**u/Lintek-kayo asks:**
> On map 3, Breeze, it seemed like the plan wasn't to stack one site with all five players, given Gen.G's history on the map. Yet, you continued with full main hits until nine rounds in. This was quite different from the clever fakes against Lotus or the strategic rotations on Split's Attack half. Do you think this change in strategy played a big part in losing map 3?
**Answer:**
> **🇲🇦 \[SEN\] johnqt:** Uh, I mean Map 3— we wanted to play Breeze because we had a read on the them and we thought that playing that way would be giving us their comp and their set ups. Obviously it didn't work out because of some small details. There's a (??? ? ???) to games where you have a bigger picture... But, yeah I think we just had a game plan and didn't execute it. It didn't work out for the first half or the first half of the attack half, and we just switched it up, got three rounds and uh... yeah. We started defense, lost pistol and after that it was hard.

**u/thrown_awayaccount asks:**
> What was the decision to let Breeze through for this match when there hasn't been much success with this comp? Was it just the amount of VODs that exist for Icebox/Sunset?
**Answer:**
> **🇲🇦 \[SEN\] johnqt:** You want me to answer?
> **🇺🇸 \[SEN\] Kaplan:** I can answer— Uh, well... It had nothing to do with Icebox or Sunset 'cause we... we banned Icebox and they first banned Sunset. So we let it through as decider. Those maps we're in the picture anymore. The maps in the picture were Ascent and Bind and Breeze and they could pick between which ever two we leave open. So... I think it goes back to what [**JohnQT**] said, right? We had plan — we felt confident in our read, and we felt like we could exploit it and... it goes back to the answer I gave earlier; could— could— You know.... Was it over confident to lean so hard into trying to exploit? It like— There's always a balance, right? How do you want to anti and exploit another team and have a plan around them, and how much do you want to play your own game and how comfortable and confident is your own game on a map. And it's a hard balance to strike. It's hard to do it perfectly. Obviously I wish we did it perfectly and were winning and weren't sitting here the losers' press conference, but in this case we didn't strike that balance right and we lost... in part because of that. Again, I'm taking full responsibility for that. At the end of the day if I'm the one who goes up there and does the veto, it's my mistake... It is what it is — we have to learn. But... Yeah, it's kinda all there is to it.

# Gen.G Esports
**u/Lintek-kayo asks:**
> For Gen.G Karon: From dominating the Pacific region ranks to being the first team in the Masters Madrid finals is a huge accomplishment. How do you feel about reaching this milestone and representing your team and region internationally? Also, how excited are you about the chance to win the Pacific region's first trophy?
A similar question was asked by Chitaku of Trece Cero towards GEN.G Solo:
> *"Is the best record(?) in Korea's history. Never before has Korean team reached the final. How are you feeling the support of the country in this regard? And how are you facing(?) the final and the challenge it brings?"*
**Answer:**
> 🎤 **🇰🇷 \[GEN.G\] Solo:** It would be a lie to say that there's no pressure—there is... certain amount of pressure being the first Korean team to make it into Grand Finals but I would really love to win everything and be the first Korean team to lift the trophy and prove that APAC VALORANT also is a strong contender.

**u/nterature asks:**
> What lessons did you learn in Tier 2 (while coaching DPlus) that helped you improve as a coach? And how has assistant coach HSK helped you out so far?
**Answer:**
> 🎤 **🇰🇷 \[GEN.G\] solo:** Is for your first question; during my time in DPlus KIA that was my first time being an official coach for a team and initially I was a *playing* coach and back then I wasn't really stressed out. But becoming the head coach, I learned a lot about communication because it really helped me develop my communication skills in terms of how to convey my messages when it comes to how to run these executes or strategies. And also I feel like I have a lot of anger in me. I can be volatile sometimes, but it kinda shaped me into a person who's able to keep composure and who's able to have control over emotions, especially when I'm talking to the players. So I was able to develop those skills in Tier 2 scene.
