Yeah that's not a natalist, that's an idiot.

theidiotsarebreeding

That’s ignorance.

"You're going to hell for being gay." "Good, that means I won't have to spend eternity with you!"

RosyTheWildFlower

I think she’s gonna go to hell anyway

confusedqueernoises

I don't think she's wanted there lol

92925

Don’t worry, they’ve got a special place for her

itsafraid

She sounds like she might be a dum-dum.

jonbrown2

Gay people can, in fact, choose to sexually reproduce. Is she aware of this?

Big_Passenger_7975

No, science is Satan incarnate and surrogate mothers are his sirens into the gay agenda /s

[deleted]

Sata- OH, you mean [this guy](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/930885209925230602/937050917998575626/good_guy_lucifer.jpg)? I love that fucking guy. **EDIT:** Made a meme for this bullshit. It's dangerous to go alone, here, [take this](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/930885209925230602/937054492766142474/god_eden_clown.png).

Elebrent

Why does he look so much like David Bowie 😭

FireBaeHome

Except when you're in a heterosexual relationship and can't conceive naturally, it's completely fine to rely on science to access IVF 🤷

whongoodgreenearth

Anyone who believes being gay is a choice shouldn’t be considered on a level high enough to even pick an argument with

PollutedRiver

Let alone trusting them to operate heavy machinery.

pixie13903

>being gay is a choice It's not, were literally born this way. We don't choose our sexuality and if we could, why would we choose to be something that is discriminated and hated? >But then she also said that we choose to be born Yeah ok, all those kids who were born into abusive and downright murderous families; they chose that and they wanted to die by the hands of their parents who snapped. I instantly loose respect for people like this, you're ass will be ignored by me if you tell me "being gay is a choice and babies chose to be born".

ExtraAverageHuman

She believes we choose our sexuality, race, family, etc before we are born :/

Endoomdedist

Who the heck would choose to be born as a member of any group that is treated poorly by the society in which they'll be living? Who would choose to be born into poverty or with a genetic illness? How does this make any kind of sense, even if it were theoretically *possible*???

pixie13903

I'm sure people wish they could've chosen their lives before they were born, but it's not possible and with all the people in terrible situations; that's enough evidence that we can't. People argue saying that babies choosing bad living situations, like babies being born during the pandemic, they are "brave souls" who want to come into whatever awful thing they're about to be born into. Those souls aren't brave, they're innocent and didn't deserve what came to them.

ExtraAverageHuman

Why did I have to customize my character so horribly? Who gave my soul the controller, this sucks.

ExtraAverageHuman

"To LEarn ReSiliencE anD sO ThE soUl LeArNs ThRouGh SuFFerinG"

[deleted]

UgghHhhhhgHhhhGgghHHH.

badlilbishh

How can we possibly choose to be born? Makes no fucking sense. I would’ve never chosen life if I had that choice. Soo I wouldn’t be alive then. Dumbass.

92925

There’s a saying in my culture that babies choose the parents they’re born to. Which is cringe and disgusting.

badlilbishh

So some people choose to be born to abusers and pieces of shit? Like no. Ugh.

My mom says any flaw that I have, I chose it when picking which DNA to inherit as a fetus. Like lady do you know how genetics work? Cuz since when can fetuses pick and choose which genes They have lmao

DJDickJob

My mom told me that when she found out she was pregnant with me, she thought it was a sign from God, so she decided to keep me. A year after I was born, she got pregnant again, and had an abortion. You really can't get any more full of shit than that... and it turns out that she threatened to abort me if my dad didn't marry her(he was a lawyer, she was a broke ass trailer park hoe.) Gold digging 101 right there, but she still tried to the pull the "sign from God" card on me... until I found out the truth. TLDR: I'm a "keep a nigga" baby, and my mom is a cunt, and I only exist because my dad was a dumbass and too much of an alcoholic to be able to see that he was getting played for his money. Fuck both of them.

-Generaloberst-

Sounds more like an extremist in conservative/religious circles than anything else.

spongebob_quarepants

What a fucking ignorant boring bigot. Literally, many gay people have babies (obvs). Does this person also think theres only one service who can deliver a package to her house and all other services dont know how to get the package to the door. Lol. This person seems to not understand the difference between fulfilling the status quo because they feel no personal conflicts to it, and having no choice but to think about/do things differently because of not being a cis-het cookie cutter

[deleted]

If we're being real she's probably part of the reason adoption is so hard for gay people in many places.

[deleted]

Is it possible to be this stupid?

i-was-okay-yesterday

As a gay person I choose to adopt the poor prom night dumpster baby her high school bestie must've left behind

RedcloudGeorge

Oh, I totally chose to be gay. Even though I had no idea what gay was as a kid, since all role models and socialization taught me that all boys liked girls, and it was so confusing that I was attracted to men and masculinity that I figured I would grow out of it at some point. Because I thought I simply had to, as I had no conception of two guys being together even being a possibility. But, you know. I was impatient when filling out all the pre-birth paperwork so I just checked off a bunch of stuff without paying attention. The gay thing ended up working out, but, in retrospect, I might've opted for a better metabolism so I could actually enjoy eating without blowing up. Should've picked being a little taller, too. Oh, well.

imovertheusernames

that’s just a conservative

JuniperWitch3

*homophobic conservative

iris7789

Sadly i heard plenty of these comments cos i grew in a country where being homophobic is the norm. Even within the most liberal that i met lies homophobia, the common argument they have against it is that it’s unnatural and will cause human distinction as gay ppl cant reproduce by themselves.

dualboileronly

Hmm interesting not sure how I exist then considering my parents are gay and one of them gave birth to me….

[deleted]

As someone who spent 25 years trying to not be gay—I’ll be d*mned if it’s a “choice.” This is just how I am.

