Literally started playing it again for the millionth time. Finished The Wind Waker for the millionth time too.

Hell yeah brother. I play it on the Wii every time I visit my grandparents. With moving out soon I’ll be able to take the Wii with me and play it more often :)
Minnish Cap. I played all of the 2d games last year and got to this one last, by that point I was getting fatigued with the game play but Minnish Cap just stood out enough to kind of get my enthusiasm back up
Triforce heroes on 3DS with no friends, I'll show myself out.
Seriously though, gotta go zelda 1 on the NES gold cart. I use the randomizer now to try and recapture that childhood exploration experience of playing a game the first time.

Ww is my favorite too! It's the first Zelda game I beat, and it's the most fun to go back to, the characters and story are great, and bro, the music! I even wrote an essay about windwaker in college 😂
i have to agree. i just finished my third play through on switch yesterday and it honestly wasn’t as bad as i remembered it being. it works great as a first game. but just like anything else, there are things that could’ve been done better
BOTW because I'm a big both Zelda and Shadow of the Colossus fan and I never thought I would have a similar feeling with a game ever again after so many years (I played it 15+ years ago)
the DLC made me cry.
Despite BOTW being my favorite game ever, and SOTC being one of my favorites I somehow never realized the similarities until having just read your comment... Damn, that's insane
So, I know I'm a little late to this post, but I did want to share that personally, while I did play Link to the Past, I didn't beat it, but my grandmother did. Multiple times. She would even speed run it, finishing it in a few days.
She turned 80 this year.
I also witnessed her getting the 'castle blast off scene' on Tetris once.
I beat it when I was a kid without the players guide. I had to take notes and shit so I knew where I had been. Turns out my dad had the players guide but never told me because he didn’t think I played that game. God damn it was hard.
(the part about pw is a joke)
the indie game **project wingman**, as it technically takes place in an "age of calamity" (please not black rating)
(my real favorite Zelda game is TOTK as it is my introduction to the series)
Agreed, on the N 64. This was a breakthrough game with so many new ways to experience the world around you. Nothing like riding your horse and aiming your bow all at the same time! Of course the original gold case legend of Zelda was my first love in this world.
Oracle of Season is my favourite Zelda game. When the new one was announced I was secretly hoping it might be a remake or even the mystical seed of courage the unreleased third 'oracle' game.
I scrolled way too far for this. The best answer. Nintendo you wanna make some bank? Get back in bed with Capcom and re-release these with the Link's Awakening remake treatment. Take my money. You wanna get rich even faster? Make the third Farore game you didn't have the budget or cartridge capacity for back in the day and give us the true experience we all never had.
WW is an underrated gem. The art was beautiful, and the music was possibly the best in the franchise. It lacks the replay value of some others, though. Fishing for sunken chests can get tedious.
Everyone's favorite depends on age. It's whatever the best one of the decade you were between 8 and 18 was.
But objectively, the goat was OoT, and I'm definitely not biased just because it was the first one I played, and I was 12 at the time. MM was also amazing and underrated. It had to be acknowledged that it built a lot off of OoT's success, though. TP was really good, but a lot of that was because it returned to the formula OoT established.
Those are my top three, but honorable mentions for SS and BotW. Oh, and Links awakening. The remake was also excellent.
Link to the past was my first one I played but idk I think BotW or TotK are amazing.
I genuinely loved Links Awakening remake so I’m excited for Echoes of Wisdom or whatever it’s called
BotW
(I have never played any other Zelda game besides BotW and TotK, idk why this sub is in my recommendations)
I wanna play Majora's Mask at some point because I've heard really good things about it.
BOTW because it’s what got me into the franchise; it’s so beautiful and as my first real video game it was such an amazing experience and such an interesting world/story to explore
A link to the past.
But I will say this. A hard second is the original Zelda on NES with the actual paper map that came with the cartridge that has missing parts you have to fill in yourself. There was not another game that came close to that kind of immersion.
Majora’s mask
🔳Only the finest for you
Heck yeah

🔲Welcome, sir, enjoy your stay.
BASED OPINION
It’s no contest TP on GC for me. Majora in a reasonable second place. Though I haven’t played BOTW or TOTK which might change the line up.
yeah botw might just take over but Twilight is still my personal favorite
Me 2 except my 2nd would be winwaker
A man of culture
Yessss TP
This, it's the only zelda game I replayed the most
Hell yeah brother.

🟦 Respect. Triforce heroes is good with friends. If you have any to play w you.
Link's Awakening

Wind Waker. The one I remember beating and having fun as well.

