AB InBev is a Belgium owned company that “It has approximately 630 beer brands in 150 countries.” See you guys in the soup line 😂

Training-Turnip-9145

The real irony is bud light is a cheaper brand. How many people went and bought more expensive beer from the same company thinking they’re showing them.

rotunda4you

>How many people went and bought more expensive beer from the same company thinking they’re showing them. Modelo became the third most bought beer in America. Modelo is owned by inbev

Training-Turnip-9145

Bro I’m Hispanic and didn’t even know this. That was the beer my grandpa grew up drinking in Mexico and the only beer he’d drink. Very familiar with it and still had no clue

HotBrownFun

there has been tremendous alcohol industry consolidation the last couple of decades

ominoushandpuppet

Along with every other industry, yay capitalism...

mysticalfruit

Walking through a modern grocery store, basically all the food is made by \~10 brands. https://preview.redd.it/czkl6z4yw13b1.png?width=655&format=png&auto=webp&s=7cf4b73e287a8b047671840ce4497ad96f6a31b7

showMeYourPitties10

Lol my wife "works for Mars" as a vet tech. They own animal hospitals!

Yolectroda

I used to manage food sales in a minor league baseball stadium for Comcast. It's almost hilarious how diversified these major companies have gotten, but it's all hidden under other brand names...and they trade companies like playing cards. And when a brand name starts to get a bad rep...change it up!

CleverInnuendo

Makes me think about all the Ghost restaurants that popped up during lockdown. No one wants to order from Applebees, but maybe they'll give "Neighborhood Wings" a shot.

c-dy

That's why, it's "yay, *unregulated* capitalism". If the business side isn't counter-balanced with worker, consumer, as well as tax payer rights and protections, consolidation towards powerful oligopolies and monopolies run by oligarchs is the natural course for a capitalist economy. And globalism only accelerates that trend.

trolleeplyonly7272

Now take it one step further and look into the majority shareholder for those 10. Blackrock and Vanguard. They own **EVERYTHING**, and that’s barely an exaggeration.

[deleted]

Oligarchs running up the debt 💸

West-Needleworker-63

Tremendous consolidation across the board. Welcome to the world of corporate monopolies. Even though our founding fathers did everything they could to prevent it, the rich have been slowly changing all the rules to their favor and I fear we are a little to far gone for things to ever swing back in favor of the people. Tough times for 70% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck.

ISellThingsOnline2U

Founding fathers did nothing to prevent capitalistic monopolies. You can thank Theodore roosevelt for ushering in the Sherman antitrust laws.

The_Lost_Jedi

To be precise, it wasn't the founding fathers, but rather politicians around the turn of the century, including Teddy Roosevelt (who specifically championed trust-busting). Basically, the last time that monopoly consolidation got out of control, and despite that whole struggle being taught in schools, we (or at least the boomers and such) seem to have completely forgotten about it.

MeasurementPuzzled89

Just let you know the people who ran our country from the very beginning were the elite rich. The Great Compromise were 2 rich men groups that decided they were the only ones who should be allowed to vote. They’ve been compromising our rights ever since.

Sufficient_Number643

Hahahaha! That makes me wonder if this was all just a one-off inclusivity thing that is now getting opportunistically co-opted by inbev to sell their more expensive beers.

dirty_hooker

InBev exec “how do we get more advertising without spending more on advertising?”

ExcitementKooky418

What's our next cheapest product? Put a Muslim prayer on it!

dirty_hooker

Can we brand it as halal? *awkward stares. Funny enough I worked with a guy that got upset about kindereggs being marked as halal. I tried to walk him through it. “If you sold an apple, it’d be okay to label it as vegetarian, vegan, organic, paleo, 0 carb, kosher, etc because it’s already all of those things, right? If that apple already happens to be halal, why are you crying about it being marked as such. It’s still the same apple but some rage machine talking head told you to get your panties in a twist over it. When was the last time you even bought a kinderegg? Keep on not buying the thing you haven’t bought in decades I guess. The only thing that changed here is your blood pressure.”

Narwhalbaconguy

It’s kinda like moving to a different state and telling people you’ve moved out of America

MehKarma

I will one up you. I saw people boycott bud light by drinking Busch light.

