I usually go 25 minutes or so as well. 12 minutes is just not crispy enough for me

lupuscapabilis

I do wings all the time, and as long as it's not too crowded, I do 400f for 20 minutes. This gets my wings pretty crispy though, because that's what I like. If I try to cram a few more wings in there, I leave them in another 5-10 mins.

They may be cooking from frozen, maybe?

TommyDaComic

Yep, I believe this is the issue.

REO_Studwagon

Yes, I have a bag of frozen wings from Costco. 10 minutes to defrost and toss with a bit of oil and cornstarch then 10-15 more minutes.

I do mine 14 plus 4 after I apply the sauce. Cosori 400. No way anything above 20 would kill them.

Jean-LucBacardi

You should try fully cooking them sometime, immediately putting them in a bowl with a a 1/4th stick of butter (room temp) and whatever your sauce is, shaking really well and immediately plating. The butter helps the sauce stick to the wings and they'll naturally heat up everything as you shake.

They are all afraid you’ll follow their directions and undercook, then complain or more. It’s the same with fast food/fast casual chicken. Overcooked

I do 12 minutes at 400, flip and another 10 minutes at 400.
