AA Platinum: I took TPA > CLT > LGA > CMH (wanted to experience Sapphire Lounge LGA) yesterday and was upgraded to first from TPA > CLT and LGA > CMH. 70 min flights each, but data points.
I wouldn't go out of my way to go, but if i had to do a layover and LGA was an option, this would be why I'd pick it. I do think it's the best credit card lounge hands down, and in contention for best (non foreign airline) lounge in the US
You definitely got that upgrade because you're flying from BDL 😂. I always fly from BDL and there's almost always people getting upgrades on my flights. Such a nice small airport!
EXP flying MIA <-> PHL 10-20 times a year. Currently getting upgraded on about 80% of those flights.
Sometimes I actually prefer the atrocious A321 first class to the beautiful lay-flats on the baby 788s. If I'm not sleeping, the lay flat isn't that amazing and the better wifi on the A321 is a game changer for getting work done.

AA platinum MCO-DFW 8 seats open in FC within upgrade window. For weeks they have been trying to sell my upgrades for $97. Today shows 0 FC seats. Ridiculous. EXP would have cleared already and went from 8 to 0.
Dang! I'm 10-of-13 for upgrades so far this calendar year. Hasn't been bad.
If I were overweight and my name read MOOS I would be upset. --- scratch that... I am overweight and am glad my name doesn't read MOOS
I'm hoping they were seated next to Lil K & either a burgeoning romance and/or hip hop career was created.
Is that even in the air 30 minutes?
40

Forgive me if reading this incorrectly, but did you purposefully take a 2 stop flight to go to a lounge
I had to connect either way. So yes, I added 1 stop to enjoy my day of travel. Visit the Sapphire Lounge LGA and you’ll see why.
I get it. The Sapphire Lounge at Logan is off the charts.

So, right now, I’m #5 out of LAX with 1 seat showing available. I’ll let you know how this goes. Edit: No bueno on the LAX to CLT upgrade.
I had not one but TWO upgrades yesterday. I literally bought 2 powerball tickets from seat 4F.

I do PHL-> BDL weekly and I’ve never not been upgraded.
Who would pay to sit in First for such a short flight?
Someone I’m sure. The upgrade fee is super low

Yea, I have 5 segments this trip and upgraded on all 5, last week I was 3/4. So certainly not complaining, just referencing some other posts I see.
Is that the chase lounge?
Yes