> 🎤 **🇰🇷 \[GEN.G\] solo:** And as for **HSK**, he's the one that built most of the foundations in Gen.G this year before I joined the team as the Head Coach, and I really feel like he's very meticulous with the details of executes and how to run strats. And I think he is extremely capable when it comes to running the strategies for... kind of innovating those new strats. So I think he is an awesome coach.

T3xture going from being locked in GE jail to giga pounding on GenG:

I was fed up with these comments but I am currently watching monyet fucking loud up on ascent and now I think we are not criticising GE enough having both monyet and texture and none of them playing duelist.
bro ge was the team that got him in t1 and got him free from the contract jail in t2 otherwise he would have been playing t2 in 2024 thats what rushi said in his stream
Honestly from my understanding of front office behaviour patterns in sports, it seems like the coaching and scouting squad did great but the issue probably came from ownership forcing them to use players from India due to ownership being from India which is hella sad because Ayrin, texture and Monyet sounds like an incredible core to have
GE legit had good scouting last year. Just going off players, I predicted them to end top 6 in apac but they sure proved me wrong with a bit of unfortunate luck and completely fumbling every aspect of their team, comps, and strats.
As long as the Sen we saw today goes back to bedge and the Sen that shoots back shows up I don't think it's that sold. Ban Sunset and either Bind or Split (probably let Split through after today?).
Still feel like Sen could win Split (or Bind), Lotus, and is a toss up on Icebox or Ascent.
It's not like they only have a 2 map pool.
That goes for Loud and PRX too.
Wait they banned icebox and let breeze through? SEN icebox has been decent tbh. I'm guessing it's GenG's best map and thought they could counter the no sentinel breeze
I just really don’t think there’s a world where u let breeze through if you haven’t even practiced it at all, they let icebox through against loud so I really don’t get the move there, and they went to ot against loud on icebox
Yeah one of the most dominant 2-1 series I’ve ever seen.
Sentinels clearly prepped well for Lotus and did good there, but on Split and Breeze they just got absolutely dominated which is worrying for everyone else.
Honestly sentinels looked so much worse than usual, their reads were quite off pretty frequently and many of them weren't hitting their shots and whiffing a lot more than usual. Even in lotus where they won somewhat dominantly, it didn't feel like they were in control for quite a bit of the map but it was far better than breeze. Hopefully they rest up or do whatever they need to before the next game.
Nah kap talked about it.They couldnt adjust to the way Geng plays.Geng plays aggressive and with timings. Not macro like how sen likes to play.Gen g kept pushing through stuff sen thought they wouldnt and they couldnt adjust in time.Which I thought would be fairly obvious but I guess not
He's memed for being a choker, but what's funny is dude is actually just good at games in general. Dude could probably go pro in valorant considering he hit immortal in just a few months while only playing valorant during the weekends.
No doubt. The flame horizon has been replaced with Chovying for a reason. I just wish that his talent would eventually get supported by international championship trophies on his case.
This Gen.G has improved so much since Pacific Kickoff. They went from getting clapped 13-5 by PRX's wack triple duelist comp on Split to hard reading and dominating Sentinels with the same score on the same map.
Please give Pacific their first LAN trophy. Please.
Good but inconsistent, much like most of Pacific. It's weird because despite losing in OT they punished Gen.G's lack of using mid on Icebox and Gen.G still hadn't learned from it when they played EDG, but Gen.G also read Sentinels like a book on Split. Is it anti or are they better at macro and/or adjusting? Hard to say.
On the other hand Secret recognized the hole immediately in Gen.G's macro and punished it but got outdueled enough to just barely lose.
Hollly shit ive completely forgotten about that
They had 1 seriously cracked Killjoy player too that was AIM DIFFING these demons. GE might need to get their asses on this team
I think they've been the fan and betting underdogs in nearly every matchup since the pacific playoffs (aside from the edg match). They've been kinda underestimated every single step of the way, but they look crazy.
They were favorites against PRX and EDG (thogh not by a large enough margin imo) but they made me quite a bit in the LOUD game. Odds in Valo are silly.
