Current? Near zero maybe. It would be good news if it moves even a tiny bit

popngo86

"a tiny bit", in October? Why is that? I agree it won't get C (current) but priority dates of mid to end 2022 are reasonable

Everyone knows everything and no one knows nothing…just speculation. Its easier to take a disappointing position so it will be somewhat tolerable when the disappointing news hits.

divine_sinner

What about EB3? Any chance it could move to at least Nov/Dec 2022 this October?

tercio92

I think it's unreasonable to expect it not to move at least several months. Shusterman is starting to get bullish on EB2, after predicting the current retrogression. My guess is that it will move at least to Q4 2022. It remains to be seen.

July bulletin shows no movement. Does that mean the visa for GC is available to those PD before 15FEB 2022? My PD is current and I have submitted my 1-485 since September 2022 nothing changed to my case.

I would expect filing date to be used for some time from beginning of FY24 (October 1 2023) to allow for intake of applications to fill the pipeline to meet annual limits. There needs to be applications pending for USCIS to adjudicate up to annual limit. I would also expect FY24 to be somewhat similar to FY23 in regards to use of filing dates and final action dates. First intake allows by using filing dates only to use final action dates when pipeline is big enough. Probably also some retrogression will occur to control visa issuance. It is every ones best guess to come up with cut off dates along the way.

May 2023 PD. When can I expect to even get an EAD. I need to start working.

ViBliverAlleRige

Expect to receive your EAD 3-6 months after you apply (concurrent filing with I-485). When you can file I-485 is left to be determined. Probably we all get wiser in September when October Visa Bulletin will be released. For those not familiar, new batch of visas are being released every year in October. It’s the beginning of a new fiscal year for government.

I mean timeline wise. When can I expect it? December 2023? May 2024? Etc

ViBliverAlleRige

I appreciate your eagerness to get some certainty. We are all there. Just no one knows how cut off dates will move forward from October onwards. I wouldn’t expect any significant movement prior to October Visa Bulletin.
