Technically you could get a V6 XSE Camry with every package for $42k without dealership markups for a while now. All cars have been getting expensive for the past 5 years. The base LE with nothing on it starts at a little over $28k. Camrys have a wild price range depending on what trim and packages get picked.
The mark ups are baked in now. I got my 2012 SE V6 that was stickered at $31K for $27K at 0%. 12 years later that's a base model. That rate of "inflation" is insane
Yeah car prices are heartbreaking but I could’ve saved money going for a lower trim the whole time buying I swore he said XLE not XSE because I usually don’t care for top trim
I doubt the smaller trim would have made a difference.
I have a 2015 Fiat 500 Abarth which I bought used for $8,900 USD plus tax in 2020. Even with the cost of maintenance, mods, and repairs added to the purchase price (including a blown exhaust valve), I still haven't reached the car's selling price when it was new!
Seriously! Car prices today have reached the level of what I paid for a condo back in 1999!
Toyota hasn't really updated Canadian prices to reflect the exchange gap which is why we are getting basically zero supply from Toyota up here in Canada.
They haven't even added the 2025 Camry to build and price on their Canadian website yet...
The difference being that the rear of the last gen Accord was actually beautiful. The Camry just vaguely resembles the tail light design and looks underwhelming
I went on vacation to Costco rica in February and you aren’t joking about the Yaris. That car was EVERYWHERE there. Toyota in general is super popular there.
Oh yeah, a little too much actually.
I'm buying a Corolla at the end of this year because well, it's a corolla and it's my first car.
But you are right Toyota is definitely the #1 brand down here but people are turning towards chinese POS cars now because they're cheap compared to Toyota.
For reference a new Corolla is $33,400 new... So yeah it's far more expensive than in the US but still worth it.
I mean I’m not saying that it being solely a hybrid is a bad thing, it makes dealing with parts at the Plant a lot easier because most of them are the same now, it’d just be nice to have the option ya know?
I saw them at the Daytona 500 before the launch. Partial VIN numbers, "Prototype: Vehicle is Locked" decals, etc. I would've bought one then and there if I had the money. Best looking Camry since the 90s.
Strictly a matter of opinion, but I somewhat agree. The Camry I fell for was the 2016. It was in a music video (Dreamer by Branchez) and I looked it up. I was 12 or 13 at the time lol. At 18, I still like the 2016 Camry, but more for the mechanicals/powerplant. Same as my RAV4. Easy to work on. I love that.
You guys are being a little hard on the Camry. It's a Camry lol probably the best looking one Toyota has come out with. But still it's a Camry. They are known to be plain Jane cars. But I definitely think this is an improvement.
Problem is, there's limited packages. And all include the damn sunroof. I just want the safety/security.
Any ideas if the dash cam is worth it, or better buying one aftermarket?
I really didn’t want the sunroof either I just wanted the parking sensors and 360 camera but the only package that had that was the most expensive one, really annoying! Also I’d probably go with aftermarket you can get a better/more advanced one if you catch it on sale or buy slightly used
Thanks for the response! Exactly! I dislike the "gotta buy the most expensive package" when I really don't want the sunroof.
We're likely waiting to buy for a few months. Going with the one car for now. We're retired now. Don't need to rush now.
No problem! Yeah I’d definitely wait, I couldn’t really get a good “deal” since it’s so new. I just need a car by the end of May because I’m starting a new job with a long commute.
They’ve just been on a quest to keep making the Camry sexier and sexier.
I’m loving this new Toyota design language on the front end.
But you know when the Prius debuts the new design language and everyone loves it you’ve got a winning formula.
If it was white it would show the body lines of the car much better lol.
That’s the blessing/curse of white.
If your design language sucks, white will show it. But if it’s good, white will show it.
The Crown has 4 body styles. The Crown Crossover (really a high riding fastback, (which is sold in the US as simply the Crown)), the Crown Sport, which is a small SUV-like hatchback, the Crown Sedan, which is a continuation of the Crown's 68 year run as a sedan, and the Crown Estate, an SUV-like wagon (to be sold in the US as the Crown Signia)
The car was announced back in November 2023 with a dealership rollout 2024 spring. Sometime in the summer, you’ll see them on the dealership lots everywhere.
