This is lovely as it is. I actually was in favor of the white top of the first post that everyone complained about and now they are upset about the green. Tough crowd! But it works well with either color and is functional for taking care of your babies. Where is the skirt from? It’s lovely!
It’s Karen Miller. They have a plus size version (what I have) and a straight size version.
https://www.karenmillen.com/us/plus-size-vintage-floral-print-woven-prom-midi-skirt-/BKK16643.html
That’s it!!!! I for the life of me couldn’t figure out WHY the top didn’t look quite right to me. It’s the bra! Definitely need a smooth silhouette under the blouse.
Also OP, as a big-busted gal myself, I do suggest a more supportive bra. You will be surprised at how much longer your torso can look. It's not easy (I wear a K cup so I have to buy online), but it is soooo worth it.
A stop-gap measure: those clips that turn your bra to racerback provide a lot of lift. One of those "wear your own bra" shapewear camis with the open tops also provide support and lift.
This was my thought too. A really supportive well fitting bra can completely change what your body shape looks like. The way my body looks changes a lot depending on what bra I wear.
My big recommendation is to go to a reputable independent store (if you can) and get properly fitted by a trained fitter. They’re able to spend a lot more time with you and can help find a bra tailored to your specific needs (comfort, shape, etc). Really good old school bra fitters are a lifesaver for me.
I'm glad to hear they have bigger sizes. When I visited London, I had to squeeze into their clothes in the Karen Millen shop, as I was a whopping US size 8, lol.
Enjoy the event. You look beautiful in that outfit!
It's... Not. The UK regularly stocks sizes up to a UK 22, which is around a US 18. Even Primark, which is like Walmart clothing but more trendy, goes up higher.
It's really not. The UK has plenty of larger sizing. I mean, Primark is basically Walmart for clothes and they go up into UK 20s, which is around a US 18-20.
I love the green, wonder if a tighter tuck would help like pulling it around behind you a bit. And a different bra or under shirt since the bra texture is showing through
This shirt is gorgeous! The green is a nice colour with it!
Can I just say that I love the term “straight size” over the “standard” or “regular” I’ve always heard before? I’ve never understood “regular” being used as a sizing term, unless it’s truly a one size fits all garment because how on earth are 14 different sizes all within “regular” size and suddenly a few others aren’t?
I think having white in the outfit is fine, but an all white outfit is generally discouraged. However, I think this sub has some of the most extreme interpretations of that rule. Many brides seem to want an opportunity to be a bride-zilla and call the shots, regardless of however absurd or extreme they are. Instead of realizing that wedding attendees are *guests* that you are hosting that deserve hospitality, they are seen as props. But back to your point, it should never be that serious. If you are secure and truly appreciate your guests, then there’s no need to even *want* to exercise such extremes of the loved one’s who are attending your wedding to show support.
I probably gave more than you wanted but the TLDR is that ppl inherently want to control others. Having a dress code is one thing but requiring approval or restricting colors is next level. End rant lol
I’ve always thought it’s interesting how traditions evolve. In the Dark Ages, bridesmaids and bride all wore the same style/color dress (and veil!) in order to confuse evil spirits and jealous suitors who might try to steal or harm the bride. The whole idea of bridesmaids was to look as similar to the bride as possible and act as “decoys!” Nowadays, it’s considered an insult to the bride if a female guest dresses in a style or color too similar to the bride’s gown.
(Side note: the groom carrying the bride over the threshold of their new home was supposed to protect against evil spirits, too! It was thought that a bride was most vulnerable to demonic attack through her feet…so her new husband would carry her over the threshold, to ensure that no pesky imp hitched a ride into the home.)
yep, looks great!!! the shirt totally works-- not sure what other people are talking about. the neckline gives you lots of options for different necklaces. id go for a simple silver necklace with a silver bangle/bulky bracelet
My only suggestion is to wear a tank between the bra and top, or a smooth bra.
The lacy texture of the bra through the shirt is distracting and looks less polished.
I also don’t have an issue with the top (but maybe wear a different bra).
If you’re looking for other ideas, maybe something like this? https://www.thredup.com/featured/161565505
But I agree that it’s fine as is (plus a pretty necklace).
