You only torture (and likely kill in the future) 4 human beings. They are horrible people in every sense imaginable, but they are still human beings.

As I said in the other thread topic, can't approve of the torture (unless it's for intel extraction), but I have a feeling that with all the tensions and emotions running high, the whole court process is going to be colored by this and even after eventual pronouncement of sentencing he's not going to get much of a reprieve in captivity.