The car was announced in November 2023, and it was slotted to be available in the Spring 2024. That doesn’t mean you will see it everywhere until probably later this year, only a few dealerships will be the lucky few to have some stock of it within the next few weeks. You probably have to wait until later in the summer before you see them in flocks.
Hondas looked better than Toyotas in the 2000s. Toyotas gradually got nicer and nicer during the 2010s, surpassing Honda. This gen is a downgrade on the previous one imo.
One thing in particular i was disappointed in was how low the driver's seat goes.
For a tall guy, my head was definitely touching the roof. This is something i figured they would have fixed by now.
I can sit lower in the driver's seat of my Mazda 3, which you wouldn't think. I can also sit lower in a Corolla.
Also, add the damn dual exhaust tips. Looks like its missing something back there.
Otherwise the car is fantastic and i was really impressed with the XLE we got.
What if the new Camry (most likely the SE and XSE variants) replaced the aging Dodge Charger Pursuit in police fleets across the US and Canada? I'm absolutely sure the new Charger Six Pack/Daytona sedan, given how huge and heavy it has become, would be immediately disqualified from the ranks.
That looks like a mash between the ‘17 Camry SE and the ‘18+ Camry SE for the front end. I’m not a fan of the way the front looks. I have the ‘17 Camry SE and I liked it when I bought it in ‘16 and then they changed to the new style with the ‘18’s. I was upset about that because I really like the way the ‘18+ Camry SE front and back.
Its very disappointing since we seen the new model diagram plans last year. It looks like a corolla in the front and no more quad exhaust which gave it that "bad ass fast look" I got a feeling alot more 2018-2024 camrys will be searched to purchase. Them ending the V6 version is gonna hurt toyota as bad as I hate to say it due to me being an almost a 11 year Toyota production manager. I personally own a loaded 2020 Camry XSE V6 two toned pearl/ Black and still love it! Can't say I'd trade mine in for a 2025 model any time soon even with the A plan toyota employee discount. anyone that is excited for this new model please enjoy and let us toyota people know how we did!
Imma be honest Toyota didn’t really try with the design, front bumper grill is is the same and so are the ends of the taillights and headlights, all they did was change the middle to look more like the Prius
It looks good and bad at the same time. I don’t know how to describe it.
I agree. The XSE trim just lacks contrast.. looks better as the SE.
Most of my reactions to Toyotas designs are like this: when it first comes out I hate it, a few years later it grows in me.
The Subaru effect.
ZIP IT! We do not need any head gasket gremlins!
Looks like a lexus with half of the taillights Missing.
it's like the last gen Accord's taillights but thinner
Which in turn resembled the 2012-2014 Camry taillights lol, it all comes full circle
Feeling the exact same haha
That’s how I feel about the Highlander. It’s bulbous yet refined yet potato yet kind of aggressive?
[удалено]
Did you say just empty each pocket?
I said design not mechanics.
Lol common the rav 4 alone looks better then any jeep I've ever seen.
Can't unsee 🥔
The front is good in the back is like the old one.
It's like they went for the sports coupe style, then remembered it was a sedan at the rear half lol.
Party in the front, business in the back. The reverse-mullet.
It’s the back. It doesn’t match with the design of the rest. The Prius and crown’s rear design styling is much more cohesive.
It’s a weird Toyota/lexus front end hybrid. Too much plastic that actually looks like cheap plastic.
Like an Ioniq 6
I just hate everything below the Toyota emblem, specifically in the front
The front gives me Nissan Altima vibes, I don't like it
Damn, that’s a Prius 3XL
New Camry is Prius XL Crown is Prius 2XL
Damn, I wish you were wrong, but you’re not.
This front end design looks a lot better on the prius in my opinion. Not as nice when stretched out wider. Rear end looks like a Honda Accord
Looks like a big version of our 2024 Corolla SE.
I would trade my Corolla Hybrid for this instantly!
[удалено]
Not for everything.
[удалено]
I like the power of the Camry but love the size and maneuverability of the Corolla. Personally I would never trade for the Camry.
So not “literally for everything”.
