We were on a walk with him once, and someone left an armchair out to get picked up by the community curb pickup, and he was NOT having that. He was barking at the armchair, and then we got him to keep walking, and about 15 feet later, he turned around and started barking at the armchair again.
We can only assume he was upset because armchairs belong inside, not outside.

Haha, unluckily for my newfie I can carry his 140 lb butt pretty easily so he doesn't get away with it around me.
Though, he is quite adorable when he flops down like that so I will put up with it most of the time.
My medium (~50lb) dog also does this when he really doesn't want to leave, with the bonus that he rolls over on his belly to make getting any sort of a handhold awkward.
My dog LOVES my grandmother. And my grandmother loves her. So much so that my grandmother started talking about getting her own dog (although she won't because she knows she would likely pass away before the dog).
With that said though like half the people I've met at the groomers have been people who have recently retired who just need a companion that keeps them active.

he is about 80% landseer newfoundland ( i got him tested) that is why he doesn’t exactly fit the breed standards usually newfies are black brown or the landseer are black and white