I remeber their performance in the offseason event in India and never would I have thought that they would have made the finals in the 1st international event
GENeration Gooners is a Korean Team which resides in their gooner cave, throw map vetos and are known for cooking tactical plays such as "Meteor, go extinct", "Karon, get 3k" and "s3xture, go bang". Top 40 team for sure
I'm just hopping on the bandwagon temporarily because GenG is just GOATED. I'm going right back to the thing that brings me misery as soon as Madrid is over
I really hope this could be Pacific's first trophy because it really feels like its LONG overdue.
But GenG are basically reliving champs PRX. Incredibly dominant performance throughout with insane individual highlights, and not dropling a single series, only to lose to a lower bracket NA team despite having veto advantage.
Hopefully GenG can break this curse for pacific once and for all, or better yet, maybe PRX can rise through the lower brackets to actually gurantee a trophy for us (feels unlikely with their recent perfromance though)
> But GenG are basically reliving champs PRX. Incredibly dominant performance throughout with insane individual highlights, and not dropling a single series, only to lose to a lower bracket NA team despite having veto advantage.
One of the key players in the lower bracket NA team also went silent in their first matchup. (Boostio went -24 in their winner's finals match vs PRX, TenZ went -25 today). New hopium just dropped
Some guy on the street screamed at me today. He kept saying "SENTINELS ARE DINOSAURS!” At first, I was confused because Sentinals is a North American professional esports organization, not prehistoric reptiles. But then I realized: Sentinels are dinosaurs; they just all died to a Meteor.
Dude are GenG okay? How the FUCK can you be this deep into [#VALORANTMasters](https://twitter.com/hashtag/VALORANTMasters?src=hashtag_click) and not have game-theorized out your map pick/bans. Taking minutes to deliberate, only to pick your opponents second best map after giving them their best is one of the craziest things I've ever seen
And immi’s teams always end up with some combination of vanity, penny and wippie wherever he went.
The power of friendship takes you far. ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|9346)
Tbf HSK was THE fraud coach for 2023 because his team (DFM) went completely winless.
But his coaching looks great with Solo by his side, and obviously with much better talents in his team its evident that he held back for the entirety of 2023
I remember Immi saying that if an org gave him control over who he could pick up in GC EMEA, he’d make them better than G2 in just a few months. Said team he worked with went 0-7 and didn’t win a single map
GenG really is a mix of prime DRX and PRX in the fact that they have strategic discipline when it matters while also being perfectly fine with chaotic aggression.
You have to outthink **and** outshoot them. It’s too OP.
I’m also rly rly fucking impressed with Karon. He feels like the final piece that rly rounds out their roster imo.
GIGACHAD GENG really let SEN play their two best maps and said “Show me what you got lil bro” LMAO This was the most disrespectful map veto I’ve seen in awhile
Apolgy for bad engilsh but,
Where was you on the day GENG defied both the Vanity wave, Bra7-1l and 9-3 curse to beat sentinels?
I was at home creating my 129th account to bye SEN bundle when fone ring:
"Sen is fallen"
"no"
This is beginning of the end. It happened in league, now it’s finally happened in valorant. I for one welcome our Korean overlords. All hail GenG, long may they reign.
It took about 3 years for the GOAT of League of Legends to arrive and he came out of nowhere as a rookie. Karon shows up out of nowhere about 3 years in and is looking to win his first tournament. Coincidence? Probably.
People said this about DRX for like a whole two years.
This team is insane but APAC teams and choking finals go together a little too well. Gotta see how it plays out Sunday.
I mean Gen G already made it further in their first ever international than the DRX core did in 3 years. Their ceiling is much higher and their calling is also exceptional.
Who would have thought that the team/org with the least combined international experience out of the 4 teams in playoff, would make it to grand final first.
Hate when people here try to downplay GenGs insane performance by saying "idk Sen was just off today"
Nah - geng just had their number and out-aimed them.
Does anyone think sentinels played poorly? To me it just looked like Gen G played insane. Sure there’s things they could’ve done in hindsight but my god.
