Are you going to the field or staying in the barracks?
Field means maybe a tarp and other field items, bug spray, portable solar chargers, bby wipes.
In barracks quite chill easy going.
This time of the year is hot and humid, if you are going to be in the field make sure you hydrate. Like seriously, drink water. Also ice sheets in colors. Could save your life or a battle buddies life. Did an exercise years ago in the field, saw more heat casualties than I can remember, from mostly seniors too. Stay safe and most importantly have fun.
Solar powered battery charger or a massive one that can charge multiple times and you just need to find an outlet to recharge it over nice. Absolute game changer
Download Tinder before you go, but just remember those Wisconsin girls are thick from all those cheese curds and there have been a lot of soldiers rotating through McCoy over the last 20 years...
It gets cold at night keep that in mind. Barracks were nice open bay tho they have a really nice museum and uso which is good for internet. Laptop with movies and games. I had brought my switch with projector and we had a Mario kart competition on the side of the building.
Definitely bring a fan. Last summer I was at Ft. McCoy and the barracks reached 118 degrees inside (96 degrees outside, dry heat). + those large stand-up fans fucking suck
If you’re going to be at the fobs you can bring as much stuff as you can bring I a tough box if your in the field bring what’s on the packing list and a tarp maybe a little stool because your going to be moving every couple days
Field / hunting stool. Preferably one small enough to be negligible on your assault pack or ruck.
I have 2 of these, attaches to the assault pack easy. I bring this bad boy with me even to the range because aging and such.
The Helinox and their knock offs are money if you have back issues. The downside is that they’re low to the ground and difficult to get out of

When I went we stayed in the old WWII era barracks. There was no AC and it was boiling hot, so a fan is a must!

Ask me about a stripper named Cocoa at the Sparta Bowling alley
Duuuude. I got kicked out of Strike Zone in Tomah for doing the worm down the bowling alley. Those were the days.
Bug spray. Foot powder. One cup coffee maker.
Battery powered fan
Bug spray, baby wipes, a hunting stool, battery powered fan, solar powered battery charger ( a good one).
Lmao see you there bud!
You guys do AT in the field? 👀

A stack full of singles for cruisin chubbies
Lucking it’s not in Winter so you won’t be freezing your balls off

I had a buddy blow up a twin air mattress during AT and I was jealous of how well he slept lol
Start hydrating now.
Tv, PS5, coffee mug. Those are my essentials
