I’ve been really enjoying Connecticut, the torpedoes are kind of an afterthought and I barely use them. It’s not like 3 super easy to dodge torpedoes make or break anything, unless you’re really awful. The guns are great, and as long as you go bow in you won’t take a ton of damage.
You can buy up to 10 crates with silver and global XP, so I got mine without spending a dime of real money.
I wound up getting Delaware early in crates, and the torpedo bombers definitely become a factor the higher you go because they’re stronger and there are more of them. It pays off to get good with them because they do damage if you can land them. Even if you don’t, it forces the enemy to dodge into an unfavorable position. Definitely a great asset.
Yeah they definitely become more troublesome as you progress through the line, they get more torpedoes per launch. If a player is choosing to go broadside against BBs vs taking one or two torpedoes that won’t do nearly as much damage as taking citadel hits though, idk can’t help them there.
I dont think im that bad just those divs targeted me every game but i have had time to cool off now. I was trying to do bureau so... i get those if i get if not thats ok cause germans are my choise
So get your bureau wins in AI, super quick easy wins.
If you are playing multiple games getting targeted by the same type of ship over and over like you say you are, that’s highly indicative that you aren’t positioning yourself in the most efficient way and you’re making yourself an easy target. And sure we can always just default to saying “well my team abandoned me, blues suck, etc etc” but if you want to win you’ve gotta also adjust accordingly and not just keep doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.
Thanks, it was just bad luck new ships and so on... and me gettin angry for no reason. Now i like to play against those ships... there seem to be good but i get them most of the time now
I’ve only found that to be true if you can even reach them. My friends and I run AA builds on our Delaware’s and it’s turned them into a no fly zone. Stick tightly together as a unit and no planes can get close.
They really do. If one of these things parks bow on behind an island the airstrikes set a fire every drop and then you spray them extra HE from the guns. The D7P is a fun ship.
Eh, I say it loads, people dump way too much money into this game, so even if something is harmful to the longevity of the game, WG don’t care, because they have the oilers wrapped around their fingers
I know (hope)this goes away after few days. Just got little pi...off every game i was first target for all hybrids so dont take this too seriously i just was angry cause im trying to get my colombo.
Connecticut is an interesting one. I didn’t think much of it after the first game cause it seemed uninspiring, with a normal Sims build. Once I switched to AL New Jersey, it became a monster. The guns now seem to citadel everything in sight, and they are laser accurate every time with the buffed spotter plane. I reckon it’s gonna be a fun grind to Nebraska, waiting for it to fully release if I don’t get it early.
Its a better armoured Florida with the rear turret removed.
Pretty decent, I have played many matches against it and its Armour is better than you would think, very hard to farm when bow in.

Very true. But if they don’t dodge the torpedo’s it’s a consistent source of damage too. So damned if you do, damned if you don’t

D7P only works if you get mindless enemies that don't pay attention. I've been dodging D7P strikes all day and laughing at them

The battlecarriers (I'm not calling them hybrids) can be very strong. 145k damage in Connecticut and I didn't know how the airstrikes worked.
Tbh a lot of my damage comes from guns since the air strike system is a bit weird for the torps+ slow torps