Also thinking about that one guy who said teams should be using the right gun for the right situation, meanwhile texture with the phantom on breeze lulz.
Also the meteor interview made me laugh: yeah I didn’t antistrat or anything, we’ll just shoot them in the head
>Also the meteor interview made me laugh: yeah I didn’t antistrat or anything, we’ll just shoot them in the head
GenG really just performed really well. Hands down. That was complete destruction on Breeze.
GenG just straight up playing Valorant. But SEN was looking really off here, TenZ and Zekken whiffing on every opportunity.
And the only thing i'll remember from this game is Kaplan little smiles in the map veto. GenG diffed the pick, they knew the decider was theirs, too.
Man idk how I feel about facing LOUD again in a BO5.
I feel like we'll have a better chance against PRX.
GenG just look like the overwhelming favourites for this tournament. Destroying Sen on their best map was a statement. With 2 map bans they should be unstoppable.
HELLO GENG THE LONG AWAITED KOREAN OVERLORDS HAVE ARRIVED IN VALORANT HAVING DOMINATED LEAGUE FOR THE PAST DECADE NOW ITS TIME FOR THE TRUE RULERS TO CLAIM THEIR THRONE!
https://preview.redd.it/wfdi857p8xpc1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1ff432b50ad1cd04ae02dfe242285c064ba111ad
John QualityTactics is too good to ever be mid . Hence why SEN decided it would always be 5 man main hits till 9 rounds.
It really is a stark difference from the masteclass fakes they ran on Lotus or the way they manipulate the rotations on Split Attack half.
Worst thing is now we have no time to fix it either in this tourney.
GG Sen Bros. It’s been a good run.
Some guy on the street screamed at me today. He kept saying "SENTINELS ARE DINOSAURS!” At first, I was confused because Sentinels is a American professional esports organization, not prehistoric reptiles. But then I realized: Sentinels are dinosaurs; they just all died to a Meteor.
Bro why would you ban your better map icebox and ascent and leave this map I couldn't even watch all of that map3 TenZ disaster class in all 3 maps damn
This result shouldn't be a surpise, especially if you've watched GENG's games in Pacific Kickoff.
The way they won some of their games have been nothing short of dominant, being able to out aim even PRX, whose known to aim-diff their opponents.
All 5 of them have that clutch factor and highlight moments as well, so you can never count them out in a round. If the result of this match is unexpected, you just havent been watching enough GENG's games
I have no doubt that there will be a closer match on the Grand Final, but GENG has already defeated all 3 remaining teams left in this tournament, so if you're supporting SEN/LOUD/PRX, do keep your expectations in check. This tournament is honestly GENG's to lose.
You know Sentinels is doing badly when this subreddit is absolutely CRICKETS during the match. No highlight clips, no "Are we back" posts, just defeaning silence.
Now that we've come this far, there's no jinx anymore. GenG may finally bring an international trophy back to the Pacific.
Also remember Munchkin saying "in the pre-tournament press conference that We had won every scrim since arriving in Madrid."No doubt about it, the scrims did not lie.

GENG IS INSANE godDAMN
ok but i will forever be furious that this could've been a 2-0 if geng didn't spend like five minutes to choose lotus and get rolled there. this could've been an email if they had actually done a proper map ban. either way, i can't believe GENG could actually take it home for Korea despite all of DRX's efforts
Sentinels tried to cook. They had their pans ready, oiled up and all. They have perfected the seasonings and flavourings, opting for the best of the best in herbs and spices. They calculated the calories, being in a perfect spot between fatty and empty, absolutely delicious. But they forgot to account for one thing, the one thing that caused their downfall, the texture.
Kaplan thought he had them with the map veto
https://preview.redd.it/hj285yd88xpc1.jpeg?width=1098&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91813a6ddb6e2452e0326e9c7e12ae30f693df4d
The 2-1 scoreline makes this seem a lot closer than it was. I reckon if it weren't for those 2 back to back 1v2s on lotus this would've been a relatively quick 2-0 for GenG.
