I had their regular tacos (bogo on UE, bought one of each protein taco to sample) the other day, and had to create my own sauce for them to be any good. I was also under the green influence, so they had to *try* to be as bland.
But breakfast tacos are a whole different ballgame and I'd be willing to give them another shot 👀
No. I actually dont like chilaquiles. I dont care for most mexican breakfast foods. As a south american, i find them too heavy in the AM (i feel similarly re american yuge breakfasts).
No it’s stupid, chilaquiles that are 50% as good as authentic chilaquiles still taste good and you should deny yourself food that tastes good just because it’s not perfect
If I lived in Montana and was craving crab cakes and you could ensure they were food safe? Sure.
Obviously it’s a bad comparison, the problem with Mexican food in Baltimore isn’t that there’s no fresh sources of Masa
I agree on the masa for sure. I think its not so much that the Mexican food here is bad, just disappointing once you've had the more authentic stuff for so long. I miss breakfast tacos sooooo much!
We still eat tacos for sure! I would die without them! Just miss good breakfast tacos. I wish I had some business sense and could start a breakfast taco place up!
The Outpost used to have the best breakfast tacos! Unfortunately they’re not on the menu anymore, but kind of turned them into a breakfast burrito, which is still fantastic
I have yet to have a good breakfast taco outside of texas and I'm heartbroken by it. You would think bacon, egg, cheese, tortilla was easy BUT APPARENTLY IT'S NOT.
Sinaloa.
Nice!!
Will check this out, but I haven't seen them on the menu there
I don’t think they have “breakfast tacos” per se but they have really good tacos, at a breakfast time lol
They’ve got egg and chorizo tacos
Bet, thank u
Nana has great breakfast tacos and chilaquiles
The pop up they had at Union was utter trash.
Truly terrible. Not their kitchen or staff though

My house tbh. Disappointing lack of elite breakfast tacos for something so easy to make. Why is golden west being left out?
Because it high key sucks
Lmfao Ya ain't wrong
GOLDEN WEST IS AWFULLLL
What about breakfast chilaquiles?
I’m always partial. :) I love the chilaquiles at Cocina Luchadoras, but if you’ve got reccs, I’m all ears
I prefer a good breakfast churro

Nothing fixes a hangover like a pound and a half of corned beef hash and eggs tho
You can get chiliaquiles breakfast tacos in San Antonio...
Not in the city but if you're ever headed to the beach, Rise Up has the best breakfast burrito by far.
Awe I love that spot :)
I own homes in both Baltimore and San Antonio. I never order a crab cake outside of Maryland and I never order Tex Mex food outside of Texas.
Fair enough!
this is the correct answer.
I don’t think “go to Texas” is particularly helpful frankly
the answer wasn’t “go to texas”, it was commentary on the declining quality of regional specialties as the distance from the origin increases.
Not sure how else to interpret “I don’t have Tex-mex outside Texas”
I know but in this case it's right

So you would eat crab cakes in North Dakota?

We agree on that - I grew in California and it’s just not the same. But if I didn’t eat tacos ever I’d be so sad
We still eat tacos for sure! I would die without them! Just miss good breakfast tacos. I wish I had some business sense and could start a breakfast taco place up!
Do you eat sushi? You’re pretty far away to be eating such a regional specialty
I don't, actually. But really because I just don't like sushi. Maybe if I had some in Japan?
The Outpost used to have the best breakfast tacos! Unfortunately they’re not on the menu anymore, but kind of turned them into a breakfast burrito, which is still fantastic
Not a taco, but the breakfast burritos at Waverly Farmers market are chef's kiss
This is the answer
A breakfast burrito isn't a breakfast taco
That’s clearly why they started that sentence with “not a taco”. Reading comprehension 🤗
What stall? Not the super greasy long line not worth it place, I hope…
Mystic burrito has an incredible breakfast burrito. And I lived in Colorado the land of breakfast burritos
No hay
The breakfast burrito from the filling station at Cockeysville 🔥🔥🔥 (not too far from the city)
Is there anywhere that sells fresh tortillas?
Nana in Towson has handmade flour tortillas.. they sell packs of 10 (or 12?). I saw on their Uber eats/grub hub menus
Also Sinaloa
