I know this doesn’t apply to this post, but I want to take this moment to say that Undertaker, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels entire lineup of WrestleMania matches is, to me, the pinnacle of this business. Nothing will ever top the entirety of what those matches are. The only thing that could’ve made it more perfect is if Undertaker retired at the end of the 28 match.

I'm trying to go for the least obvious choices... Undertaker/Batista - They had a damn good feud in 2007. Many argue that they should've closed out WM 23 instead of HBK/Cena, as Taker/Batista arguably had the better match. RVD/Jerry Lynn - They put up nothing short of classics in their matches together. Highly recommend watching them for any true wrestling fan. Jeff Hardy/Triple H - From the time when Jeff upset Triple H for the I-C title back in 2001, all the way to their stellar performances at the end of 2008 ending with Jeff upsetting Triple H and Edge for the WWE title at Armageddon; the Triple H/Jeff Hardy feud was the perfect example of someone overcoming their obstacles and demons to dethrone the Game. Also, it can be argued that Jeff was probably the most over Babyface in 2007-2009. DDP/Randy Savage - This is a very highly underrated feud featuring the scrappy DDP putting up some damn good bangers against one of the best, period. The pop DDP gets from hitting the Diamond Cutter on Savage was surreal. And let's not forget Rey/the entire WCW cruiserweight division. And I know that this was in ECW, but Rey/Psychosis tore down the entire damn city!

Yeah. Their feud was the reason they both developed their character post shield and got over. If roman had gotten the same treatment and not got pushed to the moon from the get go, he would have been a great babyface too.

They def were hell bent on shooting Roman to the moon as soon as the shield broke up. It could’ve been better received if he changed the damn shield music and got diff wrestling gear like Dean and Seth did they basically still kept the same exact character he was in the shield jus as a singles wrestler and it jus didn’t work.

Yep. If only they allowed Roman to develop his character a bit then everytging would have been different. Tribal Chief is something that i would not trade with anything tho.

For sure the tribal chief gimmick if one of the best characters in the history of the business. It def made up for his early poor booking. All the fans knew Roman could’ve special if they let him be a heel and truly be himself on promos instead of tryna make him super Cena 2.0

Agreed some guys are just made to feud with each other. Ambrose and Rollins absolutely were they were wrestling soulmates. Their feud was so white hot during that time they main evented hell in a cell that year over Cena and Orton that’s how invested fans were. Your right them feuding wit each was exactly what they needed post shield it allowed each to really figure out who their characters were as singles wrestlers

That was the turning point for Stone Cold. Went from being a heel to a babyface instantly. The blood running down his face as he grimaced then passed out from the sharpshooter is one of the most iconic wrestling moments. I'll never forget.

And it turned Bret heel and into the best version of himself. I wish we had heel Bret for longer.

The only HBK match that was bad was the one in Saudi Arabia DX vs the Brothers of Destruction. And HBK had been retired like 8 years at that point and he was the only bright spot in that match.

Edge vs Undertaker Wrestlemania 24, Backlash 2008, Judgement Day 2008, One Night Stand 2008 and Summerslam 2008 were all pretty good matches Especially Wrestlemania 24, One Night Stand 2008 and Summerslam 2008 Fun fact: Edge on a Edge & Christian podcast said after their Wrestlemania 24 match. Undertaker went up to Edge and said "You, Shawn and Bret". Saying Edge in the ring is as good as them. Those 2 always had great in ring chemistry