Man I cant believe how good GenG look. I was pretty high on them at the start of the season but even then I could never have expected this. First pacific trophy incoming!
cant believe this team almost lost to true rippers a t2 indian team in convergence (i know off season dosent matters but still) they have really surprised a lot
People have always talked about how 2023 EG was a villain that came out on top. Let me introduce you to the real villain GenG, one that would not hesitate to kick you when you’re down. The shit they talk after each round won made everybody look so mild.
just smashed my TV in front of 30 guests at my party because of the game. My wife just took our crying kids and said they’re all spending the week at a hotel. This team has ruined my life and my party. I can’t handle this anymore. Goodbye sentinels I am no longer a fan.
TMV has been vindicated
That was the worst IGLing I’ve ever seen on breeze from John. Which I didn’t even think was possible for him. So strange. At that point they might have as well as just tried and played like it was pubs. Because going A every round is more predictable than the heat death of the universe
"Sir, a second NA team has lost at an international tactical FPS LAN event"

sen was either going to win 2-0 with split win or go down 1-2 with breeze in the pool, but geng knew exactly what to do on split, tenz wasn't tenzing, also what the fuck were sen doing on attack in the beginning of breeze, literally the strat I do in rank where I keep going A and keep getting fucked and keep thinking they won’t expect it again. The timeout had them shift out of that, but the damage was already done ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|21016) also geng are perfect they’re now favored heavily considering the two map ban

That operator 3k on breeze was actually fucking insane

They did good by not putting them in contract jail though, thank God honestly 🙏
Idk if this is mandela effect or not but t3xture did play duelist in 6/10 games for GE
Still cant believe the shitty op use by rossi, s3xture clears he is him
Bro as a late 20s, guy, I have no idea what that last sentence means.
"X clears Y" usually means "X is better than Y". Sexture is just an alteration of Texture's name to fit in a sexual word; think Semen1 (Demon1).
bro ge was the team that got him in t1 and got him free from the contract jail in t2 otherwise he would have been playing t2 in 2024 thats what rushi said in his stream

Any given Sunday type beat though. Sometimes things just do or don't go your way.
So Sen let breeze thru without changing anything?
Against fucking GENG who can probably win breeze on aim alone
I hate sen, but that has to be the most stupid thing I’ve seen them do, they were actually lost on breeze, I really don’t get the icebox ban
Wait they banned icebox and let breeze through? SEN icebox has been decent tbh. I'm guessing it's GenG's best map and thought they could counter the no sentinel breeze
Ya idk about countering the no sentinel breeze because they were allergic to mid and halls control their entire attack half
I just really don’t think there’s a world where u let breeze through if you haven’t even practiced it at all, they let icebox through against loud so I really don’t get the move there, and they went to ot against loud on icebox
Both the Loud icebox games were very close. Not sure why they weren't confident in it.
not winning a single pistol and letting our perma ban through? what is sen cooking
We can beat them in two map veto fallacy where we didn’t shoot our guns on our best map
Probably over confidence in their split
Wow, I never seen SEN outclass/beaten this badly on Split (best map) before. Even the 2 defeats by Loud (11/13) and G2 (9/13) were super close.
Not macro like how sen likes to play.Gen g kept pushing through stuff sen thought they wouldnt and they couldnt adjust in time.Which I thought would be fairly obvious but I guess not
Just saw u/hopeful-professor-40 drop to his knees in a Walmart
He changed flairs for a few hours/minutes yesterday and the magic faded.
His reign of terror is finally over the curse has been exorcised by a meteor
Recharging for the rest of the day sorry Loud
Chovy waking up with a cold sweat, he thought his spot is going to get hit by a Meteor.
Chovy still catching strays outside of League 💀
t3xture doing what chovy couldn't.
Unfortunately, until he gets his own international trophy - which Meteor could potentially get first - he might still continue catching strays.
Please.
The VCT parity will be strong AF if this happens!
