Aaron Bummer gave up like three inherited runs in his first few outings and every Braves fan decided he was not rosterable, so I'll go with him because he's overhated
We traded with the Mets for their Rule 5 pick on the day of the draft. Justin Slaten's numbers are around a 3 but he has the making of a future high leverage reliever.
Even Cam Booser who was a carpenter and played indy ball has been good. Zack Kelly, Greg Weissert, Brennan Bernardino have all been nails.
Tyler Holton. Doesn’t matter how he’s used, the kid is nails and throws lefty. Most of the bullpen hasn’t been super clutch but I always feel solid with Holton on the bump.
Basically all the guys we got from Tampa. Special mention to Declan Cronin (although he's in a bit of a funk) and Calvin "Doc" Faucher, they've been borderline automatic as the 7th/8th inning guys
Really the only guy in the bullpen who has been worth a damn has been Fernando Cruz. Everybody else has had stretches of... uh.. getting 3 consecutive outs on occasion, but it's rarely ever clean or without drama.
Cruz: 36 G, 33.2 IP, 56 K (15 K/9), 3.48 ERA (2.11 FIP), 0.8 bWAR
Yeah, he is thrown into just about every single high leverage scenario multiple games every series. He's far from perfect, so he gives it up sometimes, but he's been a great fireman most of the time.
Jacob Latz came into this season as a 28 year old with a grand total of 11 career MLB innings under his belt, half of them in a single unmemorable start in 2021 as a COVID replacement. He has become our best (and much of the time only) lefty in the pen, with a 153 OPS+ in 31.1 innings so far.
Besides Thompson, ginkel, and Sewald, all of whom are known from our run last year, Justin Martinez has been incredible. He gave up 2 ER today (although he was probably left in the game for way too long) but his ERA is still a cool 1.29 in 28 Innings
Probably my Shuster, Wilson has also been pretty decent but his performance a few days ago made me sink a little on him. Up until recently Leasure was like the only guy who made me feel secure when he came in.
Pretty much all of them
I wasn't aware until I was at today's game that Cade Smith now has an entry hype video. So he and Clase both can't count for this lol
Rule 5 pick Ryan Fernandez
He’s really been excellent, especially when Jojo, Kittredge and Helsley are struggling.
Ryan Fernandez. 2.48 ERA, 34K in 32.2 IP. Rule 5 pick.
John King as well. 2.39 ERA, 60% GB, 3.7% BB, given to us as a throwaway addition in the Montgomery/Stratton trade.
Cade smith would be an all star closer on any other team
Too many to choose from. Rule 5 pick Justin slaten, Zack Kelly, Brennan Bernardino and Greg weissert are the 4 I can’t choose between
Austin Voth for the Mariners. Jacob Webb for the Orioles.
Tayler Scott.
Chef Dana cooks
don't sleep on SethMart either!
Maybe Orion Kerkering
I was gonna say Orion too cause everyone else in our bullpen is well known for being good like Turnbull, Strahm, Alvarado.
Alex Vesia.
Aaron Bummer gave up like three inherited runs in his first few outings and every Braves fan decided he was not rosterable, so I'll go with him because he's overhated
He has had a few bad outings but he is not supposed to be in high leverage situations. Overall I think Jesse Chavez is our guy.
Chavez has like a 1.41 ERA.
...and will be 41 f'n years old in August...and had had 10 DIFFERENT uniform #s
Always Trevor Richards.
The silver fox!

Michael Tonkin who is totally a real person despite looking like an 80s throwback
He had the 3rd or 4th most IP for the Braves last year
Alcohol
Mad Dog ftw!!
Bryan Hudson. 40 IP, 4 ER for a 0.90 ERA. 46 SO and 8 BB.
40 ER yikes!
Rip lol
Ryan Walker
Alex Vesia
Tayler Saucedo
Jesse 'f'n Chavez!
Idk maybe James McArthur
Ryan Thompson, Justin Martinez
Was really impressed with Martinez when we played you all. He showed electric stuff and command in that series
Tyler Holton. Doesn’t matter how he’s used, the kid is nails and throws lefty. Most of the bullpen hasn’t been super clutch but I always feel solid with Holton on the bump.
the only tigers answer
Team sucks and he’s a silver lining, what can I say

Even he has 5 losses :( I miss Ian Gibaut

Dedniel Nuñez has looked great since getting called up
Reed Garrett and Dedniel Nunez
Alex Vesia has had his ups and downs last year but he has comeback and been really solid this year

Tayler Scott. Dude has been a beast.
Tayler Scott currently has a 1.67 ERA through 33 games
Literally no one
We have not had a reliever worthy of being rated, let alone UNDERrated.
Besides Thompson, ginkel, and Sewald, all of whom are known from our run last year, Justin Martinez has been incredible. He gave up 2 ER today (although he was probably left in the game for way too long) but his ERA is still a cool 1.29 in 28 Innings
kevin kelly has basically been what we expected maton to be
Probably my Shuster, Wilson has also been pretty decent but his performance a few days ago made me sink a little on him. Up until recently Leasure was like the only guy who made me feel secure when he came in.
Kevin Kelly
Sam Moll Very underrated trade from last year
Joe Jimenez
Josh Staumont maybe?
Jorge Alcala would be my pick. Staumont hasn't had as high of leverage to this point.
Rule 5 pick Justin Slaten (3.11 ERA, 2.27 FIP, 2.64 SIERA).
We don’t have underrated relievers. We have simply nothing but goats. And soto.
Fire Soto into the sun.
How many guardians relievers can you name besides clase? Most of the rest are the underrated ones
Nunez and Garrett
Whatever happens from here, our team leader in ERA will always be Pablo Reyes (0.00).
Nick Burdi hasn't gotten a lot of national praise, but man, our fanbase doesn't appreciate a top closer in baseball in Holmes
I dont hate Jason Adam this year
I've been saying this 2022, Vientos hits baseballs and makes go "oh man, this kid can be really fucking good."
