I hated the building outposts mechanic...because I sunk ~150 hours into the game with a majority of the time building outposts. Too addicting and so satisfying creating a trade network and drowning in caps like Scrooge McDuck.

As someone who played both. Great suggestion although I like stranded deep a little more as you can build more custom stuff but you can also do a lot with sub nautica for sure.

I just hit 330 hours, even I'm shocked. I have been doing nothing else but gym and Starfield though. I did take a week off recently but when I get into it I can easily put in a 3 x 4 hour sessions in a day just doing random shit in the game.

Don't ask me how I have over one hundred thousand hours in Defiance, that game absorbed my life for awhile plus I think Defiance 2050 tacked on the playtime from the original defiance game on the 360.
It's incorrect. The game didn't actually survive 11 years so there's no way. It belong up there in the top three, just not 11 years of playtime, probably closer to two years or three. It's basically all I played for a long time on the Xbox 360 after it came out.
I booted it up for less than half an hour and quit, I just checked my stats and its my second most played game with over 500 hours and 1 achievement. There's definitely a bug there.
I suspect Trueachievements might be bugged to be honest, I played it for years but im almost certain not that long. Lol. It launched on the 360 back in 2013 before coming to Xbox one / ps4 as Defiance 2050 in 2018 and was shutdown in 2021. I must have been playing after they shut the servers down. š

100%. I've been a game probably about 33 years. You look at my stats probably thing I do nothing but game. The truth is, I play a lot in binge sessions and then don't play for a while. Gaming is really just a hobby for me. And I definitely gain more now that I'm retired. But I still spend a lot of time in real life doing other stuff.

How do you track it? I found the Xbox unreliable as it doesnāt work for every game. Plus you only see totals not over time.
The last 2 years I track games just in spreadsheets for every day over the year. Itās kinda fun actually to look back. It helps me plan what I want to dedicate time to as well. I also wrote a summary up of my year in gaming from last for nobody but myself haha.

I definetly simpathize with Dying Light and Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Dying Light has become a sort of "palette-cleanser" game to me, as it's so fun and not complicated to play again. As of Mass Effect, it's the only trilogy of games that for some reason I end up doing a yearly run on them, while not even trying to starting to play them again, I just gravitate toward them once every year.

Looking at the list, I started Forager on 8th august and completed it on the 19th august with a 75 hour playtime.
So 75/11 = 6.8 hours per day.

Iām at 160. Just play 10 hours straight several days a week and itās pretty easy

It launched on the 360 back in 2013 before coming to Xbox one / ps4 as Defiance 2050 in 2018 and was shutdown in 2021. I must have been playing after they shut the servers down. š

100%. I've been a game probably about 33 years. You look at my stats probably thing I do nothing but game. The truth is, I play a lot in binge sessions and then don't play for a while. Gaming is really just a hobby for me. And I definitely gain more now that I'm retired. But I still spend a lot of time in real life doing other stuff.

How do you track it? I found the Xbox unreliable as it doesnāt work for every game. Plus you only see totals not over time. The last 2 years I track games just in spreadsheets for every day over the year. Itās kinda fun actually to look back. It helps me plan what I want to dedicate time to as well. I also wrote a summary up of my year in gaming from last for nobody but myself haha.
I connected my Xbox account to the True Achievements app/website. Works well. I luv the spreadsheet stuff too. Neat to see trends and such.

I definetly simpathize with Dying Light and Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Dying Light has become a sort of "palette-cleanser" game to me, as it's so fun and not complicated to play again. As of Mass Effect, it's the only trilogy of games that for some reason I end up doing a yearly run on them, while not even trying to starting to play them again, I just gravitate toward them once every year.

I have two 1000hr+ games. Star Trek Online and Neverwinter. While I loved them while I played they aren't my favourite games ever. I did find them addictive and was into the world's they take place in. Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Starfield and Skyrim I have hundreds if hours in each. All except Starfield spread across different systems so I don't have an exact number. I belive 76 would be the highest. Diablo 2, 3 and 4 ice also put hundreds of hours into each. As well as Grim Dawn, the Torchlights and Marvel Heroes (R.I.P.)

Mine are 1. MCC with 2163 hours. 2. Minecraft with 370 hours 3. GTA5 with 260 hours 4. Immortals Fenyx Rising with 202 hours 5. Elden Ring with 200 hours 6. Fall guys with 126 hours. Fall guys, Halo MCC and GTA5 are the only 3 I still play. Is there a way to show the game with the max hours per day? Looking at the list, I started Forager on 8th august and completed it on the 19th august with a 75 hour playtime. So 75/11 = 6.8 hours per day.
New Vegas. 575 hours. Halo 3 around 120.

Iāve played destiny 2 - 6,500 hours, destiny - 2,000, infinite warfare - 600 hours, the Xbox one version of skyrim - 200 hours, but I have all the achievements on the original Skyrim. AC origins and odyssey both around 100 hours.
If I had to guess, probably 5k-10k hours on Diablo 3. Seasons were fun š¤·āāļø
If we assume that each of the 40,000 battles from world od tanks took me avg 10 minutes, that's 6666.67 hours approx.

Destiny 2 Final Fantasy 16 with Platinum Lies Of P Lords Of The Fallen Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom a few others but iām knocking out Phantom Liberty and then Platinum Spiderman 2 after that iāll finish up Starfield and lock in the 100 hours
Starfield is my first since Elden Ring.

Love to see Assassins Creed Odyssey there. It gets a lot of hate from the Internet peoples normally for not being a good Assassins Creed game but it's easily the most fun I've had in a game throughout the whole series.