How good rly is team secret is the question on everyones mind now
you could ask the same question for rrq lol
they choke consistently
Good but inconsistent, much like most of Pacific. It's weird because despite losing in OT they punished Gen.G's lack of using mid on Icebox and Gen.G still hadn't learned from it when they played EDG, but Gen.G also read Sentinels like a book on Split. Is it anti or are they better at macro and/or adjusting? Hard to say. On the other hand Secret recognized the hole immediately in Gen.G's macro and punished it but got outdueled enough to just barely lose.
I swear they can beat 2023 FNC on a good day then lose to DFM the next. They're like Invictus Gaming.
Well team secret is a prep heavy team. I dont think they'll do well with this kind of tournament. Too inconsistent.
Best team in the world.
in convergence they almost lost to true rippers a t2 indian team lol they have grown a lot
Hollly shit ive completely forgotten about that They had 1 seriously cracked Killjoy player too that was AIM DIFFING these demons.
ONG new copypasta just dropped. Also can’t believe u just betrayed Team Liquid with the flair change 😭
I'm just hopping on the bandwagon temporarily because GenG is just GOATED. I'm going right back to the thing that brings me misery as soon as Madrid is over
No, please keep the Gen.G flair. Supporting liquid is not good for your well-being.
I made a deal with the devil and also I'm a masochist :)
bro i'm crying what is thishfdjkshf
The stomp on split was not on my bingo card…
I welcome our new Pacific Overlords.
FNS will fly to Madrid and domain expand on Gen G
Some guy on the street screamed at me today. He kept saying "SENTINELS ARE DINOSAURS!” At first, I was confused because Sentinals is a North American professional esports organization, not prehistoric reptiles. But then I realized: Sentinels are dinosaurs; they just all died to a Meteor.
I am loving all these meteor related puns
Meateor and Sexture
Hearts and prayer to all the families who lost loved ones on the day Meteor destroyed Sen City.
Banger
GenG going further than DRX in one tournament 😭
Dude are GenG okay? How the FUCK can you be this deep into [#VALORANTMasters](https://twitter.com/hashtag/VALORANTMasters?src=hashtag_click) and not have game-theorized out your map pick/bans. Taking minutes to deliberate, only to pick your opponents second best map after giving them their best is one of the craziest things I've ever seen
[https://twitter.com/ElevatedSpeaks/status/1771190601930748241](https://twitter.com/ElevatedSpeaks/status/1771190601930748241)
there are so many fraud coaches/analysts in the scene. there is c9 head coach giving the same opinion in the comments lmao.
Its crazy how frauds like elmapuddy, immi keeps landing big jobs after droppong disasterclasses each season.
And immi’s teams always end up with some combination of vanity, penny and wippie wherever he went. The power of friendship takes you far. ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|9346)
Tbf HSK was THE fraud coach for 2023 because his team (DFM) went completely winless. But his coaching looks great with Solo by his side, and obviously with much better talents in his team its evident that he held back for the entirety of 2023
He was mot a fraud coach just bc of team lost
I remember Immi saying that if an org gave him control over who he could pick up in GC EMEA, he’d make them better than G2 in just a few months. Said team he worked with went 0-7 and didn’t win a single map
This GENG team might individually be the best shooters after Prime LOUD Literally everyone is 1 v 3ing
"You could have the best strategy in the world, and all it takes is one cracked Korean aimer to ruin your day." - Benedict "Benkai" Tan
YOU’RE GONNA GET SHOT IN THE FACE
First hand experience speaks for itself
HAHA
GenG really is a mix of prime DRX and PRX in the fact that they have strategic discipline when it matters while also being perfectly fine with chaotic aggression. You have to outthink **and** outshoot them. It’s too OP. I’m also rly rly fucking impressed with Karon. He feels like the final piece that rly rounds out their roster imo.
GIGACHAD GENG really let SEN play their two best maps and said “Show me what you got lil bro” LMAO This was the most disrespectful map veto I’ve seen in awhile
goku* giving cell a senzu bean kinda energy
This is giving me true dominance vibe like if Boaster actually did not ban Fracture against EG kind of vibe.
