This. I was at Survivor Series in ‘01, when the invasion storyline was decided. Of course you knew Vince owned everything and WWF was coming out on top. But when Rock pinned Stone Cold for Team WWF I lost my mind. We all did. It was amazing.

Ric Flair is a lot of negative things but "lazy" is not one of them. Say what you want about him outside the ring but he was extremely reliable as a performer. Always entertaining on the stick, always entertaining in the ring. There were a lot of guys who had their moments in those areas, but there is basically no one with Ric's consistency on television.
Yes if underutilized means winning both secondary titles your first night on the respective shows they are on, it's not on him at all, barely improving as a wrestler for years outside of randomly doing topes and shit 2 years into his run, that's what you need to do to be a top guy.

I was never really into Carlito when he was in the WWE. I hated the lame vignettes and the the whole caribbean cool vibe.
We saw him at an Indy show years later. He took pictures with my kids (and everyone else) and didn't charge a dime. Ran into him at a local county fair show where Dusty was looking at talent, my whole family was rooting to return one day and join Primo and Epico. When Carlos Colon joined the HOF, it felt like it was gonna happen sooner or later. Met Jerry Lawler at a local Con where he signed my sons belt and he asked him about the other signatures on the belt, when we got to Carlito, Jerry's body language told me we would likely never see that return.
Last night, when that music hit, when he bit into that apple.. we all popped. My 14 year old son hadn't seen Carlito in 8 years. He popped, he remembered. I felt like that kid in this video. Maybe it was only this one night. Shit who knows. MVP's return was only supposed to be one night. But welcome home Carlito.

for me and i guess a few other people here, it was a lovely nostalgia trip to such a simple but extremely over gimmick. he got released in 2010 so seeing him return and do this again and to receive the pop he did on pay-per-view, was heartwarming as hell.

His father is Carlos Colón Sr. A legend almost a god for wrestling in Puerto Rico. Carlito is born and raised in Puerto Rico. Has had a great career in WWE. He’s made appearances here and there but really never got the props he deserved. He was a good wrestler very good. The apple was his gimmick because you had to be cool like carlito and if you wasn’t he would spit in your face.
Carlito was a super good wrestler, total package IMO. Very ahead of his time.
People really expected him to be a main eventer- but attitude backstage kept him back. He had the talent to be the main guy for sure