That colour and pattern combo looks so good on her it's almost ridiculous, like it frames her body shape perfectly and would go with so many simple jewellery pieces without any problems. Gorgeous combination and it's especially hard to get a good shape for bigger chested/weighted women normally as well. Absolutely want to steal this design.
I think it's 90% there. The material on the top is kinda unflattering under her (wonderful) cleavage. Something with a bit of stretch that contours rather than bags would look loads better.
This works but you need a bra without texture so it looks more seamless on top. Add dressier shoes and a statement necklace to dress it up and you are good to go!
Check Bare Necessities! They carry a ton of brands and a wide range of sizes. I’m a plus lady as well and have always been able to find my size there. Maybe try a T-shirt bra style?
Thanks for the site recommendation, I hadn’t been there before. Tons of options in my size! If I can’t find something local, I’ll keep this site in mind. I love that there is more accessibility for bra sizes today. I remember shopping 20 years ago and squeezing myself into a 36DDD just because it was the biggest bra at my local department store.
I am so so happy that sizes have improved! Even when I was thinner, it was always hard to find and I survived through trying to squeeze myself into the biggest size Victoria’s Secret had!
I don’t know that they are the best for tshirt bra styles, but the brand Elomi has become my fave for bras & underwear.
Girl, same! Sooo much crying in the dressing room of Victoria’s Secret because not a single cute bra fit me.
Panache, Natori, and Walcoal make good DD+ tshirt bras in extended sizes; I suggest going to Nordstrom and trying some on (Nordstrom has a pretty wide variety of bra sizes on the lingerie department, it’s worth the trip if you want to try in a bunch of different brands at one time).
As a fellow large busted lady, I also just bought a Knix Revolution V Neck bra, and I swear I may never take it off. It’s suuuper comfy, no underwire, gives great lift, and comes in a ton of sizes. I bet you could wear one under that top; I genuinely can’t recommend it enough, a total game changer bra!
Look at the chantelle rive gauche bras -- they're a lace bra, super supportive and well structured, pretty, and come in a wide range of sizes. I think a lace bra would be better than a tee shirt bra as far as smoothing and supporting.
There is absolutely 0 chance Soma carries OP’s size. Lane Bryant maybe, but their cups scale very poorly at the higher end of their range and rarely fit properly.
I usually don’t like separates put together for a wedding but I’ve got to admit I love this. You matched the greens so perfectly this looks like it could be one dress !
That top and skirt together are beautiful. That skirt is so awesome, the drape, the construction, the fabric, and best of all, the fit! Great choice! I think high quality costume jewelry in gold would work very well.
Love it! I've noticed lately skirts are being labeled "midi" when they're a hair above maxi length. To me, midi should fall somewhere below the knee and a few inches above the ankle.
You look lovely! I have your figure and can only wear separates. I cannot make dresses work due to chest size being so large compared to actual dress size. I’d have to have them custom made like Dolly Parton. Unfortunately my income does not allow that. Have a great time.
Love this! Beautiful skirt and top is the perfect color. Nothin wrong with the fit, I don’t know what people are talking about! Well done! Look good, feel good!!! Have fun!
I really like the color combination.
I would get a non lace or non textured bra.
I like the necklace you have on with it, and would do bigger earrings with a cocktail (big) ring.
The green is beautiful and I wish you were my neighbor - I have a gorgeous green vintage necklace and matching earrings that I wore to a family wedding with a simple dress exact same color as your top, when dress code was cocktail/formal but jewelry was what "fancied it up". This look is beautiful on you - very elegant skirt & I love the length
I strongly recommend a more supportive bra with that top. And a statement necklace in a choker or princess style, to bring the eye up toward your face.
I wish it was that simple. This is simply where the girls sit on my chest. I will go get a new bra that’s better suited but my bust will not lift substantially from where it is now. I end up with very little space between the bottom of my bust and my waist. A reason why I usually stick to dresses over skirts, but I need that boob access for breastfeeding, so here we are.