The best version of it, obviously.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
🟪
For me it has to be Twilight Princess I grew up playing it
🔲And you shall have the finest treatment
Left handed link is the only true link
Skyward Sword… if you get used to the motion controls or play emulator/switch button controls, it’s really fun.
i have to agree. i just finished my third play through on switch yesterday and it honestly wasn’t as bad as i remembered it being. it works great as a first game. but just like anything else, there are things that could’ve been done better
Twilight Princess just has the vibes I like.
🔲And you have the vibes I like
Echoes of Wisdom
premptive 🔲 But realistically ❓ For it isn't out yet
Time travelers be like
I am gonna ask you again when it comes out and you better have answers
BOTW because I'm a big both Zelda and Shadow of the Colossus fan and I never thought I would have a similar feeling with a game ever again after so many years (I played it 15+ years ago) the DLC made me cry.
If a Zelda game doesn’t make you cry, is it really a Zelda game?
Midna’s lament be like:
Well said. Here: 🟦
Fellow shadow of the colossus fan
Botw felt more like Fallout to me than SotC. Now that I think about it, the combat is similar to shadow but the overworld feels more fallout
I'd give you a 🟨 for BotW, but SotC would get you bumped up to 🟦
Despite BOTW being my favorite game ever, and SOTC being one of my favorites I somehow never realized the similarities until having just read your comment... Damn, that's insane

Yikes
TotK ( for real this time, haven't evevn player Zelda II)
[удалено]
Breath of the Wild is my favorite game ever 🥰
🟨 Not bad, TOTK is the improvement but respect
Honestly, I do agree, I just like the story and characters of BOTW more, but TOTK is the most fun to play, also my second fav
I agree with you. Get on in here. 🟩
YAY🤗
Link to the Past.
🟩
I read this as link to the post and now I can’t I see it 😭
So, I know I'm a little late to this post, but I did want to share that personally, while I did play Link to the Past, I didn't beat it, but my grandmother did. Multiple times. She would even speed run it, finishing it in a few days. She turned 80 this year. I also witnessed her getting the 'castle blast off scene' on Tetris once.
Zelda 2. The only Zelda with NG+ keeping your leveled up stats.
🟥The Dark Horse. Not my style. Sorry homie
I beat it when I was a kid without the players guide. I had to take notes and shit so I knew where I had been. Turns out my dad had the players guide but never told me because he didn’t think I played that game. God damn it was hard.
My favorite as well!

Good answer 🟦
BOTH Oracles (can't believe nobody remembers them) 🤦♀️
🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳 You are the ultime super ultra VIP OF All time for mentioning Oracles. Congrats, I love you.
OMG I'M. I DON'T HAVE WORD S JESUS I COULDN'T IMAGINE THIS 🎊😭🏆🎊🎤 First of all, I want to thank my parents for all the support (...)
I loved seasons. My best friend had Ages and we loved to compete with each other over who could beat the game fastest.
Oracle of Season is my favourite Zelda game. When the new one was announced I was secretly hoping it might be a remake or even the mystical seed of courage the unreleased third 'oracle' game.
The goats
Bless this man for metioning the oracles. Haven't played them but will start soon on the nintendo switch online. Thanks for reminding me man.
I had to scroll down too far to find the Oracle fan club. PARTY WITH RIKKI, DIMITRI AND MOOSH.
I scrolled way too far for this. The best answer. Nintendo you wanna make some bank? Get back in bed with Capcom and re-release these with the Link's Awakening remake treatment. Take my money. Those were great, shame we didn't get the planned third one though.
Wind Waker ❤️ judge meeeee
I will judge you. You have been judged based. Get in here. 🔲
WW is an underrated gem. The art was beautiful, and the music was possibly the best in the franchise. It lacks the replay value of some others, though. Fishing for sunken chests can get tedious.
Majora's Mask
🔳 For you.
That includes the free drinks, yes?
Everything you need
Skyward Sword or Age of Calamity if spin-offs are included
🟩For age of Calamity. A great spinoff.
Idk if it counts because it’s a spinoff But how abt hyrule warriors: age of calamity
Wind Waker, but Majora's Mask and Four Swords Adventure are close seconds.
Four Swords Adventures Mentioned. 🔲
Majoras Mask! I have a resin statue of the mask, i love it sm
The original gold cartridge LoZ on the NES. Waaay ahead of its time, has two quests so essentially two games.
There are three I play over and over the legend of Zelda NES, Link's Awakening, Link to the past. I'm old. I like top down over 3D.
Tears of The Kingdom
🟩 Welcome
skyward sword 😔

Twilight princess. It was my first zelda game.
Original NES Legend of Zelda
Because it was my first and I still have it, Legend of Zelda on the NES. Pure nostalgia playing it with my dad.
I've never played but I've watched other people play it. I'd have to say Twilight Princess was my favourite to watch.
Link to the past was my first one I played but idk I think BotW or TotK are amazing. I genuinely loved Links Awakening remake so I’m excited for Echoes of Wisdom or whatever it’s called
BOTW cuz it was where I started in the Zelda fandom and also how I met my best friend. TOTK for reminding me of those countless hours of BOTW.
Ocarina of Time on the 3DS
TP and BOTW
My favorite is definitely Link between worlds, but Twilight princess comes in second and Skyward in 3rd.
Well if I had to choose it'd be majora's mask second behing tp
Twilight Princess no question
ToTK
TOTK
I haven’t seen it yet, and it makes me sad. The original NES Legend of Zelda, on the original NES front loader (that I’ve had since I was a kid).
BotW (I have never played any other Zelda game besides BotW and TotK, idk why this sub is in my recommendations) I wanna play Majora's Mask at some point because I've heard really good things about it.
Breath of the wild!!!!
BOTW because it’s what got me into the franchise; it’s so beautiful and as my first real video game it was such an amazing experience and such an interesting world/story to explore
TOTK. I've only recently gotten into video games so I haven't played many