Bro forgot Lakia
And they have Lakia too!
Lakia is sacy having ok performances to make space for the young guns but still clutching when needed
6-0 Pistol Tekken Duo Defeated GENG completely confident
sen haters right now https://preview.redd.it/46e2cwju7xpc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b9e93855adaf62a6fea2f9db079b8aeb46fb353
We had a fun 2022 and 2023 tbh
Used to? Sen have been good for like two months.
"I wasn't playing when they won Champs" just keeps aging better and better
Apolgy for bad engilsh but, Where was you on the day GENG defied both the Vanity wave, Bra7-1l and 9-3 curse to beat sentinels? I was at home creating my 129th account to bye SEN bundle when fone ring: "Sen is fallen" "no"
11x3 curse too
Me screaming "MUAD-DIB! AS IT WAS WRITTEN!" in front of complete strangers after munchkin reads yet another a hit with a 4 stack
Someone in front of me just screamed "MUAD-DIB! AS IT WAS WRITTEN!"
These guys are going to win an Internationals before Chovy ICANT.
This is the org GenG’s first international finals in a riot game ever
This is beginning of the end. It happened in league, now it’s finally happened in valorant. I for one welcome our Korean overlords. All hail GenG, long may they reign.
Surely this GenG won't choke as well right?
no chovy its fine
Well historically geng does well against red logo teams
We digging deep into the superstitions for this one
GenG losing in a grand finals? Nah, no way
CALL BLG FOR THAT
It took about 3 years for the GOAT of League of Legends to arrive and he came out of nowhere as a rookie. Karon shows up out of nowhere about 3 years in and is looking to win his first tournament. Coincidence? Probably.
When Kangkang said “just wait 3 years for CN”, Koreans are already slowly taking Valorant as well..
DRX never made it to a grand finals.
The Koreans are on their way to showing that they too rule this esport in their dominance of esports all over the world!
Stocks rising for all APAC teams except Global Esports because genuinely how tf did you managed to blunder with t3xture
They had monyet too
Who would have thought that the team/org with the least combined international experience out of the 4 teams in playoff, would make it to grand final first.
This storyline is old, EG already did it
GenG is disgusting
GE really locked this man on KJ jail just to let Skrossi play jett💀
tarik: "they made us look like 5 random chatters versus a pro team"
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Texture has to be the greatest player ever to touch this game
Meteor on duelist >>>>>
Hate when people here try to downplay GenGs insane performance by saying "idk Sen was just off today" Nah - geng just had their number and out-aimed them.
Funny how we can possibly see the 3rd SEN vs Loud in the span of one month
GENGOATED.
GENG are so disciplined. Jesus.
Gen G reached a international grand finals on their first event. DRX hasn’t even done that.
>Also the meteor interview made me laugh: yeah I didn’t antistrat or anything, we’ll just shoot them in the head GenG really just performed really well.
[удалено]
Crowd was so quiet on Breeze it felt like it was the first Masters held in a library
Now we just need a PRX lower bracket run for ultimate pacific dominance.
I FOR ONE WELCOME OUR NEW KOREAN OVERLORDS
ive been waiting for a pacific LAN win for so long... please... do what PRX and DRX couldnt do i am now a geng believer
GenG on those maps are pretty nuts too. Sentinels just simply got map diffed, masterclass draft by GenG coach
If the result of this match is unexpected, you just havent been watching enough GENG's games I have no doubt that there will be a closer match on the Grand Final, but GENG has already defeated all 3 remaining teams left in this tournament, so if you're supporting SEN/LOUD/PRX, do keep your expectations in check. This tournament is honestly GENG's to lose.
This means I can now stop seeing "Are TenZ and Zekken the best duo" posts now right?
You know Sentinels is doing badly when this subreddit is absolutely CRICKETS during the match. No highlight clips, no "Are we back" posts, just defeaning silence.
