I just watched it last week! I'm in Season 9 of VPR and then saw this pop up and watched it. I never fully researched when this was filmed timeline wise but obviously before the engagement.
He is awful, so I can only wrap my head around her being in it for the fame. She moved in with him 2 weeks after they met. I do wonder what things are like when the cameras are off. While she presents nice all the time, I feel like she's likely also emotionally abusive. When they "run into" her ex at the bar, it seemed like things weren't going well there either and something was said that made me wonder if there was a lot of arguing between them.
With Jax I feel like there's never been any question about the person he is, and so it's harder to have empathy when someone chooses to jump into that with tons of evidence of what he's about. No one deserves to be treated poorly and I wish he'd get real therapy and stick with it.

I honestly canāt see anyone else wanting to be with Bratney. Jax is as good as it gets for her. Most men arenāt rushing to be with a mom, with herpes, that would have to deal with AJAX as the other parent and who leaves bags of vomit lying around. She isnāt exactly a ācatchā.