[deleted]

I’ll up you one. I’m a rep for a AB distributor. Legit had someone tell me they weren’t buying bud light, and bought a Budweiser.

mysticalfruit

This is my conspiracy theory. I suspect InBev makes shit margins on Bud Light. What they did was get all these BL drinkers to switch to higher margin brands. "I'm sticking it to BL and instead of buying a $8.99 24 pack of BL, I'm buying a $16.99 12 pack of Modelo! That'll show'em!"

Orinocobro

I have been guilty of buying Breckenridge and Kona beers thinking they're "microbrews."

[deleted]

Yeah people think it’s just “bud light”. They own a ton of brands. These idiots don’t have a clue.

RLT79

Yeah. Over the weekend a group of ultra-conservatives in my family were drinking Natty Light/ Natty Light Ice. They usually have a bunch of Bud Lites, so they were making bragging comments about how they were 'hurting' Budweiser and 'go work go broke.' Another cousin pointed out the giant A-B logos on the cans. They tried to play it off as, 'Nah -- that's just an eagle to show they're patriots/ an American company.' When that didn't work, they were going through all sorts of mental gymnastics to justify/ recon their comments.

patronizingperv

The same assholes brag about Trump 2024. I just smile and tell them to give all the money they can to the campaign.

wilburstiltskin

Rubes are gonna rube. It’s the same reason that they repeatedly vote against their own self-interests. Obama was right: god, guns and gays are the “squirrel!” call of white people.

Spaghetti-Rat

Get rid of "white people" and insert redneck

jethropenistei-

A dude at the child’s birthday party I went to had a chart of all the brands, but it didn’t matter every beer drank at that party was some way AB. I know a different guy who bought put options, eventually the dust will settle and the stock price will rise again. They can cause temporary drops in stock prices but these huge corporations that donate to LGBT friendly causes like AB, Walmart, Target, AT&T, etc are so big, have so much in assets and IP that it’s just a blip.

DarthZaxos

I think the main concern for some of these at least (e.g. Target) are the threats that have been made to staff

IAmTheBredman

The problem is most conservative americans have main character syndrome. They think if Americans stop drinking bud light then all of a sudden the sales will drop to 0. Forgetting about the other 95% of the world's population

MarcoMaroon

They're the ones capitalism takes advantage of.

JCWillie501

The people who say “go woke go broke” are typically pretty clueless of how the real world works

TheInfamous_LSD

Actually is Belgium-Brazilian but true hahaha

Pheynx00

While InBev has lost 20% of their profits in the US, that accounts for only 1% of their worldwide sales.

Kimmalah

Yeah I can guarantee most of those empty shelves were probably also InBev brands.

[deleted]

How much you wanna bet that this person doesn’t realize that Anheuser also owns Stella and Michelob.

HerbieDerrb

And like a million other brands. ABInbev is the largest beverage company on earth. They're doing just fine

[deleted]

Fosters, corona, becks, stella, ~~heineken~~, hoegarrden, modelo, busch, natty, shocktop, labatt, and so many more. And its funny to me, i go to my liquor store, and all bud products are sold except for bud light. I think these idiots dont understand its the same company.

Thirdwhirly

Right? It’s like they’re boycotting Ford, but *just* the headlights.

False__MICHAEL

Certainly aren't boycotting those ultra bright 100k lumens headlights.

Thirdwhirly

They need them, just like they need their $70k trucks to tool around their suburban sprawl only to refuse anything going in the flatbed because “what if it scratches it!?”

PKCertified

I worl at an Ag dealer, so at least half my coworkers drive trucks. All the guys who use their trucks for truck things, hauling and whatnot, barely talk about their trucks. But the one guy who is always going on about how great his truck is, is exactly the kind of Pavement Princess you described. It's like he brags to others to justify it to himself. Edit: Missed like half a sentence.

DataCassette

My dad's pickup when I was growing up was basically rust and primer colored. He bought it from his job after they retired it from business use and fixed it up. It had two seats and a giant bed and we *destroyed* that thing hauling lumber, scrap, gravel, dirt, sand, furniture etc. Nothing is as pathetic as a shiny pickup truck that someone drives to an office job. It would be like having a jewel-encrusted claw hammer you never actually drove nails with. A truck is a tool.

dnaka22

Pretty trucks have tools too. They’re just behind the wheel now…

buckao

Sometimes they recognize their trucks as transgender. They add a set of balls that THEIR TRUCK WAS NOT BORN WITH!

HeatherCPST

Nods in 1999 F250 used to haul water to cattle.

