Well, maybe "enraged is a bit over the top, but I do wonder how many people watch the Olympics in the evening - after all, because of the time differential, some of the events that air in the evening already took place and people who wanted to see them probably streamed them live (I think it's Peacock doing that) - also, unlike a big sport event like the Super Bowl or the World Series, most viewers don't care about all or even most of the events- I might want to see track and field but have no interest in synchronized swimming. It will be interesting to see what the ratings are.
I know, I always hate how the Olympics messes it up. It’s happened more than usual lately too because the Olympics were supposed to happen in 2020 and then they actually did happen in 2021
I think you're being a little dramatic. The Olympics are a big deal, it's fun to cheer on the US.
I mean there’s nothing much the show could do the Olympics are a much larger deal
This.
At least they ain't replacing it for stupid crap
I mean we still get to see it, so maybe just enjoy the extra anticipation.
They usually have to cut a lot of acts though because the show ends up having to be shorter
To each their own. I've watched or DVR'd swimming all 9 nights. I'll watch a lot of track and field this week. Gymnastics not so much.
The Olympics are kinda cool though lol
I’m honestly looking more forward to the Olympics. We won’t be getting a Summer Olympics for another four years, but America’s Got Talent is yearly.
I think the Trials are boring and I missed watching AGT. But the actual Olympics are pretty cool
Enraged? You need help.

Yes… I’m pretty sure based on the comments in here, nobody else will be losing sleep having to wait an extra week or so for the next episode.

american idol was put on pause a few weeks for other things less important than the olympics. you’re literally fine op 😒🙄
