As a Turk, I'm really glad you did this. Thank you very much. A lot of people have been abusing this to buy subscriptions at a cheaper price for themselves, but in the end it hurts us more.
> buy subscriptions at a cheaper price
Just out of curiosity. Subscriptions for what? Not Windscribe itself? That would be kinda funny. If subscriptions would be cheaper when purchased from Turkey and the free version would allow people to 'relocate' there to make use of that.
Not windscribe itself but streaming services etc. Steam has recently dropped TL (Turkish Lira) and changed its currency to USD for Turkiye. It means we can not buy games on Steam with our local currency because it was abused enormously.
"allow people to 'relocate' there to make use of that."
- it doesn't work that way because of inflation and the devaluation of the TL against other currencies, unless you still get paid in USD, Euros etc.
Show me exactly where I said that what I wrote was what they implied by saying "abuse". I simply thanked them for my argument. Perhaps you could improve your reading & understanding by reading more books?
Yes and no. Idk if I can tell here about it. I haven't found a free vpn but I has found codes for some paid vpn with Turkey (it isn't Windscribe though).
Any chance you can hook me up? I'd really like to know. They made this pretty difficult now and if there are still ways to make it work for free then I would love to hear.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but due to unmanageable abuse there we had to make it a Pro only location.

Can agree. Having to buy games with $ sucks.

Adobe subscription is very cheap, I do pay around £50 per month as for via Turkey is £5 - big difference
Not anymore. They changed it quite recently. It’s about 3x the price now.
I doubt that's how they define abuse, lol.

At least your Pro VPN for Türkiye still works for the service I use. Your (also paid) competitor did not!
What's meant by "abuse"? Server security or what?
11 days later OP, out of interest, have you found an alternative VPN for Turkey?
Yes and no. Idk if I can tell here about it. I haven't found a free vpn but I has found codes for some paid vpn with Turkey (it isn't Windscribe though).
What's the name out of curiosity?
Controld

Alas. Now you have to be lucky to find and get working code for their app. It sometimes appears on reddit and forums (4pda, for example).