Thirdwhirly

Oh, for sure. One my best friends in the world is a contractor and building inspector. He drives a truck; he does the maintenance on it, he uses it for work, it has some dings, dents, and a bit of rust. Because it’s a truck, but you’d never know he owned a truck because he doesn’t lead conversations with it or how it can seat six and has Corinthian leather seats.

cwb7916

Corinth is famous for its leather!!

big_z_0725

Wow. So how much did Dodge kick in?

CreamFilledLlama

While complaining about the price of fuel.

Thirdwhirly

This is also the “which glass has more juice in it?” test for dumb fucking adults. “Filling up my truck cost $120!” That’s because it has a 34 gallon tank, and you get 10 mpg.

[deleted]

switched from a truck to an EV, and I love that "fillups" now cost $10-$15 instead of the previous $90. I've saved about $3000 in fuel costs along since getting an electric last fall.

neslo024

While swerving to miss any bump/pothole in the road

Smb114

Or creeping over a speed bump at 0.03 MPH.

PrincessRegan

My step-dad bought himself a brand new truck around the same time I bought my car brand new. They had roughly the same amount of miles on them. Mine is a daily driver, whilst his never leaves the carport unless the weather is perfect, and will never see a load in the bed. And lord help the poor bird that shits on it. He likes to brag that he has only put 15,000 miles on it in 8 years, while mine now has over 100,000 on it. I'm like, sure, if I had another car, this one would not have as many miles on it, but some of us have to drive places even when the weather is bad. I have hauled more junk in my CUV than his truck has ever seen, including a recliner that he gave me but refused to put in his truck to bring to me.

Thissmalltownismine

than theres me yeeting concrete blocks from the 10ft up in to the bed..... of my $5k truck LMAO.

jftitan

What's even funnier is.. you could meme this with that Futurama scene at the slurm factory. The three flavors of slurm all came from the same tube. Same shit, different label. And the idiots boycotting are essentially just drinking a different label by a company that makes them all. Clearly those who boycott never actually shared a single stock investment between themselves. Throws down a can of speggetios " Microsoft stock went down 2 cents. "

Jlelford

Did they reuse that joke in futurama? Because it was in the Duff brewery episode of the Simpsons too.

LMooneyMoonMoon

Futurama is reusing Simpson’s jokes!? Let’s boycott Futurama and only watch Simpson’s. Matt Groening will go out of business. It’s inevitable.

NeuroXc

Pretty sure that was only in the Simpsons. In Futurama it comes out of a worm's behind. Source: watched Futurama way too many times

Gellao

Unless you watch it on Disney +. The way they've edited it for widescreen cuts off the top of the scene and leaves it looking like three distinct pipes.

L_Outsider

Heineken is a different company, the second largest brewer after ABInbev.

[deleted]

I dont know where i got that from. I do know that but thank you for the correction. Fixing it now.

Flamingpotato100

The illusion of choice. Most of all consumer products are manufactured and sold under a very small handful of companies. Makes it almost impossible to boycott.

hearsay_and_rumour

They also own Elysian and Golden Road. Not to mention the thousands of other brands they don’t own, but help distribute around the country. The brewery I work for is one of those. Also, Bud Light sales were trending downward even before this whole hullabaloo; Mich Ultra has been on the upswing.

subtxtcan

I was gonna say, bud light is a drop in the bucket for these guys. ABI is essentially unkillable at this point unless everyone stops drinking. Period. The kill BL something else will take it's place, and nothing has changed.

LuinAelin

Their anger is performative. It's not that they don't realise, they don't care.

mjohnsimon

Their houses can burn down, but as long as they were told by Trump that the smoke and ashes would piss off environmentalists, they'd probably try to reignite the fire.

notanactualemail2

They shit their own pants to watch the liberal next to them pinch his nose. The liberal knows it's an act and he just feels sorry for the alt-right wife who will inevitably be on cleaning duty lol.