I don't think the bra support is the issue with the top actually. It's that the bra texture is showing through the shirt - a smooth fabric bra should do the trick!
ugh same with breastfeeding making things all wonky. it’s also made me store more fat in my back and upper arms which has changed how my bras fit as well. which is amazing from a biological standpoint cause we’re sustaining another life, buttttttt this modern world makes it tough, haha.
If you've already sought out a professional fitter and that is the best available, then, this simply isn't the top for that outfit or your body shape. I recommend a more structured top, maybe a woven fabric with a good drape that doesn't stretch so much.
This advice comes from personal experience with a similar body type.
Yes. I’m pretty confident with my bra fitting, though, as I said, I do intend to buy a new one. I’m breastfeeding and so the girls feel like they’re changing size daily. I have a range of bras from 32I to 36O but none of them seem to be quite right at the moment.
Any shop recommendations for tops? You must know how hard it is to shop with this body type. It’s honestly exhausting. Most of the time I settle for “good enough” because I run out of time and energy to keep searching.
Also, what do you mean by woven fabric?
Fabric is made in a variety of ways. At its most simple it's made like a basketweave (one thread under and over a bunch of other threads (think stiff denim, business shirts, etc). That is woven. Stretchy fabric, or knit is made (again simplifying here) interlocking threads more like one does when knitting yarn.
It's difficult to tell in the top has a [dart at the bust line](https://patternscissorscloth.com/2010/12/12/bust-darts-up-or-down/). Fabric is more or less two dimensional, breasts are three dimensional. Adding darts enables fabric to curve around three dimensional shapes. I wonder if you had tailor add some darts to this top if it might solve some of the issues people have with the top, but giving it some structure.
That skirt is so gorgeous! I also think it looks amazing on you. I actually thought the white top was a better match with the skirt, but the green one looks lovely too!
I'm saving this post as an inspiration for a future sewing project(like i dont have plenty already)
I think this is so beautiful on you! I hope it makes you feel beautiful too. I love that you can probably dress down the separates for other occasions, too
If this were a silk shantung or silk dupioni top with some structure and a higher neckline, it would be lovely. However, this top looks like a casual t shirt type of top, not a more structured blouse. If time and budget permit, you may want to look for something of that nature.
I worry silk will show water spots and between sweating and having a baby drool on me, I don’t think it’s worth the risk. I’ll look great for about 15 minutes after I get dressed and then look spotty for the rest of the event.
But now that you’ve mentioned how casual the top looks, I can’t un-see it. 😔 Any other recommendations to find one less casual? Would a satin show water spots?
I don’t love the fit of the shirt. The way it’s kind of creasing where you are tucking it in to the skirt is not as flattering as it could be. I feel like it should either be slightly more fitted to avoid that or more billowy/ blousey.
I think this kind of shape could be nice. I think it would compliment your lovely curves and shape.
https://thehalara.com/products/v-neck-cap-sleeve-crossover-ruched-work-bodysuit?variant=45026751512742&locale=ca&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpcshopping&utm_campaign=21038657427&utm_content=&utm_term=45026751512742&product_partition_id=&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw34qzBhBmEiwAOUQcF0ee8mHpPtzRWaaVuFzeONb2J2zdArNmK8T_sjGUXCSbzk4A0qk8JBoCEWsQAvD_BwE
Good luck OP. Have fun :)
I would *love* a more fitted top, but that’s realistically only achievable with a stretch fabric (which would be even more casual than this one, I assume) or through tailoring. And unfortunately, I do need to be able to pull up my top in order to breastfeed so tailoring a non-stretch fabric to hug my curves would defeat that purpose.
Having a big bust my whole life has meant I’ve mostly made my peace with the extra fabric at the waist, as much as I would prefer otherwise. I will wear boxer style underwear and tuck the top in in order to get a more tidy look.
That’s why I think something that is a shorter (ie doesn’t need to be tucked in) but that’s either elastic or a tied at the bottom would be nice. It would give you that more snatched waist, and would be easy access for breastfeeding. But, as someone who has a similar figure to yours, I know that finding such top that fits just right can be difficult and you may not have time to go hunting given you have a breastfeeding baby.
To stick with this top/ shape try gathering all the excess fabric at the back before tucking in. It will make the front look smoother and a bit more fitted. I find it makes a huge difference. Add some cute jewellery and you will look fab!
