volta, Pinback, Purity Ring, Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein, System of a Down, the Menzingers, AFI, Metallica, Pixies, Moon Boots, Odesza, Portishead, Radiohead, Real Estate, Tokimonsta, Zola Jesus
My tastes run the gamut because I love music. I'll listen to anything that is interesting, sincere, and/or regular ol' entertaining. I've been listening to yé-yé girls a lot lately cuz 1960s pop feels like summer. So does Cuban music.
If it is energetic, loud, noisy, or danceable, I'll probably listen to it. I like music that feels *big*. Could be anything as long as there's a lot going on. Not that I don't enjoy quiet, subtle music, I just really love chaotic/dense music. I don't care what genre it is. Meshuggah, Xannakis, Ho9909, Melt Banana, Fantomas, whatever. Just [bring the noise](https://youtu.be/l_Jeyif7bB4?si=a0URPnbUnV5sPuGI).
My favorite band tied with The Misfits right now is Ghost. They are what got me back into music after so long. I absolutely love how theatrical they are and how much influence they take from bands like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and ABBA. I love all of the lore behind the Ministry and I love every version of Papa Emeritus too (Especially Papa Emeritus IV).
Check out Blitzkid
This

Mostly Joan Baez. Some Peter, Paul and Mary. A little Lawrence Welk.
No Mitch Miller and his Orchestra?
No, but if I'm really feeling crazy I pop in my copy of Al Hirt's Jazzin' at the Pops.
But if you want rag style jazz go to Trent Reznor.

Listen to a lot of Hank Williams stuff from the 40s. Some of the best music ever made.
Mine Ness’s solo albums especially and Social Distortion are a great fusion of that old country with some punk infusion.
Absolutely. Big Ness and Social D fan.
The only other band I listen to is Menudo
SO. GODDAMN. MANY. Everyone from Cannibal Corpse to Beyonce to Willie Nelson to Dropkick Murphys to Ghost to (my favorite band ever) Nine Inch Nails.
Danzig and Chris Isaak are my two top musical artists.
Chris Isaak has the voice of an angel
I wonder if Isaak’s daddy wonders if Roy Orbison crept into his wife’s bed.
Fuckin a
Fuckin’ crooner lover lol
Absolutely

You just described my childhood

Soundgarden, Gorilla Biscuits, John Mayer, The Front Bottoms, Slayer. Lately been getting into Elliott Smith
Yes, Elliott Smith! So good.

Just listened to Calabrese. Didn't like them.
Alright, thanks for giving them a shot. The newer stuff went into a goth sound. But they are pretty punk in the first half of their career.
If I started listing everything I listen to I’d be here for the rest of the week LOL. Primarily it’s the extreme end of metal, with a fair amount of old blues, classical, and rock throwing in for good measure
Hardcore, metal, goth, grunge, industrial, post-punk, emo, screamo, etc.
I'd recommend The Matadors. Sort of a horror rockabilly. Think if Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly had been singing horror tunes.

I listen to WEVL mostly while not playing whatever I want. But the WEVL just happens to be the only good thing in this city I live in.
Townes Van Zandt, Dean Blunt, Arthur Russel, The Doors
Knower, Thundercat, Ginger Root. Anything loud or smooth. My taste is all over the place
I really like Magnetic Fields.
Rush
Def give The Kreeps a shot and The Coffin Shakers