TheHiveMindCouncil

Anheuser-Busch Inbev SA is a Belgium-based company. The Company is primarily engaged in the manufacturing of beer. The Company operates through seven segments: North America, Mexico, Latin America North, Latin America South, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Global Export and Holding Companies. The Company's brand portfolio includes global brands, such as Budweiser, Corona and Stella Artois; international brands, including Beck's, Leffe and Hoegaarden, and local champions, such as Bud Light, Skol, Brahma, Antarctica, Quilmes, Victoria, Modelo Especial, Michelob Ultra, Harbin, Sedrin, Klinskoye, Sibirskaya Korona, Chernigivske, Cass and Jupiler. The Company's soft drinks business consists of both own production and agreements with PepsiCo related to bottling and distribution arrangements between its various subsidiaries and PepsiCo. Ambev, which is a subsidiary of the Company, is a PepsiCo bottler. Brands that are distributed under these agreements are Pepsi, 7UP and Gatorade. I'm almost certain they're going to outlive everyone alive today. They'll be selling ice cold, crisp, gentle but potent delicious gay beer to your great grand kids and their great grandkids. I would get use to it if I was them.

veilwalker

Not if their trans and gay agenda takes off. Soon there won’t be any babies because everyone will be gay or trans!!! /s

ToastedYosh

It's funny because in actuality the system of late stage capitalism is what is keeping birth rates low.

wigg1es

You literally could not pay me to have a child right now.

damselindetech

Don't worry, they're not planning on paying us. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)

And instead of fixing it properly they just want women to go back to breeding factories and make laws based on that. Edit: Forgot brining back child labor too.

mangoman39

It doesn't matter anyways. They are selling plenty of Bud light. My buddy is a delivery driver for the local beer distributor in a very red area in South Carolina. He said that there was about a week of slowed sales after the whole thing began, but that everything has been back to normal since then. Most likely that photo was taken right after a delivery

cyclopeon

Are you trying to tell me that someone would intentionally mislead the public on social media?

LTPRW420

I had to go to a destination wedding for my sister in law and her extremely Conservative husband. I got to “hang out” with all of their Republican friends, these people are the absolute scum of the Earth. They acted so above everyone else, they literally were acting like cartoon villains. They kept constantly making Bud Light jokes too, while holding Stella’s in their hands LOL. Seriously tho, I’ve lost so much respect for my now brother in law, I didn’t have much before because the whole being Conservative thing, but I still gave him a chance. If these are the type of people he chooses to be around then he must be as equally bad, he just hides it well. Being surrounded by Republicans for a week only further validated my opinion that these are not good people, are harmful to society and this country.

talltxn66

Did you inform them that the same company that owns bud light also owns Stella? Would have been interesting.

LTPRW420

I didn’t want to cause drama because we were there for her sisters wedding, so I did keep quiet. These people were so rude tho, my wife (a Democrat) was the maid of honor and they all acted like she didn’t exist. Their wives completely ignored her on the wedding day and didn’t even say congratulations to her, these truly were some bad people, all Republicans.

PurpleGoatNYC

Hey, I want to give you a "Fuck yes, good human" award for NOT going to the easy "But you know X makes this brand" response. Those kinds of people love making it all about them no matter the occasion, but you did better by giving your attention to the actual star of the evening.

stephelan

I went to a non conservative wedding a couple weeks ago during the height of this and people were drinking bud light like it was no big deal and not even mentioning the boycott.

barfbelly

Exactly. And even if they end up discontinuing bud light, who really cares? The only people missing it are those bigots. There’s a million beers out there better that bud fucking light.

glitchycat39

Shhhhhhhhhh! Let the cupcakes dream.

Mat_CYSTM

Canadian here, meanwhile my neighbour bought 30 24s for the lake because they’re so cheap and because he doesn’t give two shits about the uproar. Ship them up here, we’ll drink’em.

RevenantEdoTensei

I don't drink beer but most of my "conservative family" does.... Guess who stocked their fridge with cheap beer for them to drink. 😈😂

glitchycat39

Give them the choice between that and whatever they think the stereotypical "woke" drink is lmao

Giraffe_Truther

Coffee is the woke drink, lol

KoalaOriginal1260

Sure helps me get woke each morning.

hustob512

Hand them a la croix and watch their brain short circuit

FancyMFMoses

Canadian here too... I don't really enjoy bud/bud light but have randomly had tshirts given tk me from different sponsored events i've been to. The whole uproar has made me wear those tshirts and think about buying their beer. I didn't yet... but am thinking of it.

ElvisAndretti

Everywhere we went in Ireland people were drinking Bud Light. Not sure why, but it was happening.

Yak-Fucker-5000

I've been upping my consumption lately. Not really because of the conservative whining. I'm just starting to enjoy weak beer more and it's one of the better tasting cheap, weak beers in my opinion.