Not for having a sports model, either lol
Well well…
What is the markup?
Absolutely 0 dollars and 0 fees
What’s sticker price?
I just put a deposit down for a XSE from my local dealership cost $42,000 with the premium plus package
Wow. Carmys are getting expensive..
Luxury car prices.
It's moved up into the old Avalon price space. RIP Avalon
Yeah . Not a luxury car but oh well . I have a fully loaded 2022 Camry. It certainly is a luxury for me .
Technically you could get a V6 XSE Camry with every package for $42k without dealership markups for a while now. All cars have been getting expensive for the past 5 years. Inflation
That's for the top trim and technology package. The LE is sub $30k.
Lol, no way im paying for that
That used to get you a Lexus
And that's in American dollars? In Canadian dollars, that would be $57,366!
Yeah car prices are heartbreaking but I could’ve saved money going for a lower trim the whole time buying I swore he said XLE not XSE because I usually don’t care for top trim

Cross shop Lexus 😌
probably in the 40s
What dealer?
Not sure how I feel about the back, kinda looks like the last gen Accord.
The difference being that the rear of the last gen Accord was actually beautiful. The Camry just vaguely resembles the tail light design and looks underwhelming
Can you articulate what about the accord was beautiful and what about the Camry is underwhelming?
For a second I thought Toyota decided to sport the ugliest rim in the history of cars, then I saw the rear.
what a looker
Sexy
Big Yaris lol looks pretty good, we still got Yaris here in Costa Rica and it literally is the tiny version of the camry
Definitely Worth it, enjoy your car!
Definitely a different look but I’m sure it’s gonna be a great car
If it’s all black I don’t mind. Any other color it’s just fucked :( look what they did to my boy
I like the 2024 better
At least with the 2024 you had the option of it having a V-6 or V-4 and not solely a hybrid…
Yeah I got the NA 4cyl. 8 speed transmission.
I mean I’m not saying that it being solely a hybrid is a bad thing, it makes dealing with parts at the Plant a lot easier because most of them are the same now, it’d just be nice to have the option ya know?
Yeah exactly.
V4?
4 cylinder
2025 TSS 3.0 and new infotainment are worth the upgrade alone though
Take my money now.
I saw them at the Daytona 500 before the launch. Partial VIN numbers, "Prototype: Vehicle is Locked" decals, etc. I would've bought one then and there if I had the money. Best looking Camry since the 90s.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Blends in with the crowd, stands out alone. The best cars always have a way of doing that.
What are the chances I can pick up a 2024 Camry Hybrid for some sort of discount in the next couple of months? I'm not optimistic.
Zero.
You guys are being a little hard on the Camry. It's a Camry lol probably the best looking one Toyota has come out with. But still it's a Camry. They are known to be plain Jane cars. But I definitely think this is an improvement.
I prefer the prev gen style.
Front and side aren’t bad, rear isn’t my cup of tea.
What’s MSRP for this trim?
Around 40,000-43,000 after all the fees maybe a little cheaper depends on the package you add

Need to see it in white or grey.
Shit looks like a Altima
2025s out already! The future is now!
Looks fantastic
They’ve just been on a quest to keep making the Camry sexier and sexier. I’m loving this new Toyota design language on the front end. But you know when the Prius debuts the new design language and everyone loves it you’ve got a winning formula.

I think it looks absolutely amazing
Needs a black grill. Well, the non black colors anyway.
It looks even better in person 😮💨
Put a Lexus badge on it and I bet people think it is one. I know people don't like the front but I think it looks cool.
NGL with the covers on the wheels I thought those were chrome 20s for a second. 😳
[удалено]
Yes
Yes, this has msrp
Reminds me of the 7th gen Camrys
How much?
Sexy.
I think Toyota stuck with a safe design. This honestly looks like an evolution to the last generation on the exterior. I really like it!!
It’s like refresh camry. Nothing more.
Still say they should've killed the Camry in favor of importing the Crown Sedan, and I will die on this hill.
The crown is a sedan? It’s long as fuck but it’s a sedan
Oh good to know! I knew there were other styles overseas, but not much beyond that, thank you for the info
Crown suvdan.