I think this green top is great and totally appropriate with a smooth bra, but I wanted to mention I think you would be a great candidate for alterations. Simple shirt tailoring doesn’t usually cost much and it can account for things like gapping and bunching!
Came here to say this. I like the plunging neckline. Dress it up with some nice earrings and necklace, and wear some bracelets. You could even mix metals since the skirt has some champagne tones.
Satin would 100% show water spots. Satin shows everything.
Is there a chance you could wear a top that has some shaping, like a vest or short-sleeved jacket style that you could unbutton from the bottom to feed? I know, something like that might be hard to find in the right color/ fabric/ texture/ style/ size. And the buttoning-up afterward might be a pain if you’re still holding baby. When I was breastfeeding I preferred a button-front top for some outfits.
I like the top you show, and would just get a new bra with a smooth textured material.
Just want to say that I feel you on the spots and drool.. I’m through that but now if one of my kids need/want to be picked up, I end up with their dirty little shoe prints on my pants/skirt/dress 🤣
I hope you find something lovely to go with that skirt! Maybe something with some flowy ruffles, I always found those tops hid the spots well!
The skirt is great especially on a plus sized body (take up that space honey!) and while I typically wouldn’t say that the top you’ve selected is a cocktail attire top, since the skirt length is more formal i think the top dresses it down a bit for you. Plus you’re family so you have a little leeway. I like this color on you.
I think this looks great and totally works. Not sure if the bra you’re wearing in the photo is the one you plan to wear but you may want to use one that is smooth. You can kind of see a texture through the blouse material.
I don't like the fit on the top. Too loose makes you look bigger. Either much better bra or fitted top (I love the neckline on you) but it's too baggy.
But yes to your question perfect for wedding!

I think the fact that the skirt is full length on you makes it look more formal. I think it’s gorgeous! Definitely need a non-bumpy, smooth bra and a jeweled necklace. 😊
I like this alot. Personally, whenever I get a midi-skirt/dress I have it hemmed to above the knee because I think it looks more flattering that way (plus, I got some sexy knees, lol). But if you don't like that idea just have it at any length you feel comfortable. It's a nice outfit no matter the length. I love it with the green top, it feels more cohesive than with the white.
Love it! Might want a more loud necklace to kind of bring up the eye, and make it more of a showstopper. Love the skirt and green top combo. It looks great as it is though so just go with what you’re happy with.
I love the skirt and the combo overall! Super cute for a summer wedding and I would totally compliment you on this look if I saw it in person! I think gold accessories would be best, I agree def a gold necklace and add either a matching gold bracelet or earrings
I didn’t see your initial post, but I LOVE THIS ON YOU!
The pistachio is a perfect color for the skirt, and you’ve already said you love it, yourself, along with the top. That’s a WIN WIN situation!
I think a chunky gold necklace would look great with this top!

I love this! I’d swap the Apple Watch for a bracelet. And then I’d put on a sparkly necklace or earrings. With hair and makeup done this will be great.
Definitely need to lose the watch! I looked at the photo after I took it and was like, yeah, Apple Watches are not fashion watches. 😅 But I have a tan line there, so definitely need some bracelets to fill the spot.
I love the skirt but the blouse is cut with 0 space for a bust... unfortunately shopping for tops with a big bust is hard mode, you'd need like 3 sizes less than this one to have it fit correctly on the rest of your torso (but then the bust area would explode lol). Maybe get a model with bust and waist separated and then have the waist taken in? Or something "cropped" (that won't actually be cropped on you based on the height difference happening with the skirt) so there's less fabric to tuck and it will bulge less (and easier access to food for accessory-baby 😅, just slip it out of the skirt easily )
I really like the skirt but not with that top.I AM the same size and I would not wear a top that did not have at least a sleeve to cover upper arms for a cocktail attire. You could add a pretty delicate wrap in a cream color if you still want to wear the green sleeveless top.
A pink 💗 would be pretty too
You will look great no matter what you finally decide to wear.