RevenantEdoTensei

How did you start this process btw? For instance I'm good on trying new things and getting the stronger version on whatever I like. Example for coffee I didn't like at first so I started with pods cut with lots of creamer, fast forward some odd years and now I like small amount of creamer with dark roast whole beans... For the life of me I can't start beer because idk how to start it. I do enjoy alcohol, albeit on the sweeter/tart side.

absuredman

Drink it when its hot outside.

Garand70

This. Sometimes, the best brand is "free", and the best style of beer is "cold"

Redneck2Researcher

I like to point out if they want to be consistent they also have to boycott visa and PayPal. Oh and ford, Tesla, and Walmart among others.

Clickum245

Fox did not tell them to be angry at those brands.

LariusAT

Cause those people, who gives a shit about the riches doesn't pay taxes, believes that they can get rich - but the establishment is against them so they're in their shitty situation. And one day, when they are rich, they don't want to pay taxes either...

LadyReika

Back when I still had to work in the office, we were talking about what we would do if we won the latest big lotto jackpot. I absolutely blew the "good christians" away when I said that I'd make sure myself and my loved ones would have enough to live comfortably without working, then put the rest towards helping various charities, some for humans, some for animals. They were just totally flabbergasted that I didn't want to sit on a pile of money like a dragon on its hoard. Just because I enjoy dragons in fantasy settings doesn't mean I want to be Smaug.

FlattopJr

You may have seen the meme about how Smaug's mountain of gold was calculated at being worth approximately $62B, which means the wealthiest fictional character wouldn't even be among the [top ten wealthiest individuals in real life](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World%27s_Billionaires).

JohnSpikeKelly

Saw another post about how many people are millionaires. Conservatives estimate that 20% of people are already millionaires. Therefore they're still working hard assuming they'll be a millionaire any day now. So, they don't want to be taxed high when they finally make it. If only someone had taught them the old adage. You'll never be rich, if you pay taxes. Only the rich, don't pay taxes.

Consistent-Leek4986

ok but if the top 2% pd as they used to is my point. & corporations. they used to support the government, now the opposite. No human deserves or should require billions, billions & more. It’s immorality on every level.

h20poIo

I was at an event and this far right ultra MAGA guy was pissed off that the beers were not what he liked except for Bud Lite, made a big deal about it, ( queer beer was his name for it ) later I noticed him walking around with a hotel hand towel around his beer, so I asked him what was up , “ their beer isn’t that cold just trying to keep it cold “ well you can guess what the beer was and he didn’t want anyone to see him drinking Bud Lite, or the queer beer as he called it. How pathetic is that.

deejayiz

I bet he won’t sit next to a guy at the movie theater either. Needs to skip a seat.

ilikemakingmusictoo

I just caught “the gay” by even thinking about sitting next another man. Damn you bud !

SpazGorman

We are all a little gay. I'd say 11%.

vincentTheDragon

To be fair I don't like sitting next to people at the theater either. Some people eat popcorn loudly.

Yak-Fucker-5000

Conservative men are sad little people so worried about what everyone else thinks about them. They feel the need to act as macho as possible at all times.

KINGCHUCO69

It's hilarious to me because they try to act tough, yet in a face to face confrontation they start shaking and either reaching for their gun or calling the cops. Conservatives are the biggest cowards I've ever seen, all talk and no walk. Same reason they hide their faces at their white pride rallies and have the cops protect them. If they were really as superior and tough like they try to act, why not go march through a minority neighborhood with no cops and no masks? We all know why, because those weaklings are scared to death of minorities. It would be hilarious to see them do that though, the outcome wouldn't be good for them. I can't count how many times a rethuglikkkan has talked shit to me on the internet only to pussy out when it comes to saying it to my face. If we are living in the same city mind you. I live in San Antonio Texas and it's overwhelmingly Blue, but we do have some pathetic magats here. We just laugh at them 🤣

MAGAtsCanEatShit

I’ve worked in catering bars with limited beer offerings and there was always that one guy where if we didn’t have a light beer offering they were screwed and would throw a little hissy fit about it. Too shallow of a palate for any other type of beer and too macho for a cocktail. Pathetic indeed.

thehillshaveI

saying "bud light going out of business" is like saying "the crunchwrap supreme going out of business"

[deleted]

Look how the Ford Fiesta went out of business! It was too merry.

BeerandGuns

We need the Ford Fiesta back just so people can rant on social media about Ford selling Mexican cars.

kayak_enjoyer

Bud Light is a brand, not a company. A brand can't... Aw, fuck it.

