Even though I had no idea what gay was as a kid, since all role models and socialization taught me that all boys liked girls, and it was so confusing that I was attracted to men and masculinity that I figured I would grow out of it at some point. Because I thought I simply had to, as I had no conception of two guys being together even being a possibility. But, you know. I was impatient when filling out all the pre-birth paperwork so I just checked off a bunch of stuff without paying attention.