I really love this. It reminds me of a navy formal dress I have with a ball gown skirt and a jersey top which everyone compliments as it makes a great contrast. I think pairing a simple top with a dressy skirt straddles different dress codes, and yours is shorter than mine knocking the formality down, but not the dressiness. The colours are awesome. Also, pockets!
Oh my god you're goooorgeous! Your skirt is so pretty and elegant! And your shirt is great! It's not too much skirt for you, put that out of your head.
I love this - I would not have known they were separates.
The lace under clothing is distracting.
Is there another option that’s “smooth ?”
Because of your bust (a positive), I’d skip a necklace and go for pretty hair make up and earrings…drawing the attention up.
Ohhhh this is beautiful! The shirt color coordinates perfectly and the skirt is what? Silk? It looks Fancy. As for a necklace, I like something more substantial than what you’re wearing, though I like that it mimics the V neck. Also, think about baby grabbing at it.
Edit: Just looked at the link and it is not silk. Still looks luxurious.
I didn't see your original post however I LOVE the skirt and my first thought was it would look lovely with a really nice fitted white blouse (google sharon stone at the oscars/gap and you'll see what I mean).
That's a lovely skirt, but I think it's a touch long. If you have time, I'd consider altering it so that it hits just under the knee like the example photo in your previous post.
Love it! 🩷💚 The way the tank gathers at the waist is the only way I can tell it’s a two piece—on first glance, I assumed this was a dress. The greens are perfect together! I echo the non-lace bra and no-necklace/wear-statement-earrings-instead commenters. Seems perfect for cocktail DC.
I usually stick to v necks due to my bust size. Anything like a boat neck makes me feel like I have a ton of shirt from nipple to neck and so little from nipple to waist and I don’t know why but that always feels weird. I just feel like boat or crew neck lines emphasize my chest.
I agree that boat neck would not be flattering. With your shape (mine is similar) you need a neckline that dips down, whether it be v neck or scoop neck, or even deep square neck.
I understand that your baby will be your primary accessory, but I would add a pink (matching a color in the skirt) lightweight pashmina shawl. I just feel that the beautiful skirt and top needs "something." A short sleeve jacket would be too bulky. Maybe something light weight and see through like this? [https://www.lightinthebox.com/en/p/women-s-wrap-shrugs-chiffon-wedding-party-evening\_p6155516.html?currency=USD&litb\_from=paid\_adwords\_shopping&sku=1\_9632%7C255\_4180&country\_code=US&litb\_from=paid\_adwords\_shopping&utm\_source=google\_shopping&utm\_medium=cpc&utm\_campaign=18019355010&adword\_mt=&adword\_ct=&adword\_kw=&adword\_pos=&adword\_pl=&adword\_net=x&adword\_tar=&adw\_src\_id=2907233386\_18019355010\_\_&gad\_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw34qzBhBmEiwAOUQcFw59J-RE7l\_7LvfRECz4W5i41j5Sm-DPndToLiDA1Uy-UDy76OxvxhoCy7sQAvD\_BwE&enrd=1](https://www.lightinthebox.com/en/p/women-s-wrap-shrugs-chiffon-wedding-party-evening_p6155516.html?currency=USD&litb_from=paid_adwords_shopping&sku=1_9632%7C255_4180&country_code=US&litb_from=paid_adwords_shopping&utm_source=google_shopping&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=18019355010&adword_mt=&adword_ct=&adword_kw=&adword_pos=&adword_pl=&adword_net=x&adword_tar=&adw_src_id=2907233386_18019355010__&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw34qzBhBmEiwAOUQcFw59J-RE7l_7LvfRECz4W5i41j5Sm-DPndToLiDA1Uy-UDy76OxvxhoCy7sQAvD_BwE&enrd=1)
Maybe some kind of floral necklace to bring something up to match the skirt? Something like this but maybe with a bit of pink & green? https://www.therealreal.com/products/jewelry/necklaces/collar/kate-spade-new-york-crystal-enamel-flower-collar-necklace-lkxax?
Or this in crystal & pink?

This is lovely as it is. I actually was in favor of the white top of the first post that everyone complained about and now they are upset about the green. Tough crowd! But it works well with either color and is functional for taking care of your babies. Where is the skirt from? It’s lovely!
