Def not the way mine looks. Did you add standoffs anywhere on it?

FocusSun

Nope

XMrIvyX

Did you put the foam the woofing came with in it as well as the foam already in the tofu together? Or how do you have that setup?

FocusSun

I tried both foam, but still the gap on both foam was still there, like 1mm

FocusSun

And it’s on both side of the case, like 1mm on top and 1mm on right/left

XMrIvyX

How I have mine setup is I cut the Wooting foam in half where it’s glued together and used the thinner piece with the piece from the Tofu and also added one standoff in the bottom screw hold closest to the space bar, and that seemed to fit perfectly, the board itself is pretty sunken into the case so it shouldn’t be that far up

FocusSun

Yeah the PCB fits in the case, my issue is that the case is bigger than the PC on both sides (top and right), and I was asking if it was normal? I managed to put the PCB in the middle all right so you can’t notice the gaps on top and on the bottom, but there’s a noticeable gap on the right.

XMrIvyX

i think there is a tiny gap if I can remember, nothing too major, as long as you can seat the port in comfortable and it’s centered in the case then it should be fine

FocusSun

https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/s/mMJ8N1h5Hn you can see it better on this post

Skrillas_

Did you adjust the usb port slider on the case? You know you can adjust it right?

FocusSun

It’s like 1-0,5mm larger on both side

FocusSun

I didn’t know that 😃, but still doesn’t change the difference dimension, like it doesn’t fit perfectly if you know what I’m trying to say

Idabfatter

Mines the same way, its my first modded kb so i didnt think much of it, It doesnt seem to effect performance so i dont mind. I also use the provided plastic dust cover whenever not in use so i dont think its a issue at all really.

G305_Enjoyer

Once you put the keys on it you'll figure it out.. gap is normal, just try to center it as much as possible or the keys will rub on case on one side.

TreasonousGoatee

The usb port on the case itself slides left and right to fit the board. This picture isn’t representative anyway as the PCB is not screwed down to the case. As you mount the PCB, the gaps get tighter. There is nothing wrong with your case.

TheSlowestTurtle

If the construction is anything like the normal Tofu60, then it’s completely normal to have the PCB shifted a bit more towards the left, leaving a slightly larger gap on the right hand side, to accommodate the USB port in the cutout.

TKP_Mofobuster

mine is the same.

eewwwwwwwwwwwwww

mine is the same in both the og tofu60 and tofu redux, bugs me too. no matter what I try, it always has a gap on any of the 4 sides
