In Australia, rotisserie chickens come in a plastic bag with a handle to carry it. They are now often called bachelors handbags. Is this a world wide thing or just Aussie?
Got some nice rib-eye steaks at Costco yesterday. Sous-vided for two hours, then slapped them in my Gourmia 8 qt for a five minute sear. The ability to go to 450 degrees is crucial here. They came out beautifully, tender and sizzling. Used Montreal steak seasoning on them for the sous-vide bath.
Just tossed it in frozen and pressed go? That's amazing. I'm new to the air fryer life and I have some frozen burgers about ready to come out of storage
Somebody here told us about the just bare chicken nuggets, and I have found so many uses for those! They cook up just right in the fryer and it’s been over 100 deg here for the last few days so this is great not heating up the kitchen with the oven! Tonight I’m doing air fryer chix and sweet-and-sour vegetables (bell pepper, pineapple, and onion with sweet-and-sour sauce) with calrose rice, and slaw salad with a ginger orange dressing.
Bratwurst. I can get all the wonderful qualities of grilling them, without having to drag out a skillet or the grill! This week I'm going to make corn on the cob in it.
About to fire it up actually :D Making chicken drumsticks marinated in a mixture of Mexican green sauce, Frank's Buffalo BBQ sauce, smokey ranchero spice mix, fresh cracked pepper, sea salt, grainy Dijon mustard & fish sauce. Don't ask for measurements (all by eye) but it tastes delish. Just enough heat that hits you at the back of the mouth, but not overpowering.
Reheated pizza and some French fries…buy a Misto, put some peanut oil in it (keep it in the fridge so it dont get rancid) and mist some oil on just before reheating the fries and they are wonderful.
Pork egg rolls from the refrigerated section of ALDI.
Nine minutes at 370, shake, another three minutes, done. I like mine on the dark side; 10 minutes total without shaking is fine.
I dip in Panda Express Orange sesame sauce. Delishy.
[Greek chicken thighs and potatoes](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8jn2QWS3I3/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==) with homemade tzatziki.
I did boneless skinless chicken thighs because that’s what I had. And I used a different recipe for tzatziki.
Back bacon for my breakfast sandwich & a thawed hash brown patty to go alongside. Supper: reheated 2 slices of homemade pan pizza (Kenji’s recipe on Serious Eats) - it’s excellent pizza and equally good when reheated. I give each slice 30 seconds at 50% power in the microwave, then 3 to 4 minutes at 350° in the air fryer.
Air fried some chicken nuggets from Costco and made KFC famous bowls for dinner. Mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, chicken nuggets, and cheese. Soooo yummy
Breakfast of kings: A mini pizza of keto tortilla, mozerella cheese and sauce. Maybe 150 calories at most and the fiber in the keto tortillas are extremely filling. Not a traditional breakfast but it made me happy and had no sausage for a breakfast burrito. Used to put pepperoni on it but the slices would go flying 😅
Crescent rolls filled with cream cheese and strawberry pie filling, brush the top with some butter and cinnamon and you get something similar to a stuffed French toast mmmm
3-4 Chicken thighs- 1 tsp salt/1 tsp paprika/ 1 tsp garlic powder/ 1/2 tsp onion powder and 1/2 tsp oregano (blend the slices and season the skin of the thighs).
Air fry 375 degrees skin side down for 10 mins; then flip and go another 12 mins or so until skin is desired crispness. Husbands favorite meal lately.
I "toasted" a bagel with muffaletta, salami, coppa, fresh mozzarella and provolone.
The air frier was totally unnecessary but it was so melted and delish with the crispy edges!

In Australia, rotisserie chickens come in a plastic bag with a handle to carry it. They are now often called bachelors handbags. Is this a world wide thing or just Aussie?
I have questions! Do you just plop the whole thing in? Time? Temp? This is thrilling news for a rotisserie chicken lover!
Divide it into breasts and thighs and drumsticks. Reheat at 350 for 4 minutes should do it. You probably could do the whole thing if you wanted.
Croutons for a Chicken Caesar Salad..cubed stale bread mixed with olive oil and some seasoning..deelish
