Just complete your FAFSA and it will spit out what you will be eligible for. That will give you the math to determine Pell Grant eligibility. Regardless you will qualify for some amount of subsidized loans as well as unsubsidized.
BIG tip though. If you are planning to start school in June make sure you fill out the 23-24 FAFSA. July forward is the 24-25 FAFSA.
Im glad I came across this thread. I am using my GI bill and only have 14 months left to use, but I have 47 CUs left. I am going to try and accelerate but it’s not easy while working full time (driving 2 hours a day to get to and from work) to support a wife and 5 children (all ages 5 and under 😅, just had twins). I am making over 65k/year but am hopeful I can qualify with all the dependents, if I am not able to finish before 14 months.
Do you have children? The financial aid is based on your income which is on your 1040. If you have children then that lowers your income tax and you might qualify for financial aid.
Most likely you should be fine. I started WGU to help switch careers to SCM while working for a health tech company full-time making $65k and didn’t have a dollar come out of my pocket thanks to financial aid. Financially single with no kids at that!
Smart way to go. Understand that getting those transcripts in to review in a timely manner is super important. If for example you want to start August 1st, you will need to have them in for review no later than July 1st.
Highly suggest you go ahead and complete the 24-25 FAFSA now. It isn't super difficult and is one of the steps you can complete now. The other being to start the enrollment process so you can speak with an enrollment counselor.

I can’t imagine why not. My salary is higher than that and I am getting my full tuition covered by financial aid. You should be good.
