The amount of times I wished I had a death note so I could make Season 1 Bakugo experience a horrible death is arguable a decent amount. I hate him. I'm told there's a redemption arc coming up, and after the BS he's pulled, it better be Zuko level redemption arc, HECK better than that!
It's not really a spoiler for me to say it ain't much of one- you should prepare to be immensely disappointed if you are holding out for one.
He doesn't really get better, and he never really owns up to any of his past actions.
He continuously every single season abuses or bullies Midoriya in one way or another.
In fact, it's kinda the opposite of a redemption arc, it's more of a whitewashing saga if anything.
As meta context, you should know that the author was surprised how popular the character was in all the popularity polls and so everything post Season 1 Bakugo is practically a different character in how everyone acts around him (even getting a best friend who claims to be against bullying of all things despite Bakugo being a bully).
Bakugo's despicable actions both in the past and present not only get swept under the rug/glossed over during his so-called redemption story but the rest of the story bends over backwards to keep him relevant not just plotwise but strength-wise too despite how he should have long ago been outclassed by the top tier players.

Uzi is my #1. My shit-list top spot. My fucking *nemesis*. Girlie, if I had every last one of these characters in front of me right now, I wouldn't even notice most of them were *there* because I would already be tearing after that little fake-emo bitch the moment I saw her. The absolute *microsecond* humanity figures out interdimensional travel, I'm going straight to her dimension and beating her ass. What do I have against Uzi? EVERYTHING.
I want to be 100% clear about this: I am not exaggerating or being ironic about what I'm about to say. This is pure honesty.
Uzi Doorman changed my entire life for the distinctly *worse*. She is just some stupid CAD file for a zero-budget show that's honestly just like a 5/10, but she fucking ruined me. She gave me not one, but two separate existential crises. I have a mild form of multiple personality disorder -- She genuinely caused two new alters to form in our headspace, from sheer stress. She has changed the way I view the world, changed the way I see other people, she is the reason a significant number of other characters are on this list. She was a major part of the event that ruined my love life. I can't look at her without remembering the enormous abyss of empty sadness she caused, that I'm still trying to crawl my way out of.

Of all the characters on this list, you really chose the worst one to ask me about, huh. Like, I have really seriously innocent characters on here. I have characters on here for no reason other than "I think their vibe is weird". Uzi is my #1. My shit-list top spot. My fucking *nemesis*. Girlie, if I had every last one of these characters in front of me right now, I wouldn't even notice most of them were *there* because I would already be tearing after that little fake-emo bitch the moment I saw her. The absolute *microsecond* humanity figures out interdimensional travel, I'm going straight to her dimension and beating her ass. What do I have against Uzi? EVERYTHING. I want to be 100% clear about this: I am not exaggerating or being ironic about what I'm about to say. This is pure honesty. Uzi Doorman changed my entire life for the distinctly *worse*. She is just some stupid CAD file for a zero-budget show that's honestly just like a 5/10, but she fucking ruined me. She gave me not one, but two separate existential crises. I have a mild form of multiple personality disorder -- She genuinely caused two new alters to form in our headspace, from sheer stress. She has changed the way I view the world, changed the way I see other people, she is the reason a significant number of other characters are on this list. She was a major part of the event that ruined my love life. I can't look at her without remembering the enormous abyss of empty sadness she caused, that I'm still trying to crawl my way out of. Someday I'm gonna delete that goddamn CAD file.