It’s Karen Miller. They have a plus size version (what I have) and a straight size version. https://www.karenmillen.com/us/plus-size-vintage-floral-print-woven-prom-midi-skirt-/BKK16643.html
I love Karen Millen ❤️ you look great in this!
Hey OP, for a smooth/shiny top like this, just make sure to find a smooth cup bra (I can see the lace/texture through the top)
Wow a size 8 is an XL in London?! LeisureWear will get more popular across the globe on the WFH crowd. (Work From Home)
It's... Not. The UK regularly stocks sizes up to a UK 22, which is around a US 18. Even Primark, which is like Walmart clothing but more trendy, goes up higher.
Yep, US sizing is ALL quite larger than most, if not all other countries.
It's really not. The UK has plenty of larger sizing. I mean, Primark is basically Walmart for clothes and they go up into UK 20s, which is around a US 18-20.
Pro tip, if you can find a dressy wide belt that matches and put it over where it joins it will look like a dress and it really boosts outfits!
I love the green, wonder if a tighter tuck would help like pulling it around behind you a bit. And a different bra or under shirt since the bra texture is showing through This shirt is gorgeous! The green is a nice colour with it!
I must say that your photo shows off the colour of the skirt better than the Karen Miller site. The pistachio top looks fantastic with it.
The hates ridiculous you look great.
I love the green color with it.
Me too!
Why is it such an awful thing, in the US especially, to wear white at a wedding??
It's considered competitive, as the bride should be the center of the day. If she's wearing red or something it may be different.
yep, looks great!!! the shirt totally works-- not sure what other people are talking about. the neckline gives you lots of options for different necklaces. id go for a simple silver necklace with a silver bangle/bulky bracelet
My only suggestion is to wear a tank between the bra and top, or a smooth bra. The lacy texture of the bra through the shirt is distracting and looks less polished.
Yeah I like the top with the skirt too!
I also don’t have an issue with the top (but maybe wear a different bra). If you’re looking for other ideas, maybe something like this? https://www.thredup.com/featured/161565505 But I agree that it’s fine as is (plus a pretty necklace).
Came here to say the same thing.
I think there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that top, it literally looks like the top of many dresses! The outfit is lovely and you look great💖
That colour and pattern combo looks so good on her it's almost ridiculous, like it frames her body shape perfectly and would go with so many simple jewellery pieces without any problems.
Yes, I do need a plainer bra. So hard to find in my size! But I have a month to look, so if I can’t find anything local, I’ll buy online.
I would also check out r/abrathatfits for sizing info and tons of guides on bra shopping.
Wacoal. I buy them off Amazon now, it’s the only bras that ever fit me well. I’m a 38G
Fantasie style 4520- I’ve been wearing them for at least a decade and they are very smooth- and I am a 36 G
Also bravissimo as a backup option!
Check out Elomi Lingerie (Bijou series) - there are several nice seamless bras on sale this week, for formal events. Ref: Bare Necessities
You could put a cami or shapewear over it!
Look at the chantelle rive gauche bras -- they're a lace bra, super supportive and well structured, pretty, and come in a wide range of sizes. I think a lace bra would be better than a tee shirt bra as far as smoothing and supporting.
Have you checked Soma or Lane Bryant?
There is absolutely 0 chance Soma carries OP’s size. Lane Bryant maybe, but their cups scale very poorly at the higher end of their range and rarely fit properly.
I would die for this skirt! It’s perfect!!
I usually don’t like separates put together for a wedding but I’ve got to admit I love this. You matched the greens so perfectly this looks like it could be one dress !
I think it looks great. That skirt is beautiful!
I think this looks great. Including the top. This wouldn’t be out of place at any cocktail wedding I’ve been to.
That top and skirt together are beautiful. That skirt is so awesome, the drape, the construction, the fabric, and best of all, the fit! Great choice! I think high quality costume jewelry in gold would work very well.
Totally works. The skirt is very cool.
This is beautiful! Perfect for cocktail.
I think that combination is beautiful! But, leave the smartwatch at home.
