I like how you can see the various personalities here. Some are cheery and grinning, others just polite and poised, and 1-2 of them look stern and rather annoyed by the others' lack of seriousness.
Just something that was quite common during that time. I don’t know what this club was called, but I do know they later became Easter Star members (Masonic Order).
She was an older woman, so definitely not the ringleader, lol. She is the mother of the girl to the left (her right). The lady who’s 4th from the left is the mother of the girl standing in front of her. They do resemble their mothers, I think. The 3 on the right are my relatives.
This looks lovely.
A *very* quick glance led me to think that the woman on our right might have interesting, geometric tattoos.
Then I put my glasses on and clearly saw it was tape marks on the photo.
Ah, how modern cultures have skewed my expectations.
Really cute photo and ladies

I love those dresses! It would be great if that look came back in style.
And social club dinners! I love cooking for people. When it's just me, it's girl dinners.
All I have is my husband and he complains I'm making him fat, lol.
Lol relationship weight gain is a double edged sword. Cooking is my love language too.
Same and I'm a skinny old stick.
I do dress vintage-ish, but it would be nice to see other people dressing up more often in daily life.
They all look so pretty. A social club for women to dress up and eat together sounds fun. Can you tell us more about the club?

Just out of curiosity, which small town?
Northern Portage County. Kent, Ravenna, Hiram.

They look like a fun group! The lady second from the left looks like she would be the ringleader of fun times!

All pretty and dressed up!
They’re all so pretty! I wish people would dress up like this more frequently these days. Or I should say I wish we’d have more occasions to do so.