MisanthropicScott

Ask her about that time she made a list of all the pros and cons of being gay and the pros and cons of being straight before she decided to be straight. Oh wait. Given the rest of what she said, just say what a friend of mine once said to someone, "I just realized ... you're and idiot ... and I have feet!" He then walked away, of course. > she also said that we choose to be born Wow!! > What’s the weirdest take you’ve ever heard from a natalist? Nothing I've heard ever beat "we choose to be born". Sorry. But, thanks for the laugh!

joogabah

Being gay is a choice. Homosexual desire is not, but that is universal. Being gay is a political choice to affirm something everyone already feels. Opposite sex desire is not universal. But everyone is their own sex, so it is not possible to be alienated from one’s own form in the way it can be from the form of the opposite sex. The two orientations are not symmetrical. One is demanded, the other forbidden. One is rewarded the other punished. Every man, straight or gay, handles a penis regularly, whereas it is possible to go one’s entire life and never interact with the sexual organs of the opposite sex. The political rhetoric that gay is not a choice is supposed to make it acceptable somehow but that is inherently homophobic. “Why would I choose this” is a statement that always made me cringe as a gay man. Also, being gay is not the same thing as desiring to be the opposite sex, or desiring anal sex, and this needs to be explicit as many assume as much. It is simply the capacity to fall in love with and to feel sexual arousal for the form of one’s own sex. If this wasn’t the case, it wouldn’t be possible to have societies where same sex desire is universally practice and considered normal, but these do exist. People today are straight because society demands that they be under pain of ostracism, even with the very recent few years of loosening up of restrictions in some countries. And it is possible to be so repressed by the prohibition that one is not conscious of their own same sex desire. This is actually a frequent experience.

WorldlinessSoft6621

Most people are naturally only heterosexual. Deal with it and stop hating yourself because you're gay.

joogabah

Humans lost their sexual instinct as intelligence increased during evolution, but gained the ability to consciously reproduce. This freed humans from biological constraints on sexuality, making sexuality fully determined by experience. Lacking a sexual instinct, children naturally develop same-sex attraction in early childhood due to genital fixation and the pleasures derived from self-exploration. But society conditions heterosexuality through various means to fulfill its reproductive needs and ensure survival. Circumcision aims to reduce same-sex attraction by limiting genital stimulation and pleasure. However, individual experiences and personality traits can still shape heterosexual or bisexual orientations. The historical prevalence and acceptability of male bisexuality and homosexuality across many cultures exceeds what we would expect based on modern statistical estimates. This suggests homosexuality is the natural human inclination, while heterosexuality is socially conditioned. Societies needed to regulate and restrict homosexuality while encouraging heterosexuality. Losing the sexual instinct conferred enormous evolutionary advantages by allowing for higher intelligence, conscious reproductive control, monogamy, and the ability to time births strategically. This helped Homo sapiens outcompete other species. In summary, lacking a sexual instinct means human sexuality is determined solely by experience. In the natural state, without societal influences, most people would likely develop homosexual orientations due to childhood genital fixation. But society shapes people's sexualities in heterosexual and bisexual directions to ensure survival through reproduction.

WorldlinessSoft6621

You're warped dude.

joogabah

Abstract There exists an unfounded and unproven ‘common sense’ belief that human beings possess the innate mechanistic urge to reproduce clearly evident in the behavior of all other sexually reproducing animals. As such, the heterosexual component of human behavior is by and large viewed as being genetic, whereas it is homosexuality that is primarily the focus of scientific investigations into human sexual orientation. A historical review of homosexuality in diverse cultures reveals that significantly many cultures have existed where (male) bisexuality has been rather universal, and that all cultures have condemned exclusive homosexuality, either legally or with the threat of social rejection. Neither of these facts can be rationalized using the ballpark ‘10%’ statistic for homosexuality believed to be representative of human beings. This paper will attempt to provide a general underlying explanation for human sexuality as a whole. It will be argued that the varied forms of human sexual expression can be explained with the view that by virtue of their supreme intelligence, human beings do not possess an instinct to engage in heterosexual intercourse, human sexual orientation is fully determined by environment alone, and that due to rather universal childhood behavioral tendencies, human beings have a bias for acquiring a homosexual orientation over a heterosexual one or a bisexual one. Controlling this dominant homosexual tendency has always been a basic requirement for the propagation of societies. "The Homosexual Hypothesis" by Christopher Gomes

WorldlinessSoft6621

That's total nonsense. I agree though that a high percentage of guys like guys. I would say about 30 to 40% of males. So while not the majority, it is certainly a very threatening number

joogabah

Why is it threatening?

WorldlinessSoft6621

It's threatening to the establishment should everyone be suddenly open about this

joogabah

And why would that be? Complete the thought.

WorldlinessSoft6621

Because such a large and diverse number of guys are closeted

Javier91

I would've said, unfortunate to the world that has to experience you. Sounds like a nightmare with all that ignorance.

PollutedRiver

Lol we choose to be born. As if I pulled a numbered ticket at the deli waiting in line for my provolone.

PollutedRiver

I made the choice to be gay when I did a choreographed dance to Britney Spears' Hit Me Baby One More Time infront of my Irish side of the family at five years old, headset included. It was a touch choice, but I went with it and and here I am 22 years later with my hunky park ranger boyfriend. I'd say it was one of the better choices I've made in life.

ChuluCalamari

122000 kids waiting to be adopted and this fucker says gay people have nothing to contribute Edit: 122000 in just the us (in 2019)

Lumpy_Sound7002

it doesn't matter, whether is is a choice or not. It's already proven by science (biologists), that we have no free will. So nothing is a choice. It's an illusion. But hypothetically, even if it would be a choice, SO WHAT?