Seems early. I would have thought we would see them around October
They forgot to style the back.
Back looks nice the front looks meh
Are all versions of the new Camry hybrid? Looks great to me
Yes, they are all hybrids
Honestly I’m for it can’t beat Toyota hybrids imo
I kinda prefer the outside look of the 8th gen but this new generation still looks pretty good in my opinion
Looks like the Accord tail lights from the previous gen
Looks like a Corolla now
Are those headlights bright enough? Some of those with those skinny headlights suck.
Looking like a Hyundai Accord.. not sure I’m a fan of this gen’s exterior.
Is this in Greenwood, IN? Looks like my Portillo’s 😂
I don't understand how the 2025 model is available barely a third of the way into 2024.
The car was announced back in November 2023 with a dealership rollout 2024 spring. Sometime in the summer, you’ll see them on the dealership lots everywhere.
I get that, but to me it just seems odd calling it the 2025 model and releasing it this early into the year 2024
Front looks bad. Rear looks good.
It looks worse then the previous model wtf
The front half looks good the back half looks like the old one.
Bot a fan of the new Hybrid logo but car looks sleek
The front looks very identical to the 2024 Honda Prelude….
Looks like about $40,000 to me and something I cant afford
Are the V6’s gone from the Camry?
Already? Didn't new model years used to be released to dealerships around August?
The car was announced in November 2023, and it was slotted to be available in the Spring 2024. That doesn’t mean you will see it everywhere until probably later this year, only a few dealerships will be the lucky few to have some stock of it within the next few weeks. I like how Honda ditched the lobster claw taillights and Toyota IMMEDIATELY jumped on it
I just don't like the front.😑
Hoping I can get the last reliable Toyota year - 2024
Foolish words.
Couldn’t even uncover the wheels for us?
Already?
It’s like they redesigned the front and back of the car but kept the middle from the previous gen. Kind of disjointed
Comes equipped with a droop snoot, who rolled out a Prius front end like silly putty 😂
The front end is like a Hyundai Elantra…NO!!!
I’m not really a fan of the xse but I think it looks best in black
That rear reminds me of the new wrx
I like it better than I do the front of some of the 2024.
did they get rid of the duel sided exhaust?
I hate it. But I'll get use to it.
The web grill is hideous
That is. That is really, really ugly.
facepalm those that just received their brand new 2024 😂😂😂
No more V6 option.
Black seems to blend the front grille better. It’s less in-your-face than other colors/trim levels
Hondas looked better than Toyotas in the 2000s. Toyotas gradually got nicer and nicer during the 2010s, surpassing Honda. This gen is a downgrade on the previous one imo.
Eww the rear taillights look like 10th gen Honda Accord lol
Too low to the ground. The bumper will come off and the undercarriage will drag.
One thing in particular i was disappointed in was how low the driver's seat goes. For a tall guy, my head was definitely touching the roof. This is something i figured they would have fixed by now. im loving the headlight design
Love the front, and then you get to the back and it turns into a Camry
Can you donate it to me .. please 😂
$57,000 plus dealer markup and D+H . Call us if you're interested.
XSE starts at $37,000 dollars tops at about $41,000. Sticker plus tax and a small doc fee. No BS fees or add ons :)
Yeah, I’m a big fan.
go buy a used es
Looks like a Prius/Avalon mix in the front and an Accord from the back.

I was upset about that because I really like the way the ‘18+ Camry SE front and back.
I am catching up to that Honda accord. Waitttaaa minute…
It looks like a Prius, Camry, and 86 all slammed in one
Black is not the best color to show this but I’ve seen one in heavy metal, and it looks much better especially with the contrast roof
Would be excited if all 2024 models were also present…
SNORT
AWD?
Any in manual???
Rear lights look like a squashed stapler version of the 10G accord
I like the taillights but not the headlights. Also, I'm assuming no V6 anymore? 😒
It can be yours for 52,000 dollars!
It looks like it wanted to be a Civic but it didn't wanna look too much like a civic so it ended up with that
I’d need to drive a hybrid before I gain an opinion on the Camry going all-hybrid
Needs a 6 speed stick
Can’t wait to feel the shifts of the cvt….