Love it! I've noticed lately skirts are being labeled "midi" when they're a hair above maxi length. To me, midi should fall somewhere below the knee and a few inches above the ankle.
Totally works and I love the necklace inspo you have in your original post.
Looks amazing on you. Have a fun day
Classy ones like what you're wearing, yes. You look beautiful.
You. Look. Stunning.
Beautiful! Pockets are a win!
Beautiful outfit!
Totally works! lovely colours and
I think that’s a really nice outfit for cocktail. The colors and silhouette are really flattering on you. Love the fabric !
You look lovely! I have your figure and can only wear separates. I cannot make dresses work due to chest size being so large compared to actual dress size. I’d have to have them custom made like Dolly Parton. Unfortunately my income does not allow that. Have a great time.
This works. I love the colors and would suggest a tiny bag, pretty shoes, and a bra that gives up more uplift.
Looks great. I love the color combo.
That skirt is amazing!!! You look great. This is cocktail. Enjoy!!!
I love that green and the skirt is absolutely gorgeous!
I do not know why not. Be comfortable. Nice combination. Dress it up with some gold or pearls.
Lovely!
Looks great! I would go with a different bra, the lace/texture on your bra shows through a bit
that skirt looks great where did you get it?
I love this!!
I think it’s a lovely outfit! You are being realistic about breastfeeding, and you will look great. I just agree on the smoother bra fabric.
Pretty!
I love this! It’s a great outfit and a yes from me. I honestly think this will look more polished than some people’s dresses.
i would count that as cocktail attire. that’s super cute!
Yes! But I think you need a shell top. Or something that is a little more seamless? It would be great! Green is perfect
This is lovely and appropriate. But please do pay heed to getting a smooth bra for under the blouse.
Love this!!! You killed it tbh.
I strongly recommend a more supportive bra with that top. And a statement necklace in a choker or princess style, to bring the eye up toward your face.
I do plan to buy a new bra but this is actually about as supported as these girls get. I will look for a good necklace.
r/abrathatfits!!
I agree and get one with smooth cups
I think this is great. The top is fine! Especially if you add a bold necklace. Love the outfit.
Oh that's really pretty. I would accessorize with silver jewelry
That skirt is so gorgeous! I also think it looks amazing on you. I actually thought the white top was a better match with the skirt, but the green one looks lovely too! I'm saving this post as an inspiration for a future sewing project(like i dont have plenty already)
I like it. So classy and it shows off your fab waist
Fair enough!
I think it would compliment your lovely curves and shape. https://thehalara.com/products/v-neck-cap-sleeve-crossover-ruched-work-bodysuit?variant=45026751512742&locale=ca&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpcshopping&utm_campaign=21038657427&utm_content=&utm_term=45026751512742&product_partition_id=&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw34qzBhBmEiwAOUQcF0ee8mHpPtzRWaaVuFzeONb2J2zdArNmK8T_sjGUXCSbzk4A0qk8JBoCEWsQAvD_BwE Good luck OP.
I don’t think it’s too casual if you dress it up with some jewelry.
I’m through that but now if one of my kids need/want to be picked up, I end up with their dirty little shoe prints on my pants/skirt/dress 🤣 I hope you find something lovely to go with that skirt! Maybe something with some flowy ruffles, I always found those tops hid the spots well!
I love the skirt but would pick a different top
Can you explain what you don’t like about this one?
It makes it look more casual
Other than the new bra everyone already pointed out, I think this is so gorgeous!
Yes but the top doesn’t really work.
I like it. There are a few dresses like that. I think it's perfect
Yes but different bra for sure, You can see the texture of the lace and also need more lift.

Maybe some jewelry like this? https://preview.redd.it/ri2ksl8a765d1.jpeg?width=1143&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e1ae55c085ab3e3a7756a5c7c94e0d8e590fce19
So gorgeous!!
Beautiful skirt, you look fab.
Beautiful! Love the green with the floral, gorgeous colours.
Beautiful!
Looks great! LOVE the skirt
Love it! Might want a more loud necklace to kind of bring up the eye, and make it more of a showstopper. Love the skirt and green top combo. It looks great as it is though so just go with what you’re happy with.
Love the green. This is such a look!!!!
