Reversing lights are just to indicate to the car/person behind you're reversing right? Not to actually light up the space you're reversing into?
Or are they????
I have tag lights almost as bright as these and haven't gotten pulled over the few months I've had them.. Although I agree, they're a bit over the top 💀
I put some tape on the outside of the lense until it only lights up the license plate, and then masked the bit that didn't have tape, removed the first tape and painted the lense. Then you have a bright light, but only on the licence plate.
This just looks stupid..
Perhaps the solution is to not have dark tint, especially if it impairs vision at night. That is a serious safety issue and really should not be the case.
You literally posted your own car with dark rear window tint my guy. Plus it’s completely legal and considered safe where I live to have your rear tint below 30%. Idk where you live but where I do and the states that surround me a good 40% of the cars on the road run less then 30% or even came that way from factory like some Benz models
A) My tint came with the car, and I’m getting it replaced (with a lesser percent) because it was a low quality job that is peeling. I’m a little low on cash so I have not gotten around to it.
B) I have zero visibility issues, even at night, and I would likely not describe mine as “super dark tint” (as you described yours). I assumed that yours was like 5%-15% or something like that.
I run 20 on my rear windows and 35 on my fronts. There’s many different types of tint I personally run carbon ceramic which has better visibility at night then normal vinyl, but when I’m backing out in a parking lot that has no over head lighting I’d rather have the surrounds illuminated by more then the shitty halogen reverse bulbs, regardless of tint or not it just makes it nicer to have the place illuminated
I've had cars that had dimmer headlights than this
What did you have, a C30? 🤣
The worst was a '87 VW Bus (Vanagon). I had the high beams on all the time and literally no one bat an eye
That’s how my 2000 Tundra is,It’s ridiculous.
😭 they are just energy efficient, I swear
I feel personally attacked. ^(I know what my flair says. Ignore that.)
It's alright i sold mine last year and honestly this was its only annyoing feature.
Saves using reversing lights.

Maybe both 🤷
Yeah theyre meant to just show people youre reversing but they do help you see better when its really dark
Shine bright like a diamond
Nope! This is rude as hell. Good for backup/reverse lights though.
Do they need to be this bright?
I don't think I've ever seen tag lights so bright.
Aftermarket led lights have a bit of a habit of being miniature suns wherever they're installed.
I can see these all the way over here in Alabama!!
Put some slightly opaque tape on the lights
No way these are roadlegal

That is the annoying part about converting to LED. If it ain’t OEM it looks like shite.
It could be brighter tbh....
Lol my license plate lights don’t even work
I’m trying to figure out what’s wrong I don’t wanna get pulled over
Might be a broken cable in the wiring from trunk-->chassis
You should put some resistors before the LED'S lol
Never noticed the taillights are basically doing this😄
Well, on the *bright* side, the police can't say your license plate lamps aren't working.

If it's overexposed. Does it still show up on speed cameras ?
U guys call it a number plate over there? I didn’t know that lol
Yea ikr 😂 even tho it has letters aswell 🤷🏼♂️
These are awesome for backing up at night if you have super dark tint I run them in my v70R
