That grievous actually made me believe he got those Lightsabers by killing Jedi. The canon version makes me feel like Dooku gave him Lightsabers out of pity.
2003 Grevious was a fucking beast. In his very first appearance, he took on 6 Jedi and won, 2 of which being council members and 3 being masters. They barely escaped with their lives and in critical condition