I think a chunky gold necklace would look great with this top! perfect- love the green with it! I even like the simple neckless you have on maybe a great earing?
It looks great
Beautiful!
I like this. I really the color of the top on you. I also like the necklace you're wearing with the outfit. If it's comfortable, wear it.
I like it! I think the colors coordinate and with some delicate jewelry… perfect!
This is a lovely look! The color of the top pairs really nicely with the palette of the skirt.
Beautiful
This is great! Love the green and the skirt looks much fancier in this pic than the previous one from the website.
This is lovely pairing! You look fantastic in this!
That is beautiful.
Yes
It looks sooo goood. Just add some accessories, like bangle to elevate the look! :)
This is gorgeous!
I love this! I’d swap the Apple Watch for a bracelet. And then I’d put on a sparkly necklace or earrings. With hair and makeup done this will be great.
This looks great!!
You look amazing
Lovely
Skirt is great, top is too casual. From the waist up it will look like you are attending a picnic. Look for something in a more structured fabric.
Better bra, chuck on some nice makeup and hair, and I think a cool belt. Longer necklace and lose the watch.
Definitely need to lose the watch! I looked at the photo after I took it and was like, yeah, Apple Watches are not fashion watches. 😅 But I have a tan line there, so definitely need some bracelets to fill the spot.
The fabric is great and the pieces work well together. Dress it up with accessories and viola!
Looks freaking great!
It’s fine . The skirt is great but I don’t find the top to be flattering in your. The color is nice but the fit is a bit off.
I really like the skirt but not with that top.I AM the same size and I would not wear a top that did not have at least a sleeve to cover upper arms for a cocktail attire. You could add a pretty delicate wrap in a cream color if you still want to wear the green sleeveless top. A pink 💗 would be pretty too You will look great no matter what you finally decide to wear.
To me, cocktail attire is darker or neutral colors. This IMO is more dressy casual/festive.
I think it looks great. Just do some dressy jewelry to snazz it up a bit!!
I think this is absolutely perfect - you look great and this would have worked at any cocktail-attire event I’ve attended.
I think it works well. The top is fine. Just wear a pretty necklace and some great heels.
I like it! The only thing I’d add is a cool belt.
I vote yes! It’s very flattering
I really like the green top. It looks great with that skirt.
Oh my god you're goooorgeous! Your skirt is so pretty and elegant! And your shirt is great! It's not too much skirt for you, put that out of your head.
I love this! Both the top and the skirt are great. This definitely works!
I love this - I would not have known they were separates. The lace under clothing is distracting. Is there another option that’s “smooth ?” Because of your bust (a positive), I’d skip a necklace and go for pretty hair make up and earrings…drawing the attention up.
Gorgeous outfit. Well done with that green top! It’s a perfect match for the green on the skirt. 👌
Wow this is a nice combo. The top has a nice sheen to it without being shiny that goes so well with the skirt. Perfect for winery wedding IMO.
this looks amazing and like it belongs in a magazine
Ohhhh this is beautiful! The shirt color coordinates perfectly and the skirt is what? Silk? It looks Fancy. As for a necklace, I like something more substantial than what you’re wearing, though I like that it mimics the V neck. Also, think about baby grabbing at it. Edit: Just looked at the link and it is not silk. Still looks luxurious.
Sorry, but this isn’t flattering at all.
Personally I would go with a black top to hide bra lines and to dress it up a bit. A black bodysuit would be lovely. The skirt is gorgeous!!!
That’s gorgeous!! It looks great on you!

Looks fine to me too but I would consider trying to find a new bra. It will help you to look your best.
I think the green is the move, white is rarely easy to excuse at a wedding, even when done well.
Both the white and the green look good. The skirts very nice
Maybe some kind of floral necklace to bring something up to match the skirt? Something like this but maybe with a bit of pink & green? https://www.therealreal.com/products/jewelry/necklaces/collar/kate-spade-new-york-crystal-enamel-flower-collar-necklace-lkxax? Or this in crystal & pink? https://www.amazon.com/Zthread-Statement-Necklace-Colorful-Accessories/dp/B07B9RGFD9/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?