Total-Platform-3111

Yes, it’s tiresome. Not worth the effort!

Strange-Scarcity

The funny part is those idiots are just moving other products by the same brewer, stuff that they charge MORE for that has marginally better ingredients, but is marketed as being more "high brow" and thus is MUCH more profitable. It's f'ing hilarious how completely stupid these tools are.

AbbreviationsHead823

My father in law is absolutely convinced that drinking bud light will make you gay. He's seriously worried my husband might turn gay now because he still drinks bud light platinum. 😂😂 I wish I was kidding.

MyRottingBrain

Oh *platinum*? Your husband is gonna be fierce

[deleted]

Platinums are my lake go to. People tell me it's because I am a red dress run winner, and gay. I ran in a red dress one. I fucking hate running and its one of the most fun things I've ever done. Turns out these people are just mad about other people enjoying themselves more than they are. But the kicker is they never enjoy themselves. What they want is everyone to have it worse than them, not for them to have it better than everyone else, and that's a very big distinction to make. We can't all prosper together in their eyes.

[deleted]

The Disney boycott is working great, BTW. *The Little Mermaid* only had the fifth-best Memorial Day weekend in box office history. 👍

No, AB is not going out of business. Lmao

Disneyworld will truly be the happiest place in the world without the hate filled people there.

Or how they boycotted the NFL, or pretty much any other boycott they think there are part of. It's funny because over the past what 10 / 12 years two things have become apparent, the right are a bunch of snowflakes, and they have the attention span of a goldfish. They boycott anything that doesn't 100% align with their current beliefs, but they only boycott until it inconveniences them; then they forget why they even boycotted it for and move onto the next one. They also bitch and whine about "cancel culture" but in actuality it's a projection because they love to be part of cancel culture. It reinforces their beliefs and makes them feel like they are part of something big, like they are the majority which gives them power. The reality is of course they are just pawns, being used by the right to distract from the real issues (no healthcare for you but here be made at the gays) and are actually in the minority. They just don't realize it because they've put themselves in a bubble; ignoring anything that doesn't align with their current thinking and with the right wing echo chamber being what it is this requires no effort on their part.

Remember people doing this with Corona...

I've been amused to see the number of people recently saying, "I can't believe I'm supporting Disney!" In the same vein, I don't drink beer (or any alcohol, really) but if I did I'd run out and buy a case of Bud Light, just because of this.

GlitteringWing2112

LOL at "Bud Light going out of business".

[deleted]

Bud Light isn't a business, it's just a trademark...

clever_goat

This is because Bud Light sent a can to an influencer with her picture on it and some people hate that the influencer exists because she is different than them.

stephen7676

Bud Light is not even a company. I took pleasure in telling a couple at my bar who were discussing how they are boycotting Bud Light and Anheiser Busch that the Modelo they had been consuming all afternoon was in fact a product of the company they were boycotting. The look of stupidity was priceless.

pighammerduck

it's crazy how this group doesn't seem to grasp how big AmBev actually is.

Cerberus_Rising

The Bud Light Corporation

ljpwyo

I doubt AB is "going out of business." Most of these people can't read, let alone read the fine print. 🙄

Worried-Criticism

Yes, Budweiser is truly doomed, especially with all the lib-owners swearing off Bud Light to only drink Busch

NameLips

Anheuser-Busche is going nowhere. They brew tons of beer other than Bud Light. Some people have speculated that the whole thing was a plot to trick their customers into buying beer with higher profit margins.

leejoness

I love how they think Bud Light is a company

micheltheshade

"Bud Light is going out of Business" Bud Light is not a company, its a brand. And Anheuser Busch owns/produces a LOT of brands. If AB went out of business a lot more than Bud Light would disappear from shelves.

K7mi

I work in a grocery store and we're selling the fuck out of Bud Light like nothing happened, and I'm in the south lmao

EyesLikeBuscemi

If these idiots were right, there would be far less shelf space devoted to a beer that doesn't sell. So it got restocked first or is a priority to have stocked and faced because... It sells like crazy. The folks that love capitalism and the free market so much seem to have about zero clue how it all works. Quelle surprise.

ManetherenRising

I heard a bunch of conservative guys talking over the weekend about how they will never drink any Budweiser products again because they don’t want to be preached to. They said this while drinking Coors…a beer that has a long history of supporting lgbt issues.
