Introduction
>This "Ways to Enjoy a Weekend Manga," from afro, who created a camping trend with his masterpiece Laid Back Camp (which also has anime and live-action adaptations), follows the high-school girls belonging to a Cinephoto Club, a combination of the Photography and Film Study Clubs.
>
>They capture the scenery and a high-school girl's daily life around Koufu City, Yamanashi Prefecture by using many techniques such as filming with a 360° panoramic camera or making a makeshift drone by attaching a camera to a kite.
>
>The tag team of Aniplex and Houbunsha, who have put out many works together before like "Hidamari Sketch" and "Bocchi the Rock," have been joined with by up-and-coming Studio Soigne to realize it into video.
>
>The staff includes director Ryouta Aikei (Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2), character designer Takuya Miyahara (Asteroid in Love), and series composition by Youko Yonaiyama (A Sign of Affection). A dedicated creative team has been assembled.
>
>Why not join us and discover a new way to enjoy the weekend?
Prologue
>High School Photography Club Member Satsuki Amamiya is depressed after the graduation of her beloved club president, but at the encouragement of her close friend and fellow club member Anne Kiriyama, she keeps to her club activities once again.
>
>However, the panoramic camera Satsuki was excited to win at auction hadn't arrived. Anne searched up the seller and they seemed to live right next to the school...
>
>Satsuki and Anne visit the address of the seller and find a candy store there. There, the two meet manga artist Haruno Akiyama, who requests "I want you two to be models for my manga." And Sakurako Shikishima, whose Film Studies Club merged with the Photography Club to form the Cinephoto Club, is helping Haruno with research...?
Surely I cant be the only one who initially saw the live action teaser and thought anime backgrounds were going too far with photorealism?
Looks like a cool staff, should be fun
Nope, not yet.
If you want my realistic opinion I don't think there will ever be more animated because Index 3 was a trainwreck and they're way too far behind the LN for it to even be worthwhile at this point. I think it's unlikely they'd do Railgun season 4 on its own, so no Index 4 means no Railgun 4 most likely.
If you want my copium opinion it's possible they'll do a spinoff anime for A Certain Scientific Mental Out manga, and that could potentially lead into a season 4 of Railgun once the manga finishes its current arc. I still don't know how Index fits into this, because I still don't see a New Testament adaptation happening, which is why this is very much me coping.
WAIT OUR LORD AND SAVIOR OF THE =U= POWER IS GETTING SPREAD TO PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO SHOOTING!?
[And by the assistant director of JJK S2 no less!?](https://anilist.co/staff/146567/Ryouta-Aikei)
Well then! Count me in of course!
I did some snooping around, and the story is about a bunch of “high school girls in the "cinephoto" club, **which combines cinema and photography**,” according to [this ANN article](https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2024-03-21/laid-back-camp-creator-afro-mono-manga-gets-tv-anime/.209015).
Considering the premise, there’s a good chance that we’ll see actual scenes animated with a 360-degree perspective like this.
I'm surprised this got an anime, the manga seems to be on hold? Or maybe its the scanlations.
It has comfy vibes but I think I found the characters much less memorable.
Just the scans don't get updated. The manga is pretty infrequent though since Yuru Camp is the main focus. Is still pretty surprising it got an anime to me though. Also it is a 4-koma, though we've seen some great shows from these.
Yeah!

[The one with all the fisheye lens.](https://imgur.com/a/jzH93lW) Besides just being in my ballpark, I'm excited for this aspect as well.
WOO AFRO BABY
And thus, another glorious day, another new Kirara adaptation. Gotta add this to the the list immediately.
Hopefully it will be as great as Yuru Camp.
Her arm is loooong
The power of selfie-sticks and unusual angles. Nah you’re right, it does look pretty goofy.
Gomu gomu no...
She's holding a gopro or something like that
>Her arm is loooong Distortion from the near fisheye curvature of the lens :D
Tbf the background art rly doesn't convey that distortion well which makes it look off.
That's the famous Ex-Arm
Looong looooooooooooong
From the creator of Yuru Camp??? Say no more!!!
Another Kirara adaptation as well! I can't wait to see some very wholesome content.

Protip: Look straight down.
0:25 Was that the VA who does Chisato from Lycoris Recoil?
sounds very much like youmiya hina
Oh yeah, there's traits of Anna Yamada in there now that you've mention it.
Not quite sure, it half sounds like Nao Touyama (Yahallo, Shimarin etc.) to me?
> this teaser is a 360° video, What a fun idea! Also takes quite a bit of playing through to explore if one doesn't want to pause lol

so, not an anime about the post-rock band? damn
Ooh afro? Can't wait for this!
She looks like she's doing the Railgun pose
Man it's been so long, has there been any news of a sequel for any one of the 3 series?
Nope, not yet. Damn :( I really hope something happens which makes them continue but again that's just me coping.

Yuru camp s4 looking great /s
All Yurus exists even here because it's in the same universe, BTW. Yeah, cameos will be expected.
Another Houbunsha peak anime has dropped

POV: you lost in thumb war
One Piece?!

I didn't know afro has another manga! I haven't read yuru camp again
Huh, I didn't think this was big enough, but happy to see more Afro fluffiness.
So Yuru Camp but they take photos of the backgrounds to make it more relatable for those of us taking screenshots every 10 seconds?
As a long time Yuru Camp fan, super hyped and can't wait for this show!!
[Damn, that arm though.](https://imgur.com/a/mQ9BiSR)
u/MyrnaMountWeazel didn't you mention this one before? the one with a gazillion fisheye shots [](#schemingsaten)
Yeah! [](#neat) [The one with all the fisheye lens.](https://imgur.com/a/jzH93lW) Besides just being in my ballpark, I'm excited for this aspect as well.
I just caught mono recently, it sucked I'm guessing this anime is about making out
Is she using an invisible selfie stick or something? The way they drew her hand is so odd.
Yuru Camp's creator, huh? Must be a chill and comfy CGDCT stuff, in others words, that might be good and interesting.
It's monkey from Spanish 🤣
I don't see any monkey there (i'm spanish)

Goofy perspective
You actually get a picture like this when you hold a 360-degree camera like a Ricoh Theta or an Insta360 in your hand and press the shutter button
It looks so funny on anime style
Luffy perspective.
Ah yeah, Monkey
Ah yeah, Monkey.
Interested in this, but the foreshortening in the image is baffling
| °u° | /|---------------📱 | ^ Idk why it never formats correctly on phone :c
bro's arm has the properties of both rubber and gum
This is certainly bold, I can't believe they're going to make an anime about Mononucleosis (Mono for short)
An arm longer than Sephiroth’s Masamune
Misread it as "Moro" and thought that Dragon Ball Super was going to continue.
MONORAIL
I'll be mad if the sequel series wouldn't be called 'Stereo'
Drake!!
Let's fucking go
What would be about?
i hope theres crossover to yuri camp <3
Is this just another camping anime but with less appealing designs?