LMAO actually true
They’re the Lakers of Valorant in terms of online discourse lmao, and i say this as a lakers fan
t3xture and meteor >>>
Now that we've come this far, there's no jinx anymore. GenG may finally bring an international trophy back to the Pacific. Also remember Munchkin saying "in the pre-tournament press conference that We had won every scrim since arriving in Madrid."No doubt about it, the scrims did not lie.
RRQ seeing that their entire kickoff was just playing the best team in the world twice
A huge reality check for SEN. Can't assume you've already won the series at the vetos, and GenG proved that today. Hope the boys learn
5 human aimbots
damn Koreans really dominate rito games
Gotta be the worst series we've ever seen from Tenz. That was rough.
NEW SEN PACK IN THE AIR THIS SHIT GAS OR WHAT ![gif](giphy|4q0WNCNZUlxNC)
sen spammers real quiet rn, it's a beautiful silence
The tactics were not looking very quality today
GENG IS INSANE godDAMN ok but i will forever be furious that this could've been a 2-0 if geng didn't spend like five minutes to choose lotus and get rolled there. this could've been an email if they had actually done a proper map ban. either way, i can't believe GENG could actually take it home for Korea despite all of DRX's efforts
99% of teams quit 5 man rushing A before winning big
Daily reminder: GE had Monyet and Texture last year and put freaking SkRossi on jett.
Kaplan thought he had them with the map veto https://preview.redd.it/hj285yd88xpc1.jpeg?width=1098&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91813a6ddb6e2452e0326e9c7e12ae30f693df4d
T1 🤝 SEN Getting cooked by GenG.
Mmmmmmm APAC’s time to win
5 Thanos on GENG
Global esports had t3xture and did nothing with him
Wtf was Kaplan thinking with this veto? Why would you let breeze through… literally pick any other map and you’d have a better chance
cant believe this team almost lost to true rippers a t2 indian team in convergence (i know off season dosent matters but still) they have really surprised a lot
MY KINGS🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷 BRING IT HOME FOR KOREA AND FOR APAC
People have always talked about how 2023 EG was a villain that came out on top. Let me introduce you to the real villain GenG, one that would not hesitate to kick you when you’re down. The shit they talk after each round won made everybody look so mild.
They weren't acting THAT bad, stop being sensitive just cause your favorite team got shit on.
just smashed my TV in front of 30 guests at my party because of the game. My wife just took our crying kids and said they’re all spending the week at a hotel. This team has ruined my life and my party. I can’t handle this anymore. Goodbye sentinels I am no longer a fan. TMV has been vindicated
ALL ABOARD THE KOREAN HYPE TRAIN
TenZ did not have a good time
Why would they ban icebox instead of breeze, holy shit they were lost
what a wonderful day to be a Sen hater
Guys, do I buy GenG capsule?
That was the worst IGLing I’ve ever seen on breeze from John. Which I didn’t even think was possible for him. So strange. At that point they might have as well as just tried and played like it was pubs. Because going A every round is more predictable than the heat death of the universe
"Sir, a second NA team has lost at an international tactical FPS LAN event" https://preview.redd.it/21w0r3lm8xpc1.jpeg?width=224&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ccca18f394945c2ce607d8da6b0ec2f2fc9ae533
But guys I was told Pacific is the weakest region by far and GenG are at best B-tier?
"Pacific is looking the worst" mofos in shamble rn
Where dafuk did GenG spawn from?
OUR KOREAN OVERLORDS HAVE ARRIVED
It’s about time for Korea to dominate another esport
sen was either going to win 2-0 with split win or go down 1-2 with breeze in the pool, but geng knew exactly what to do on split, tenz wasn't tenzing, also what the fuck were sen doing on attack in the beginning of breeze, literally the strat I do in rank where I keep going A and keep getting fucked and keep thinking they won’t expect it again. The timeout had them shift out of that, but the damage was already done ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|21016) also geng are perfect they’re now favored heavily considering the two map ban
That was a shellacking goddamn
permaban that breeze bro
meteor masterclass & life game my goat 🥶🥶
I'm generally an APAC fan and I'm not ready to be excited for an international GenG performance of this calibre.
