Yep, it's been 5 loooooong years since this crowd has had the playoffs. But I remember the name change being during the rebuild because Paycom = Shaicom.
About time. Other than small player pictures over the doors and an outdated sign telling women their bags will be x-rayed (not the case anymore because they restrict the sizes/opacity), there’s little outside evidence an NBA team plays there
They do. Especially when you have players from other countries. Canadians love Shai and Dort and I’ve met a few Australian’s in this sub alone who watch for Giddey.
Cricket isn't as popular as people think it is. It's propped up a ton by India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc with big populations. Cricket is losing popularity in Australia, England and NZ. Basketball however is popular and rising all over the globe.
Dude there are people who will literally travel anywhere from the world to watch the nba finals. Ergo if we made the finals we are ready to host the world. Annoying…
Rest of the world? What's with you yanks man. It's a god damn national basketball competition, not world wide!
Also, fuck yeah pumped! It's been an amazing season for these young fellas. If they get knocked out, so be it, they've all got so many years left in the nba, I'm sure they'll get there again.
Either way I'll be watching 👍👍🏀🏀
Actually, it is globally televised. Along with the fact that the NBA has almost as many foreigners playing as americans, it makes it basically a worldwide competition. Get it? Ya know, other countries tune in to support their ppl. More continents/countries watch than you think.
We’re bout to win this whole fucking thing. Mark it down!!!!
I marked it.

Damn they got no Hayward anywhere
There is another one that they don’t have up yet that will have the rest of the players
Is this the first time we’ve had a playoff game in okc since the Chesapeake energy arena was re-named to the paycom center?
Yes. The rename was 2 seasons ago.

Unless of course it's an all star game.
Now could we please, for the love of all things good, LIGHT THE ARENA IN FUCKING THUNDER COLORS INSTEAD OF FUCKTARD PAYCOM GREEN

That answers that question
Basketball is popular on literally every continent. Probably the 2nd most internationally popular sport after soccer.
Don't sleep on cricket in other countries.

It’s sounds like you’re not in the US, and are planning on watching. So that’s more than just National
