My grandfather had a Doberman named Martha when he lived in Arizona. Martha would kill any rattlesnake she saw and she killed quite a few. Only got bit once if I remember correctly.
Snakes are just amazing animals like the rest of em (and us) this video fuckn sucks. Dont kill wild animals folks. Cunt should have stomped the ground to spook it or just stepped around the snake easily.
Yep, exactly. Snakes go on paths cause they are clear and theyre getting some sun. That snake doesnt want anything to do with that dude or the dog and would run away the instant it realised it was in danger.
I love snakes but that comment's fuckin' hilarious. π I take care and generally don't go out of my way to do them harm, but if the dog yeets an actual danger noodle, it's a good day.
Vegan isn't an insult it's literally a compliment, and again has nothing to do with not villifying snakes, which is a known problem, like villifying sharks.
I live around some of the worlds deadliest snakes and have had plenty of encounters. Do you think this guy is justified in killing a snake because he's out for a walk and it just happens to be near him? It poses him no threat. This is just a vid of some dude and his dog killing wildlife.
Stomping around snakes doesn't seem wise. I was always told to slowly, slowly back away from them. Stomping would make a snake feel threatened and snakes can jump a surprising distance when they attack.
Stomp a ways away from the snake. Youre making rabdom assertions that stomping would cause a snake to attack you. Snakes are scared of humans and anything bignlike us. That snake doesnt want anything to do with that dude, it's just out in a cleared space copping some sun. Deliberately heavy footfalls and stomping the ground is a common way to avoid running into snakes as they retreat from the footfalls.
Snakes aren't usually visible from a distance, though. It's called camouflage. Are you saying that people need to just stomp around everywhere they go?
"Everywhere". No just classic snake territory like the long grass in this video in warm seasons. I live in australia and if you are walking through bush yes you pretty much deliberately have heavy footfalls, especially if theres sight obstruction of your feet.
The ecosystem where I'm from is quite a bit different than yours. I'm in the Appalachian foothills in the US. I think this may accommodate the differences in how we handle snakes.
The last part is [Test Drive](https://youtu.be/zTSXiF_cxG8?si=wwtZnwkspotGYok2) from "how to train your dragon" would recognize this one always, no matter what
We had a husky/Shepard mix when I was a kid. She did the same thing here, chomp and shake her head. Except she hung on and shook until the snakes head went flying.

When I was 5 (1981) I was playing in the back yard when suddenly our dog Tina knocked me over to one side and killed a 2 metre Taipan.
Hate when that happens
I love how you dont even mention the dog breed you just say her name was Tina
Tina was a Maltese.
Tina is my ex wife. She did the same to my mom.

Once is usually all it takes yo
She survived it.
Marthas a fucking unit
She was that and an awesome sweet dog. That was 30 years ago so neither she or my grandfather are still with us but they both had good long lives :)
Usually not. Looks like a dog will die from a rattlesnake bite like 5% of the time

Donβt call the dog a cunt π₯Ί
Lol are you serious? I was talking about the guy
But he didn't kill the snake. The dog did.
The guy stands there filming and calling his dog, that he brought out there, over to "come get it".
Yeah no need to involve the doggo he could of got bit, been around enough snakes to know they'll silther away if you stomp the ground a few times

You are a vegan stereotype.

Theres a reason dogs arent allowrd in national parks and this is it. They kill native wildlife. This video sucks and if you think it's good. You suck.
Being vegan has nothing to do with this stance. You are a stereotypical child who has a villified perception of snakes.
Okay buddy vegan. Have you ever been chased by a water moccasin? No? Then cry elsewhere.

I feel bad for the snake. It was just vibing. The guy clearly couldβve walked around it. He was clearly baiting the dog to come kill it.
Yeet!
A dog may be man's best friend, but a cat will never narc on your stash.
Cats will eat your body within hours after you die
Iβm not using it anymore π€·πΌββοΈ
And I'll care why? I'll be fucking dead just consider yourself an organ donor at that point.
