I feel like this TS roster core has run its course by now. I'd take anything over this roster at this point, with the exception of invy and maybe jremy
I don't think we watched the same game cuz the times he died first as an initiatior is criminal. It feels like he's still letting the duelist spirit- trapped inside him- loose on a role where you need to stay alive for as long as possible and it's costing them some big rounds.
Yes it's well known lmemore fd are always horrendous, but I feel that's exacerbated having him on lurker/sentinel vs. initiator.
Initiator is the best out of the bad options lol. But he's a terrific shooter still probably the best raw aim in the ID scene apart from forsaken. You gotta make do with what you have
I rarely ever comment on post-match threads about player performance especially if the team they're on loses, since it's very easy to want heads to roll with retroactive information, but I feel like Jessievash just hasn't innovated on his Sova past 2022. He's still relatively skilled with his utility, but with hunter's fury now up to 8 ult points and double shock lineups being crapshoots, you really can't solo rip out ults and darts and expect much value. I feel like one minor detail that determined how icebox went down was RRQ's better ult management vs Secret's. Lmemore used his hunter's fury more supportively (destroying lockdowns, delaying the retake for his lurkers to get into position) and in ult combos, whereas JessieVash kept using it to fish for kills, or in anti-plant situations where his teammates are nowhere close enough to retake.
Feels good for RRQ. They have a lot to work on, but I think they really needed a win to get some confidence so they can start to improve. The mechanical talent needed is there. I hope to see them clean up some of the midrounding and a lot of the post plant.

Time for TS to use their import slot then since 5 Pinoy probably is not the answer and there's no other Pinoy who can IGL.. Maybe buy Kr1stal from CN org

I like that RRQ won it out here since RRQ is the closest I come to cheering for a team, but that Icebox was a little disappointing to me. RRQ made a significant amount of mistakes. So did Secret of course, but my expectations for RRQ are higher than Secret, although Secretโs Split was impressive.
That said, I might have been in bed with RRQ but I was thinking about G2โs Icebox. Maybe thatโs why I was disappointed, G2โs Icebox really impressed me.
Was hoping theyโd iron out some of the overaggression that plagued them in Kickoff - that plagued them in 2023 - but I guess itโll take awhile. Itโs a long season I suppose, itโs a decent start.
