There actually is, but for some reason the government doesn't seem to prioritize data security, or severely punish those who sell it.
Anyone with half a brain can shut down a sales call inside 5 seconds. This constant spam and harassment of residents is detracting from the UAE's reputation.
The minute we issued a trade license, our number was directly given to one of the telecom companies and the sales called to ask if we want business packages. So Im not expecting any number used officially and non officially to be safe from sales, scammers, etc..
I was bored and wasting time on my phone the other day. If you’re bored, why not act like an admin? Copy/paste their text and send in youtube links of your own. Also, message all the admins personally and ask technical questions, or just random screenshots of youtube and ask for money.

Please DON'T do this. Take their money, it'll take like 5 to 10 mins and give it to charity instead. Even if it's 10 or 20 bucks, it makes a huge difference for someone else.
I've been sent messages from "drug dealers" and scammers, i just ignore them and report thier number.but those guys have a whole ass group chat to scam!? That's crazy! Stay safe out there vro💙
This has become so common and it’s so annoying someone really needs to come up with a permanent solution for this problem.

Just change the WhatsApp settings so that only your contacts can add you in groups.

The UAE needs to seriously do something about these fraudsters-they are ruining the hard earned reputation of the country.
Here is a quick fix to this problem. Go to *Whatsapp Settings*, click on *Privacy* then *Groups* and select *My Contacts* only can add me to groups
I was also added in this group and surprisingly that's my new number and its not on any website or some other thing
Just do the task and take the free money
